I recently ( a couple weeks ago) got the chance to see this section of the Berlin Wall with some of my family.

Both the night before and on the drive there, my Dad told my sisters and I about the history of the wall (most of it I knew already, but my younger sisters haven't learned about that in school yet.) It was really interesting to hear, especially since my Dad lived through part of the Cold War...thanks to his history lesson, when we got there all my little sisters wanted me to take pictures of them 'sneaking' past the wall--the only problem being they would have been sneaking to the EASTERN side of the wall...

The scenery around the wall was gorgeous, too. If it had been a nicer day, I wouldn't have been able to get enough of it!

This was right next to the wall...I don't know why it was there, but the only thing I could think of was Narnia...
