Hi guys!!

This one-shot was inspired by a song from a musical! ;)) Also is this is a Percy Jackson AU. Now you won't be confused!!

This was made in like, two hours or so...? (P.S. I didn't proof read this and it's kinda late so really sorry for any errors...!)

Anyway, enjoy!

"Come on, grab some ambrosia, and let the nectar flow", said Shadow as he sat by the campfire.

"Why is everyone scraping part of their plate into the fire?", asked Hachi as he watched Queen put some of her food in the campfire in the middle. "Is the food here really that bad?"

"Offering to the gods.", said Shadow in an annoyed tone. "It's not enough that they're omnipotent and all-powerful, they need to feel appreciated.".

Shadow grabs his cup and raises it into the air. "To the gods!", he says, a small bit of frustration in his tone.

"To the gods!", he hears in reply as Hachi watches from the sidelines.

A tune from an acoustic guitar starts playing coming from who knows where as Shadow starts singing. "Oh, things couldn't be worse, when your parents run the universe!".

"Oh, things couldn't be worse, when your folks run the universe!", he hears in reply in the same melody as he sang from before, albeit with one word different.

"My dad is Hermes", sang Shadow. "He messengers things. You'll know his sign by his shoes with those wings.", he explained while making hand gestures that mimics wings on a shoe which he got from somewhere

"I'd wait by the phone, but the phone never rings.", he sang as his verse came to an end soon.

"Oh no!", he says as he hears agreements from the others.

"When your dad's a god, life can be tough", he continued. "I met the guy once, and once was enough!", he said in a tone laced with annoyance.

He stopped singing for a bit and called out, "Joker?"

He cleared his throat and stepped up front and started singing. "My mom's Athena! She's smart and she's wise.", he started off, listing off the things he's heard other people say about his Godly parent.

"She's sworn off gluten and she's sworn off guys.", he said with a chuckle. "But if she came to camp, it'd be a surprise!", he said in a tone which says he'd be genuinely surprised if his mom actually came to claim him, to take him in.

"Oh no!", he sang, mimicking Shadow from earlier.

"Oh no!", echoed Shadow and Akai.

"Oh, and my stepmom, she hates me, and my dad works all day.", he sang as an afterthought. "So I left Virginia and I ran away!", he sang casually, seemingly comfortable talking about his past.

"Wait, is that true?", asked Hachi with concern. Joker ran away from home? He didn't know that but the way he was mentioning it seemed like he was okay with talking about his past, so he guessed he shouldn't be that concerned...?

Ignoring Hachi, Shadow shouted aloud, "Everybody!".

"Oh, things couldn't be worse, when your parents run the universe!", sang everybody except Hachi. "Oh, things couldn't be worse, when your folks run the universe."

Shadow looked at the campfire in the middle before he looked around at everybody, asking, "Alright, who's next?"

"Oh!", perked up Akai. "Okay, let me see...".

"My mom's Demeter, Goddess of grain.", sang Akai. "She gets excited when it starts to rain.", he said as he thought that it was stupid. "But planting and planting and planting's a pain!", he exclaimes, expressing how stupid he thinks it is.

"Oh no!"

"Oh no", echoes everyone.

"Right?", he says looking at everyone as if this was the first time he had found someone who thought the same.

"For their sixteenth birthday, my friends got a car.", he sang, sounding a bit jealous. "I got a fern in some dumb mason jar.", he sang, frustrated.

"Ooh, ooh! My turn!", Rose said excitedly.

"I'm a child of Pan, God of the wild!", she sings happily. "For those who love nature, they're often beguiled."

"He's not really my dad, but I'm sort of his child...", she sang, her voice starting to waver. "Oh no...", she sang, tears starting to come out of her eyes.

"Oh no...", echoes everyone with their tones laced with concern.

"He went for a hike to explore new frontiers and no one has seen him for thousands of years!", she sang, bursting into tears.

"Oh, things couldn't be worse, when your parents run the universe!", sang everyone except Hachi once again, Rose still sobbing in the background with Shadow comforting her.

"Oh, things couldn't be worse, when your folks run the universe!".

"Silver Heart-san! Who's your dad?", asked Hachi as everyone looked at him with faces of innocence.

"Oh, well...", replied Silver Heart in surprise and awkwardness.

"My father is Kronos...", he started off awkwardly. "Remember my lecture...?", he questioned the group who only had looks of confusion.

He took a deep breath and sang. "He ate his children...".

Silence washed over everyone before Shadow broke the silence with a simple, "Silver Heart wins.".

In response, he heard everyone agree that Silver Heart's dad was the worst out of all of theirs.

"How about you Queen?", asked Shadow to continue the song.

"The goddess of love, my mom's Aphrodite.", started Queen. "She tries to be cool but mainly she's flighty.", explained Queen.

"I'll bring home a boy, and she's there in her nightie!", sang Queen embarrassed with a blush over her cheeks.

"Oh no!", sang everyone, feeling sympathy for Queen because she had to go through that.

"It's so embarrassing, guys!", she exclaimed, flailing her arms about.

"I tried to seek help from even the fates.", she continued. "Cause she steals my mascara and all of my dates!".

Shadow then turns to Hachi and said. "Alright, Hachi, it's your turn!".

Everyone then turned to Hachi, wanting to hear him sing about his parent but Hachi only looked off to the side with a blush on his cheeks. "If I tried to sing, it'll probably cause an avalanche...".

"Oh, we're all friends here. Come on, give it a shot!", encouraged Shadow.

Hachi sighed and started off slow. "My mom was named Sally. She loved scary movies...", he sang fondly. "And food that was blue, and-"

But he was cut off by Phoenix when he said, "He's doing it wrong."

"Yeah.", agreed Queen. "Who's your godly parent?", she asked.

"Oh...", Hachi's mood dampened a tad bit. "I don't know...".

Shadow put a hand on his shoulder and said, "It's alright. A lot of half-bloods never know their godly parent.", he comforted then encouraged him by saying, "Just give it a try!".

Hachi nodded before starting once more, his dad on his mind this time instead of his mom, "So my dad is some god, that's great I guess...", he trailed off a bit. "Did he not want me? Or not want the stress?", he questioned as he sang, some of his anger coming out.

"Too bad he's the worst, and my life is a mess!", Hachi sang louder.

"Oh no!"

Seeing that Hachi was getting the hang of it, everyone started to cheer, "Go Hachi!", one of them said.

"I hope he shows even a trace, cause I got some choice words to throw in his face!", Hachi sang, releasing his anger.

"Oh, things couldn't be worse, when your parents run the universe!", they all sang, this time including Hachi as he joined in with a grin.

"Oh, things couldn't be worse!", thay sang once more.

"But I don't care where our parents may be!", sang Shadow, interrupting the normal lyrics of the chorus. "As long as you are here with me!".

Everyone put their hands on each other's shoulders, swaying along with the tempo of the song. "We don't care where our parents may be, as long as you are here with me!".

"As long as you are here with me!".
