(Remember What You Wish To Forget) What The Frag Pt8

A/N: This chapter contains triggering subjects.

It was now nighttime aboard the Nemesis and the two evil femmes had painted Breakdown, Starscream, Dreadwing and 5t3v3.

Breakdown was tainted with gold, silver and red point. Starscream was gold, black and blue. 5t3v3 was blue, gold and sky orange while Dreadwing was black, gold and red.

After spending a couple hours painting the four mechs the two girls settled with the same routine as the night before, although they had more time to sleep.

Author Valkyrie tucked Blair in and rolled in for her friend to cuddle her.

And she remembered that day, the first day she had ever experienced this comforting warmth.

~Flashback~
1st person, Val's pov

They grabbed me by the arm, they dragged me to the front door of a large mansion. The child authorities were scared of me. A minor, a 15 year old. I was abandoned, or so I thought. But my parents left me, to protect me.

The doorbell wrung, like windchimes gently singing in a light breeze. Moments later the door was answered, and a dark haired young female answered the door. "Are you my new sister!?" she squealed. "I am," I smiled down at her, "I'm your new sister, Valkyrie."

The young girls parents arrived behind the energetic ball of light. But all I could see was grey, with a sparkling light shining through my darkness.

As time passed I was becoming depressed, and deep scars littered my body, but my little sister Blair would never know I was gradually becoming more and more depressed, but I hide it behind fake smiles and convincing laughs, hiding behind long cargo pants and jackets.

Soon enough, though, it became harder and harder to hide. Until it came to nights where I was bawling my eyes out until I snuck into Blair's room and cuddled her until I fell asleep. The excuse I used was that I heard her whimpering and whining in her sleep and I came in to comfort her.

Until the day, the day that I snuck into Blair's room when I thought she was asleep. She saw me crying, she saw my arms bleeding a I tended to my wounds.

"What are you doing? You're bleeding!" Young Blair whispered.

"Oh Blair! I'm so sorry! You shouldn't have seen that!" tears ran freely down my face and that faithful day, was the one where Blair hugged me. Not any ordinary hug. This was one filled with sorrow, with love, with hurt, with happiness. She was sad I was hurt, she loved me as a big sister as her best friend, she was hurt I didn't tell her, and she was happy to help.

Over the years as Blair grew up in my company she became wiser, stronger, faster and better. She was the best sister I had. And her parents bought me in as one of their own.

And as they grew older they were proud of the children they had raised... Then something bad happened.

Our parents were taking us to the festival in Jasper, Nevada. And I had a gut feeling I should drive, but my attempts were futile, our parents wanted to do something nice, and I thought my feeling was nothing major.

Along the main road we were all singing to a song that I had introduced them to called Hells Coming With Me by Poor Mans Poison:

They all laughed as he turned around slow
They said you ain't welcome 'round here anymore
You just might as well go
He wiped the blood from his face as he slowly came to his knees
He said, I'll be back when you least expect it
And hell's coming with me
Hell's coming with me
There is a hill at the bottom of the valley
Where all the poor souls go when they die
And if you listen real close
You can hear em' like a ghost
Saying you're never gonna make it out alive
There is a town at the bottom of that hill
They got a secret that they keep like a slave
They got a black magic preacher (ooh)
We'd do well to let him teach her
You'll be heading up that hill to the grave
And it is well, with my soul
You line your pockets full of money that you steal from the poor
And on your way down to hell, you hear me ring that bell
I'd pay the devil twice as much to keep your soul
There was a drifter passing through that little valley
See he had promised he was coming back to town (coming back to town)
They didn't know him by his face, or by the gun around his waist (ooh)
But he come back to burn that town to the ground
First there was fire, then there was smoke
Then that preacher man was hangin' by a rope
Then they all fell to their knees and begged that drifter
Begged him please, as he raised his fist before he spoke
I am the righteous hand of God
And I am the devil that you forgot
And I told you one day you will see
That I'll be back I guarantee
And that hell's coming, hell's coming
Hell, hell's coming with me
And it is well, with my soul
You line your pockets full of money that you steal from the poor
And on your way down to hell, you hear me ring that bell
And I said, hell's coming with me (hell's coming with me)

With the songs ubrupt ending we all cheered, then screamed. A drunk driver was headed straight towards us, I lept forwards to attempt evasive manoeuvres, but I was too late.

I took the brunt of the hit that could have hurt Blair, but she was safe, and if I died, I wouldn't have cared. But Blair would have.
I heard sirens then I blacked out.

I woke again in hospital, snapped leg, crushed shoulder, major bruising and a slight concussion. But I was okay, and so was Blair. That's all that mattered... "Where's Sire and Carrier?" I whispered with a dry throat.
"They're gone!" she exclaimed. "We couldn't save them!"
It was now my time to be the support for my sister.

I had met Nurse Darby along with her son Jack. They came in and gave us their condolences. I nodded thank you and they left. As I lay cuddling the only family I had left.

Until I met the Autobots and the Decepticons. And I met my carried sire, Unicron. I met my spark sire after that, Satan.

Blair went with my friend Shadowclash who promised to protect her with his spark, to the 'Cons. And l left with my mute friend Cyberknight to the Autobots. And somehow we wormed our ways into the Decepticon warlords spark. And sometimes it's like we aren't even at war.

~End Flashback~

Blair's POV

Valkyrie shook with tears pouring out of her eyes. Something she hasn't don't since the death of our parents. She missed them, or maybe she was having flashbacks again.

The recently painted Megatron peered into my makeshift home and looked at the shaking girl I was holding.

Megatron: is she okay?

I nodded to Megatron and gently shook her awake.
"She's remembering things you wish to forget."
