Your POV

Thomas and I ran into the maze after Mihno because he was taking forever. We both heard a growling noise so we ran and then jumped off the edge. We both screamed and held on to this vine wall for dear life. The noise kept coming back. I saw this weird looking spider-monkey thing. It used its legs to hold on to where it was on either side of Thomas and I.

" Let go Y/n" Thomas said

I turned to look at him but he was gone. I then let go before anything happened to me. We both then came tumbling to the ground. I was a little farther than Thomas because that thing was close to his face. I watched him move back very fast and I did the same thing. We both got to our feet to run. Mihno came out of nowhere and almost gave me a heart attack. While Thomas jumped out of his skin, now I would have laughed at that, but I am terrified right now.

" You guys are crazy idiots!" He said

" Come on, We got to go."

Mihno grabbed Thomas while Thomas grabbed my hand. We kept running until Mihno said " Ok it's changing, it's changing. Come on." I followed them " This thing is close. Come on We can leave It down here."

I ran after him thinking Thomas was following me.

" THOMAS!!" Mihno screamed

I turned around confused to see him far behind.

" What are you waiting for? Get out of there."

I was shaking and praying Thomas would listen to him. I saw the monster again and I was about to go get Thomas until Mihno grabbed me and shook his head no.

" COME ON!" Thomas screamed

I saw him run to our way and started tearing up.

" Come on Thomas, don't look back. Runnnn! Move it."

Mihno kept yelling at Thomas to move it while I cried silent tears.

" THOMAS!!!" Mihno screamed

Third Person POV

The wall opened and Chuck said " Guys get up!"

Everyone got up to be disappointed to see nobody there. Newt said " Told you Chuck. They're not coming back."

Everyone walked away until one of them turned around to find Thomas, Y/n, Mihno and Alby being carried to the exit. " No way."

Everyone cheered when they saw them.

Your POV

We made it to the exit while carrying Alby. The group helped us grab him to lie down on the ground.

" You see a griever." Chuck questioned

I nodded while Thomas said " Yeah, I saw one."

We were all breathing heavenly to running and carrying him out.

" He didn't just see it. He killed it." Mihno said

I was proud of him but also still scared for his life. He took a huge risk. We got Alby to the tent with medical help and I hugged Thomas trying to calm myself down.

" Y/n/n it's ok. We're safe now." He told me while hugging me tighter.
