Your POV

I was shopping at the mall with my friends when I heard someone call my name. I looked at my two friends, but spun around when I heard multiple footsteps approach me. I smiled at the young girls. Even though my dad's Captain America, it's like fans know I did some acting on my own.

" Hi guys." I said softly

They all asked for pictures which I took with them. After they left, all three of us headed to finish shopping.

We made a stop at the food court before we left the mall. I was walking to the parking lit when I heard shouts. I felt my anxiety spike a little. I saw some stores but didn't get very far when I was immediately faced with a camera. I already texted my dad before they showed up.

" Excuse me." I said trying my best to be polite

Chris POV

Y/n texted me saying how paparazzi showed up and she felt anxious. I immediately went into protective dad mode and rushed to her location. It didn't take me long to get to her. When I got there I saw a huge crowd and it was hard to find her. I sighed and got out of the car speeding over there.

When I was speeding over there to save her I could hear them asking multiple questions. I just knew she was getting anxious by all of them. I pushed past them, telling them to move. 

Your POV

" Can you guys please back up?" I asked trying to sound confident

All they kept doing was ask me multiple questions to make me more anxious. " Guys! Move aside!" I heard my dad's voice

I spun around accidentally tripping over someone's foot. I expected to hit the ground but my dad caught me. " Can you guys move back some!" he shouted a little

I hugged my dad, still trying to get rid of my anxiety. I felt him hug me back still trying to get the paparazzi to back off.

" Guys I'm not messing around leave!" he yelled

I heard them still taking pictures and felt nervous. " Leave now!" he shouted to them again

I finally heard footsteps walking away and soon relaxed in my dads arms. I felt him rubbing my back.

" You doing okay Y/n/n." he whispered

I nodded and pulled away from the hug. " Can we go now." I whispered

He nodded, " Yea let's get home kiddo." he softly said pulling me into his side. I leaned into his side and followed him to the car.

Once we were seated he started the drive home. I was mostly quiet for the car ride while looking out the window.

Chris POV

I would glance over at her a couple times to check on her. I could tell she was still filled with anxiety. " You sure you're okay buddy." I softly asked

All I got was a nod and sighed. I continued to drive back to the house. When we got in the driveway I was about to talk to her, but she rushed inside. All I could do was watch. I turned the car off and walked inside and left her for a while.

It's been about two hours until I went upstairs to check on Y/n. I knocked gently on her door only getting a small 'come in'. I slowly opened the door to find her curled up in her bed listening to music. I took a deep breath. " You okay buddy." I softly asked

I saw her shrug her shoulders and sighed. I walked over to her and sat on the side of her bed. " Sweetie, I know today was rough for you, but don't shut your pal out. I'll always be here for you." I softly told her

" Dad?" she quietly asked

I placed a gentle hand on her arm. " Yea." I responded to her while slowly trying to keep her calm.

" Is the paparazzi always like that?" She questioned

I sighed, " Most of the time no. I don't know what happened there." I told her

She let out a shaky breath. " Don't stress too much kiddo." I told her to pat her arm.

"Can we do something?" She whispered

I smiled, " Sure, what do you have in mind." I questioned

" Can we do a daughter and dad movie night?" she asked

" Sounds like a good plan to me." I said getting up while helping her so we could head downstairs.

When we made it to the living room. I asked...

" Want any popcorn or anything?"

She shook her head while looking for a movie. I smiled and sat down next to her.

We were on our fourth movie when I heard small snores coming from her. I couldn't help but chuckle. I carefully picked her up to take her to bed. She moved some, but relaxed eventually. I then slowly walked up to her room and put her on the bed softly. I watched her for a couple seconds before whispering " Love you kiddo."

I then slowly left her room to relax down stairs before going off to sleep myself.
