Zee's POV

The group and I all separated except JJ and I because I wanted to walk him back to his house since he was alone. He told me he would rather walk me home, but I refuse him to walk me home when I know I have a family that loves me.

When we got to his house he was hesitant to go in, which made me feel so bad for him. I put my hand on his shoulder and gave him a gentle squeeze. He turned to look at me which made his face super close to mine.

" Are you going to be okay alone?" I whispered

He smiled and whispered. " Yea, I'll be fine. I've been taking care of myself since I was little."

I just gave in a small smile. " All right, well I'm always here if you ever need me. Call me Jay."

He nodded his head and pulled me into a hug which made me hug him tighter. I felt his breath on the side of my neck which made me smile. We pulled away and I gave him one last smile before walking home.

I saw my mom and dad standing on the front porch and smiled and felt my eyes water. I ran up into my moms arms. " I missed you so much mom." I said letting the tears fall

When I pulled away from the hug I felt my dads eyes on me. " Where have you been Zee?"

I gulped and looked down. " Um, we got stuck on a deserted island."

All he did was walk back inside. My mom sighed and followed him inside. I didn't want to even walk inside but I had to. I just hoped one of the guys or girls had something fun to do soon.

JJ's POV

I was sitting on my couch downing a beer wishing someone that cared about me was here. All I could think about was how my father treated me in this very house and it made me not want to be here anymore. When I was done with the beer can I threw it at the wall in anger. I grabbed my phone to see if JB would let me spend the night, but I only saw that Zee texted me. I felt my heart beat, just seeing her text asking if I was doing okay made me nervous. I never felt this way about anyone before which sort of scared me.

I quickly texted her back saying I was fine. She sent back a smiley face which made me let out a deep chuckle. I then went to John B's text to see if he would let me spend the night, but then I thought about it and decided not too since he probably wants to spend it with his dad.

Zee's POV

I was now in my room on the phone with Kie and I was telling her all about my crush on JJ that happened all of a sudden.

" Kie, I don't know how it started. Just when I look at him all I feel is butterflies and he makes me nervous with everything he does now."

She smiled through the screen and said...

" Zee, I think you're in love, girl."

I let out a quick laugh and said, " You're right I think maybe I am."

Before either of us could say anything else my dad came barging in. I looked at him shocked. He looked down at my phone and said with his eyes to end the call. I gave a Kie and apologize look and hung up.

" You can't love that boy Zee, do you understand me? He's not good for you." He said

I looked at him. " Were you listening to my conversation?"

He rolled his eyes and looked at me and again stated, " I know boys like him. He's only going to end up breaking your heart. He comes from a bad home life and I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out like his father."

I jumped up out of my chair and looked at him with so much hate and disgust. " Don't ever say that again! He is nothing like his father. I should know because I hang out with him everyday."

He glared at me and then told me. " You are never allowed to see him or heck even that group you hang out with anymore."

Before I could say anything else he walked out the door. I heard him lock it which made me rush over to it and bang on the door. I gave up and slid to the floor and cried.

I opened my eyes and saw that I was lying on the ground. I was confused at first but then remembered what happened yesterday. I heard a knock on the door and then a voice followed after. " Honey, I know you're mad at your father, but he's only trying to protect you." she paused before saying...

" I'll unlock the door because I knew you wanted to go watch that movie that was going to play this afternoon."

" Really, could you mom?" I asked

Instead of answering me she just unlocked the door and when I opened it I hugged her super tight. " Thank you so much mom." I whispered

I felt her smile and she told me to get ready. So I went back into my room to get ready to go watch the movie.

I was watching the movie, but then the screen caught on fire and I saw people behind the screen running away. I decided to run over there to find Kie, Pope and JJ. I was shocked to find JJ beat up. " OMG!" I ran right over to him and helped him steady himself. I glanced at Kie and she told me...

" They got into a fight with Rafe."

I sighed and just held onto him. I felt so bad for what has been happening to him lately. " Jay, are you okay? Can you walk by yourself?" I whispered to him

He just looked over at me and didn't give me a full answer so I just took most of his weight with the help of the other guys and we made our way to my house because I have better supplies.

When we got to my house I whispered to JJ that we were so close but then I heard my dad yell.

" Zee, you know you're not allowed to hang with him or them either."

I gasped and turned my head to face him. He was so close to us and he then turned to JJ and started yelling at him for being near me, but I stopped him before he could even lay a hand on him.

" Dad! Stop! He's already hurt enough, don't make it worse okay."

He turned to me and glared, " Then you young lady are forbidden to ever see him again."

I signed and just nodded and gave Kie and Pope JJ so they could take him to one of their houses. We all looked at each other and frowned. I turned back to my dad and gave him a glare before marching inside all the way to my bedroom to cry.

JJ's POV

After getting patched up and making sure nothing was broken I took off back to my house to fix my bike and just to be alone with my thoughts. I just wish her dad wasn't so strict with her and not be so quick to judge me. All I wanted was to feel loved and if her dad takes her away from me then my heart would be broken forever I think.

Zee's POV

I was in my kitchen making some lunch for both JJ and I, which was probably a terrible idea but I couldn't help it. I just don't want him to starve and then die from not eating anything. I heard footsteps coming my way and it made me tense thinking it was my dad but I then heard my mom's voice. " What are you doing?"

I sighed and turned. " Making lunch for JJ."

She looked at me with a look, but then understood where I was coming from. She was about to say something, but I stopped her and said. " Mom, please. JJ is the only thing that makes me happy these days and if dad takes that away from me then it's just going to break my heart."

She sighed and nodded for me to head out. " Be back in an hour or your dad will kill the both of us." I smiled and kissed her cheek. " Thanks mom, I promise." I then sprinted to his house with my basket with goodies.

I saw him outside fixing his bike so I placed the basket on the table and quietly walked up to him and covered his eyes and whispered. " Guess who."

I felt him tense up and I immediately started feeling bad so I pulled myself in front of him so I was in between him and his bike. " Jay, I'm so sorry."

He just looked at me confused. He then started freaking out. " Jay what's..."

He interrupted me and started ranting about my dad killing him for being with me. I let out a small giggle because I didn't care what my dad said. He can't control my life. I walked up to him and gently placed my hands on his shoulder to get him to look at me. " Jay, I don't care what my father has to say. He doesn't control my life."

" But..." he whispered

I put my finger on his lips. " No buts. let just eat some food I brought and be with each other because..." I paused since I was nervous but then got the courage to tell him. " I love you Jay, and you don't have to say it back or anything but I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I want to be able to be there for you when you need me or when you feel the need to talk. I'll be by your side always."

He just looked at me with an open mouth. I gently closed it for him and waited a second before leaning in, I stopped inches away from his lips and waited for him to move. He snapped out of his daze and pulled me in by my waist and placed his lips on top of mine. I smiled into the kiss and pulled him in more if it was even possible.

He pulled away and left his forehead on mine and smiled. " Let's eat."

I let out a small giggle and pulled away from his grasp and walked over to the basket and pulled everything out. We laughed, kissed and fed each other food, but the one thing on my mind was that he had nowhere to sleep.

I sighed and he questioned, " Is everything okay Zee."

I looked up at his gorgeous blue eyes and smiled before telling him. " What if you spent the night at my place?"

He shook his head no. " Zee, you know I can't do that. Your dad would literally murder me."

I just grabbed his hand and rubbed my thumb over his bruised knuckles. " I don't care what my dad thinks Jay, I just want you to have a nice place to sleep. And I just want to hold you tonight."

I glanced up to find him with a small smile. " Zee, you're adorable. Did you know that?"

I let out a giggle. " So, is that a yes?"

He nodded his head and I did a little dance in my seat, which just made him laugh.

JJ's POV

We were now at her house and I was in the bathroom getting cleaned up trying to be quiet since her parents were asleep. I thought about everything so far and I was just happy to finally have her as mine now.

I turned off the bathroom light and made my way quietly but quickly to her room and froze when I saw that she was only in a black t-shirt and shorts. She turned around and smiled at me and whispered for me to come in. I then closed the door and locked it just to be safe.

" Your room is really cozy looking." I whispered to her

" Thanks." she said

I then saw the bed and laptop and looked at her with a questioning look. She smirked and got in bed and then patted the spot next to her. I smiled and got in and wrapped myself in her sheets. I then pulled her closer to me while I watched her work on finding a movie. All I could really do was admire her.

I heard the sound of the movie playing but didn't feel like watching it because she was more interesting than the movie. It didn't really take her long to fall asleep which made me just cuddle her into my side even more. I saw her smile and pulled me closer to her, which made me smile. I then softly whispered...

" I love you so much Zee, you don't even know."

I then kissed her forehead while closing her laptop. It then got comfy and fell asleep with her right by my side.
