I was walking around trying to find my boyfriend, when I heard shouting. I grew confused and concerned so I tried to speed my pace up to find out what the shouting was about. I turned the corner to find Kelly shouting at one of the other employees that works here. I didn't want to interfere, but at the same time I want to make sure nobody gets hurt too badly.

" Babe?" I said cautiously

He turned around, but didn't let the guy go. I let out a sigh before slowly walking up to him. I put a gentle hand on his shoulder and I could feel how he instantly became less tense. I gave him a gentle look and pulled his hand off the guy and nodded my head for the guy to leave. He immediately ran the other way.

" Babe, I understand your work life, but come on. Attacking your co-workers, thats super low for you" I said

He let out a sigh of frustration. I felt his shoulders drop and he looked deeply disappointed in himself. I was about to tell him something, but he looked up and looked at me with so much guilt. Which made me grow even more concerned than before. " What's going on with you baby?"

He took my hands into his and frowned. " I don't know."

I looked up and sighed. I took my hands out of his and out mine on the side of his face. I gave him a pointed look, just to tell him I'm not stupid. " Kelly, I know you. I know there is something going on, but you're not telling me."

He pushed my hands down and started pacing the hallway. He let out a loud groan and ran his hands through his hair. He turned to me and looked over. " You won't don't get it. You will never understand Zee."

I tried to walk closer to him, but he took a step back so I stayed put. " Then tell me Kelly. What's going on?"

He just shook his head and pushed past me and continued to walk away from me. I was just standing there watching him. I could feel my eyes tear up, but I didn't give them the satisfaction of letting my emotions get the best of me.

Kelly's POV

I didn't want to tell Zee about my problem because I want to try to avoid telling her about the little chat I had with her dad. I didn't have the heart to tell her that her dad felt like we didn't belong together. Just thinking about this now makes me want to punch something. And that's exactly what I did. I turned to the wall and punched it so hard that the skin on my knuckles broke. They started bleeding, but I didn't care about that right now. I didn't understand how nobody gets that I was in love with Zee and I would do anything to protect her. I was not going to break up with her. Because if I did, I don't think I could handle the pain of the heartbreak.

I eventually calmed down and I was now in the training room going through the tasks that my boss set up. I was trying to get my mind off of all this stuff with Zee and her dad. Before I was able to throw the knife at the target I saw my boss walk in. I gulped a little scared of him right now. I didn't know if the guy I was torturing told him about the situation. He looked at me and looked down at the knife in my hand. I put it carefully on the table so I couldn't throw it and hurt him.

" I had a little chat with your girlfriend's dad, and you know how much I can't stand that guy. He told me that he wanted you to break up with her. But you didn't listen to him, so he wants me to talk to you. And I told him I would." He paused before starting up again. " I know that she's from a rich family, but you know she's probably just using you for attention because her daddy doesn't give her enough."

I knew what he was doing because I saw the hint of humor in his eyes. He just wants to get a rise out of me. I walked up to him and said in a super low voice. " If you touch a single piece of hair on her body I won't hesitate to kill you. Or anybody that you assign to kill her."

All he did was let out a laugh. " Kelly, if you could hear yourself right now. God! I can't end your whole career right here right now." I took a gulp trying to compress my nerves and got angry. He just smirked and said, " Now if you don't break up with her then bad things will come your way, and to her family's way. You really don't want to mess with me and if you are willing to protect her then break up with her because that's the only protection she will be getting from you."

I didn't know what to say. I want to protect her by still being with her, but he just said he would kill her family and possibly murder the both of us then. He watched my face fall before letting out a chuckle and patted my shoulder. " I really hope you do the right thing bud." He then walked away and out the door. I heard it slam shut and immediately fell to my knees. I didn't want to break up with her cause I love her so much that it would kill me to ever see her sad.

I had no choice other than breaking up with the love of my life. If I didn't he would kill everyone I love and everyone Zee loves. And I can't do that to her. I wouldn't really care what happened to me. I took a deep breath through my nose and went off to find Zee.

Zee's POV

I was in the cafe area that they have here. I was super bored and I was still thinking about Kelly. I need to know what was happening to him because if it's me then I have the right to know. Before I could get up to find him I saw him walking through the door. " Baby! I was just about to come find you..." I took a pause and saw the look on his face. I quickly got up to go comfort him, but he put his hand up to stop me from coming up to him. I frowned and started messing with my fingers. I heard him let out a sigh before saying, " I need to break up with you."

I snapped my head up and frowned. " What? Why? I don't understand."

He didn't say anything. I could tell he was thinking super hard. I wanted to go over to him, but I didn't want to make him even more upset. " Kelly, what did I do? Is it me?" I whispered

He looked up and shook his head. " No, angel. You did nothing. It's me. I just need to take time for myself."

Before I could say anything else. He started walking out the door, but he stopped and turned around. " I would leave and not come back. This place is super dangerous for you to be here. So please leave for me." He then went out the door making the door close behind him.

All I could really do was stare at the place he was and try to keep the tears from falling. I couldn't move, I felt frozen to the ground. I knew I had to move, but my brain wouldn't let me.

Kelly's POV

After walking out of the room away from Zee, all I could think about was going back in there and making her forgive me. I was so angry with everyone. I don't get why they care about my life so much, but it is making me so mad. I saw a bathroom so I walked right in there and looked at the mirror and saw a broken boy who just wanted to be loved, but couldn't because everyone thinks I don't deserve it. I grew so angry at myself for listening to them, that I lost control of my own body and punched the mirror. I watched the pieces fall into a million pieces just like how my heart broke when I saw Zee's face after I told her that I wanted to break up.

I couldn't even recognize myself anymore. I didn't want to be this person who follows orders anymore. I want to have a family and not worry about the little things. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Zee, but I couldn't because I listened to my boss and her dad. I hated myself for what I have done and what I have out her though in the future.

Third Person POV

'8 months later '

Zee was just walking down the street feeling down. She couldn't get rid of the feeling about when Kelly broke it off with her. She never got her real answer, she really wanted to know why he just suddenly decided to break up with her. While she was in her thoughts she didn't pay attention to where she was going she slammed right into someone. She immediately apologized, but when she looked up she saw him for the first time. The both of them felt like they were in a trance.

Kelly immediately pulled her into his embrace. " Zee I thought I never see you again." he stated

She looked shocked, but fell right into his warm embrace. She missed the way he smelled and missed the way his arms wrapped around her. She was just so glad to have him back into her arms. " I have so much to tell you angel." he whispered

Zee pulled away from his chest to see him already watching her. She smiled and nodded. " Then tell me the truth Kelly." she whispered

" I did it to protect you. I know I shouldn't have done it that way, but your dad and my boss both said things and I was scared of what they might do. So when they wanted me to break up with you I thought that was the only option."

Zee felt tears falling down her cheeks, which got his attention. He used his thumbs to wipe them away. He pulled her back into his embrace.

What the two didn't realize was that a car was honking at them to move but before the car had a chance to stop it had already slammed into the two bodies. The impact immediately killed the two lovers.

Zee woke up to find herself wearing a white dress that reached the bottom of her thighs and then she turned to find Kelly only wearing white pants and a button up shirt that wasn't buttoned. She freaked out for a second, but then smiled because she knew that they could enjoy the quiet and be together forever now.

Kelly woke up to find Zee already smiling at him and he couldn't help but smile back at her. He pulled her down to give her a welcome back kiss. He couldn't believe that they died, but was also super happy that they died together.
