Helena
(Don't mind my timing and everything I just wrote the way I wanted to...so please don't tell me that this song doesn't line up with times and stuff idc so...yeah and shut up about relations okay? Okay.)
I sat down by the park, watching everyone. This was going to become an adjustment. Coming here everyday. My fiancé Gerard and I moved here and now I take Bandit here everyday to play. She runs around and makes friends. She's my pride and joy. Her blonde hair standing out. Bandit enjoyed this place so much, and so did I. It was a safe park, so I could read and write to my heart's content. Then when she wanted to go home, she'd come get me and then we'd go home for dinner.
I opened my laptop and turned the hotspot on. I started writing ideas down, working on multiple things and reading a bit in between. I looked up once in awhile to see Bandit was still sliding down slides and swinging on the swing set.

*Gerard's POV*
I sat down at the recording studio. We were all coming back to do a new album. This one was going to be cool because it had a theme. We were all Killjoys. We all had this plan to make up a story with two of our songs and stuff. All we had to do was record stuff today and edit it all together.
We got into the studio and started tuning and warming up. The studio manager knocked on the window and held up my phone. I set down the microphone and stepped out.
It's Y/N. "Hey Babe. How's Bandit?"
"Hi. Is this Gerard?"
"Yes? Where's Y/N are she and Bandit okay? May I ask who this is?"
"Hello. Yes Bandit is okay and I'm Dana. I'm sorry but I'm a police officer. Your fiancé was murdered. She was stabbed multiple times. I'm so sorry." She was dead. Oh God, she was dead. No. No. No. no. This can't be happening.
"No, you're lying."
"I'm sorry Mr. Way."
"Thank you." I hung up and sat down. Tears streamed my eyes. I can't believe what I just heard. The love of my life was dead. "Are you okay dude?" Frank came up to me and sat next to me.
"Y/N's dead. She was stabbed." I kept my eyes staring at the ground.
"Jesus, I'm so sorry for your loss. We can take it from here, go down and see her." He got my jacket and saw me out the door. "I'll tell everyone else. You need time. Keep in touch." He gave me a slight smile and then shut the door and turned.
I walked out of the building. I walked down to the police station. The building was white inside. "Hello, may I help you?" A receptionist welcomed me inside.
"Uh, yes. I'm Gerard." She nodded and wrote me a pass.
"Down the hall, Dana Frazier's office." She smiled kindly at me.
Inside the office, Bandit sat sobbing in a chair, the officer sitting in front of her trying to help calm her. I knocked on the door. I opened the door and Bandit ran to me. I picked her up and ran my hand over her head a couple of times. "It's okay, I'm here baby." She laid her head on my shoulder and kept crying. "It's okay baby."
The officer looked at me with sympathy. "She saw a lot. I'm sorry. She's the one who call us actually. She might be quiet for awhile. Would you like to see her?"
"Yes, if that's okay. Is there anywhere Bandit can go?"
"Yes." She stepped into the hall. "Steve!" A man came down the hall. He had to be 20 if that. He seemed like a nice dude. He saw me and his eyes went wide.
"You're Gerard Way. I'm so sorry for your loss." He knew me, but he knew. "I'll take Bandit. I work in the children department." I set her down and told her I'd be right back. She clinched a bit but then went to Steve.
"Thank you." Dana took me to the morgue. Her finger scanned the name tags until she came to Y/N's. She opened it up, revealing a body. My eyes couldn't believe what they saw.
She was pale, her (H/C) hair spread over the metal table. Her eyes were shut and her lips were a light shade of pink. Those were the lips that I used to kiss. I miss seeing her put crazy colors onto those lips.
I looked at her dead self. Then Dana pulled the sheet up and I saw her stomach area. It was scaring. The stab wounds all over her abdomen. Fuck. This was so messed up. My fiancé was dead and my child saw it all.
I don't know what I was gonna do. Y/N was my everything. I wish I could look into those (e/c) eyes one more time. Tell her that I loved her so much one more time.
"I'll get a funeral set up if you'd like." I nodded. My eyes not leaving the bleeding wounds. I was surprised that they were still bleeding so much.
"Thank you."
"No problem. I'm so sorry again." She put her back in and the left the room, me following.
I found Bandit and carried her home. I had to pull pictures and get an album going. I had to get the perfect pictures for the pamphlet they'd hand out for the funeral.
I had an album out from the first year we were together. Every picture I saw, a memory came back.
It was 8 years ago. I threw a rock at her window. I heard the click of the window opening. "What the hell are you doing? Do you want my dad to chase you with his car again." She laughed a bit at that last part. Her laugh melted me. It was sweet and beautiful, just like her. She held up a finger to her mouth. Then she gave me a 'one minute'. "I'm going to bed!" I heard her yell. Then she came down from her second story window. Jumped down from the roof and met me in her backyard.
"I wanted to ask you something."
She laughed again and my heart melted into a puddle. "You bastard, you're gonna get me grounded. Why couldn't you just email me?"
I held her face in my hands, and placed a kiss onto her lips, waiting for her to respond. She quickly did and then we grew apart when a flashlight landed on us. "Fuck" she laughed. "You better run Way."
I laughed a bit at the flashback. That was our first kiss. I flipped through all the albums of our early years. Then I got to the band albums.
Her voice rang through the stadium as her, her brother and their godfather sang 'Save Rock And Roll' off of Fall Out Boy's new album. The key change came and her and Patrick hit the note together. Elton sat back and then joined in when the chorus came up. She was smiling and enjoying the experience. I loved seeing her happy. It made me feel fuzzy inside, which had never happened before. She leaned back as she sang the final note, extending her lungs so she could hit it. Then she stepped forward with her fellow singers. Then the rest of the band came up and Pete grabbed her ass as a joke. They'd grown up together, so they always did things like this but she glared at him shocked he did it on stage. Then she broke out laughing when we made eye contact.
That one always made me happy. Then one hit me really hard.
She climbed onto the stage away from me, trying to pull down her leather skirt to not show her ass to the entire stadium. Tyler threw her a mic and they started to sing an acapella version of Cancer, which was one of my original songs. I got teary eyed as she kept eye contact with me the entire time. She was crying but trying to keep composure to keep singing on key. She finished the song and then broke down. The she came back offstage and hugged me telling me that she loved me.
Tears formed in my eyes, rolling down my cheeks. Bandit came in and crawled onto the bed with some difficulty. "Daddy, do you want me to sleep in here with you tonight, I think you could use the friend?" She asked, holding her teddy bear. I nodded picking her up to set her in my lap.
"Let's look at some pictures honey."
--------------------
It was the day of the funeral and I had to hire Steve to watch Bandit the entire time, as I had to be up with the preacher. A lot of people showed up. My side of the family along with Frank's and Pete's. She grew up with both of them so they only felt necessary to tell their families. Her family was there too, everyone in the church a mess. I felt sobs coming over me and the minister told me I could take over and told Mikey, Frank and Ray to come up. We were going to play one of her favorite songs that was almost to perfect for this.

*Your POV*
I heard his voice, it filled the room that I wasn't visible in. He was a total mess, tears streaming down his face, causing his voice to seem pitchy, but still beautiful as he sang 'Helena'. It was one of my favorites so far. It was a little inappropriate for this situation, but I had requested it when I first heard it. I never thought I'd hear it this soon.
I looked over the pews as I walked down the isle, recognizing almost every face in this place. Frank's mom, Pete's mom and my mom all were sat by each other. Gerard's family were all by each other. Everyone was crying. I looked to see Gerard and the rest of the band all a mess while trying to play the song. I sat down in front of the stage on the floor. My casket in front of me, the band I loved next to it. The end of the song came and they ended, Gerard falling to his knees at the end, sobs coming through his whole body. I stood up and walked over to him. I put my invisible hand on his cheek. It was like he saw me because he raised his head and looked at me, but I knew he didn't because he stood up and put the microphone back, walking over to help with my casket.
They carried it outside down steps to the hearse. Gerard took one last look as he shut the door. I sat in the railing and watched them all pull away, me soon to follow.
