Bryce POV
     The world was in depression from a war that had taken thousands of lives and were still taking more.  It was a horrific time and the country I lived in was invaded by the enemy.  Soldiers stood on every street watching the civilians do their everyday things.  I was walking the way I always went to get to and from work.  I walked past the soldier that always stood at this street.  He was tall and muscular with brown hair and brown eyes.  If he was not a soldier of the enemy I would probably talk to him but I didn't dare.  His kind killed many with no remorse and takes whatever they want.  They are truly monsters of humanity.  As I walked past him, his eyes followed me and I started to go faster. I finally got far enough away from him that I could no longer see him.  I sighed in relief and went to work. 
Timeskip after work
     I finished work at the time I do everyday and started to head home.  I was walking the same way I did everyday past the brown haired soldier.  I was coming up to wear he stands and I was looking straight at the ground.  I was silently praying that he wouldn't notice me but they were unheard. 
     "Hey you walked past me this morning didn't you?" He asked stepping in front of me.  I stopped and didn't look up at him.  I nodded nervously as an answer.  "Well you dropped this."  He handed me a phone with a dark purple case.  I turned on the phone and saw my cute cat's face staring at me.
      "Thank you," I said happily.  I finally looked up at him and he was smiling at me.  I was entranced you his eyes and I couldn't seem to break from his gaze.  "I'm Bryce by the way." I rubbed the back of my neck as heat rose to my face. 
     "It's nice to meet you Bryce I'm Ryan."  He put his hand in front of me and smiled brightly.  I smiled back at him and shook his hand.  "Have a nice day and I hope to see you again sometime soon but I must get back to work."
      "I hope to see you soon as well." I started to walk down the street again towards my house.  When I got there I went on my phone to see if he changed anything.  He did but it wasn't hard to tell what it was since the app was still open.  There in my contacts was a Ryan;) and a picture of his beautiful face.  I smiled and opened my texting app.  I quickly sent him a hello and within a couple seconds got a reply.  I started to talk to him about more stuff and I lost track of time.  When I looked at the time I saw it was already ten o'clock at night and I had work tomorrow.  I texted a quick goodnight and headed for bed.  Right as I was getting into bed I got a text from Ryan telling me goodnight.  I hope I'll see Ryan tomorrow on my way to work.  I misjudged who he was and I'll try to never do that again.  I thought of him as a monster without even knowing him. I feel disappointed in myself and I will apologize to him next time I see him.  With all those thoughts going through my head I layed in my bed and fell asleep with a grin on my face.
