Gacha Tips

These are just some of my tips for ppl who want to know how to make colors look better together, or make character designs and stuff like that.
(!!You do not need to use these tips if you don't want to!!)

(Pulling Off Colors)

One very important aspect of making a character is coloring. Constantly wondering, "does this look good?" or "would this work?" and many other questions. This is why I'm making this chapter, to help those in need with character coloring ✨✨

  (Aesthetic)

It all depends on the type of aesthetic your going for. Cottagecore? I would recommend choosing calm colors, like green, brown, white, or purple. These are just examples. You can pick any other color you want because it's your character. Glitchcore? Rainbow. Just... Lots of rainbows. But also try to make them look decent. Unless you're trying to make them look very messy and unorganized then go ahead.

I decided to do a pastel theme

(Yeah I didn't bother cropping any of the photos-)

Pastel is mainly of light, soft, and comforting colors. I mainly used the colors at the very top of the color list for the shirt, socks, hair, etc.

(This ☝️)

I also used some colors at the bottom list for the skirt and shoes. I didn't want it to be too bright that you could barely see the colors. I was also trying to make it look calm too so-

(Tint)

Ah... Yes, the tint. The tint is where you can put a color over a character to make them fit in with backgrounds, make them look more pleasant to look at, and such.

(the location of where it is)

The tint has many uses, but one of them is helping you with selecting colors easier. It just depends on the color your using for them. I use a hot pink color, which is why so many of my characters almost always have a red color palette. If you're using a red(ish) tint you can just use that one color on almost all of your characters, no matter the color scheme. But as before, it also depends on the amount of tint you use.

Although I think having a heavy tint on a character is very pretty, I have mine kept between 15-20 to keep it tame. But one downside is without the tint, it gives design thiefs a lot more access to your character. All they need to do is get the height, size, adjustments, and color right and they have your character. Which is why I don't like making any characters without it. Especially sense I make videos with them. Not only does it give an elegant look on them, it protects them from those types of people.

(Bc I couldn't think of anything else I'll just end it here-)

But yeah ig. Have some weird ass gacha tips. Bye bye twinks 👋👋❤️❤️❤️❤️
