MY FRIEND ASKED ME TO GO TO A DANCE WITH HER AND HER FRIENDS

her: hey k***! Do you wanna go to a dance with me and (other friend)?

What I say: oh, I'm not sure my mom will let me...

What I think/want to say: DEAR GOSH NO HAVE YOU SEEN HOW SHY I AM WHY WOULD YOU SUGGEST THAT IT WILL BE THE MOST AKWARD THING EVER BUT SERIOUSLY I AM SO FLATTERD YOU THOUGHT TO ASK ME

Then she didn't talk about it for a few days. I thought she forgot about it. But then.....

Her: k***! (Other friend) talked to your mom and she said yes! You can come!

What I said: oh..! That's great! Thanks!

What I thought/wanted to say: WHAT!? WHY MOTHER WHY!! I DOMT WANT TO BE A SOCIAL BUTTERFLY I WANT TO STAY AN UGLY CATIEPILER FOREVER

Sigh.... Well I'm going, no way out of it. Its not that I don't like the people I'd be with, its that I hate crowded rooms with music and no food or places to hide.....
