(Joksuke's P.O.V)

Okuyasu and I were walking to school, like we usually did, he was his normal bright and happy self, I had fallen hard for him, I came to this conclusion a few weeks ago, and I accepted it. When we got to school, we saw Koichi, looked like..Rohan.. Walked him to school, weird, Yukako was watching this, she was fuming!

I walked over, Rohan rolled his eyes at the sight of me and Okuyasu, I greeted Koichi, Okuyasu greeted Koichi and Rohan, Koichi smiled brightly at us and returned our greeting, Rohan scoffed "I'll go home, Koichi, you're coming to my house after school, right?" He asked, Koichi nodded "Of course! I wouldn't break a promise." He said happily, Rohan had a small smile on his face "Good to hear." He said, then turned around and waved as he walked away, Koichi waved back, Okuyasu did too, I waved slightly too.

Koichi looked up at me and Okuyasu "We're gonna be late, so we might not want to waste time out here." I and Okuyasu nodded in agreement, when I got inside, I caught the attention of a lot of girls, they crowded me, I got nervous.

"Hi Josuke~!!l" one girl said happily "H..hey!" I said nervously, trying not to be rude, I caught a glance of Okuyasu, his lips were twisted into a pout as his eyes showed clear anger and a little bit of jealousy, I told the girls that I was trying to hang out with my friends, pointing to Okuyasu and Koichi standing nearby.

Okuyasu looked surprised, I noticed he blushed a little 'how cute' I thought, blushing a little too, the girls left me alone, they understood how important friends were to me, I wrapped my arm around Okuyasu, he blushed a little more but gave me a big, happy grin.

We walked to class, talking about things, Koichi and Okuyasu asking how I get so many girls, to be truthful, I don't even know how, is it because I'm a punk? That isn't it, is it? There's more to me than being a punk, I'm a pretty cool guy, I was honest with them, I shrugged and said what I was thinking "I really don't know why they like me so much, is it because I'm a punk or something? Am I attractive to them?" I couldn't help but pout "There's more to me than that." Okuyasu suddenly said "Yeah! You're really nice!" He sounded so happy, he was so cute, he said it so it made me go red, I couldn't help but smile, it was a silly smile.

Koichi quickly picked up on it and giggled slightly, Okuyasu had not gotten what happened, he tilted his head as he looked at Koichi "What? Did I say something funny?" He asked, I shoved my face in my hands and tried not to squeal, this made Okuyasu more worried, he hugged me "Did I say something wrong? I'm sorry-!" I could hear he was about to cry, I hugged him back and smiled brightly "No, you're cool, it just caught me off guard, I got a little embarrassed, I felt some people look at us." Okuyasu sighed and smiled "Thank goodness." We let go of each other, it wasn't weird for us to hug, when he was sad, we would hug, when I was sad, we would hug.

Transition because I can.

We were sitting in the empty classroom, Koichi was somewhere running from Yukako, it left me and Okuyasu, alone. I was drinking milk, he was staring out the window, I set my carton down and looked at Okuyasu, I stared at him 'Why can't you want me like all the girls do..?' I thought, he noticed me staring and looked at me, in a moment of panic I looked away, he looked really confused "Is there something on my face?" He asked, I shook my head and mumbled "I just spaced out and looked away so it wouldn't seem like I was being weird." He shrugged "Fair enough." He looked back at the window

Josuke was staring at me, I knew he didn't space out, his expression creamed 'Notice me' I blushed a little, was that what he wanted..? Nope! No way! Right?
