So I have some ideas about AUs that I wanted to run by you guys. Tell me if you like the idea of a book like this.

Everyone has a monster under their bed. As a coming of age ceremony, you have to kill your monster, otherwise, you'll be a child forever.
Remus's monster isn't normal. It's not a horrifying, red-eyed demon like James's. It's not a pale, strange man with no nose or hair like Peter's. It's a boy.
A black-haired, grey eyed boy. He introduces himself as Sirius Black.
And Remus isn't sure he can kill him.

Draco and Harry have been best friends since birth, until a horrible war left them as commanders on opposite sides. They don't particularly miss each other. It's more "DRACO YOU ABSOLUTE FERRET YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD NEVER BRING THIS UP AGAIN" and "Harry this isn't going to work, you idiot. You've used this strategy in chess since we were nine, get a new strategy."
