Dragons-

Dragons are currently the dominant species of both Pyrrhia and Pantala. Scavengers once ruled Pyrrhia, but dragons overthrew them in an event known as the Scorching.

Dragons are intelligent, as they are capable of speaking both the dragon and human language, making tools, literacy, and complex thought. Animus dragons, those with the magical power to do almost anything, exist, though they are exceedingly uncommon. Dragons with special powers abnormal for their species, such as flamesilk or firescales, also exist in sparse numbers. Most dragons have tribe-typical powers.

Dragons have long natural lifespans, though they can be killed by injury, illness, and poison, among other causes. The average dragon lifespan is roughly one hundred fifty years, while the oldest a dragon has been known to live without magic before his death is one-hundred-ten years. Dragonets stop growing rapidly at seven years old, and this is considered adulthood or maturity in most tribes. herself considers dragons from four to seven years old teenagers, with seven being approximately fourteen through sixteen in human years.

Jade Mountain Academy-

JMA is an intertribal school located within Jade Mountain and was founded by the dragonets of destiny after the War of Sandwing Succession. The school opened and accepted students from all tribes six months after the end of the war, dividing them into five winglets: the Jade Winglet, the Gold Winglet, the Silver Winglet, the Copper Winglet, and the Quartz Winglet, each of which includes one dragonet from each of the seven dragon tribes of Pyrrhia. With the exclusion of Peril, groups of two or three dragonets from the same winglet will share a sleeping cave, making them clawmates.

The school is located within Jade Mountain, which has fang-shaped twin peaks. The main entrance to the school is on a mountaintop, consisted of a wide ledge. There is only one other entrance, which is located through Stonemover's cave.
