EVERY Fandom I've EVER Been a Part Of

Okay. Since I wanna get to know you guys better, you guys probably wanna know more about me, and it's been like, what, twenty years? (lol) Here's a list of fandoms I've EVER been a part of (I'll try to include everything).

Comment anything we have in common!!!

For a fandom to make this list, I have to have been watching/reading the series for at least a week for it to qualify.

HERE WE GO. Starting from the VERY beginning. (are we going in order? Not sure... Heheh)

- Pokémon (lol): Why is it so easy to know yet SO hard to describe...??? (amourshipping ftw) If you really have no idea what Pokémon is, you're probably better off looking it up. I can't describe it lololol.

- Ninjago: I'm not currently in the fandom, but I once was. It's the Lego version of ninjas, basically.

- Total Drama (Island, Action, and World Tour only): A reality TV show on an island. Pretty funny with pretty relatable characters and, of course, drama.

- Young Justice: Only the greatest animated superhero TV show on the planet about the Justice League's sidekicks. I fell in love with the characters SO easily and even though it's a kid's show, lately, its new season has kinda took a dark and pretty mature turn.

- Teen Titans: The second greatest animated superhero TV show on the planet, similar to Young Justice and definitely NOT Teen Titans Go

- Arrow: A CW TV show about a billionaire playboy Oliver Queen who becomes a vigilante after being stranded on an island for... I forget how many years. I'm not currently watching it, but I used to be a hugeeee fan

- The Flash: Exactly how it sounds. A CW TV show (works hand-in-hand with Arrow and, lately, shows like Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow or Black Lightning) about DC Universe's Barry Allen, Flash. ALSO not currently watching it, but used to be a huge fan and still somewhat am. I follow them on Instagram, so that says enough hahaha

- Maximum Ride: A book series about a group of six teens who were born with bird DNA, including wings. It's the only book series I'd read and it's super intense, funny, and a good read, if I do say so myself. It's originally a book series by James Patterson but has an adapted manga from it. It's still releasing volumes.... I hope. Their manga artist hasn't published in a long time and they keep pushing back the deadline, but the actual novel series is over... Sadly. About a year or two ago, it got a movie adaptation, butttt it wasn't the best hahaha It was good, but it could've been better. You know how book-movie adaptations go.

- Mekakucity Actors: The first anime I've ever watched. It was about five, six, or seven years ago, though, so it's kinda fuzzy in my memory. But it's about a group of teens with different abilities from a red-eyed snake or... Something like that. Not the best gateway anime, but it was pretty good. I liked it a lot

- Miraculous Ladybug: It's a French kids' show, but the whole fandom doesn't care. They're childish superhero tropes, but yet it's SOOO good, I don't know how. Stars two French superheroes, Ladybug and Cat Noir, protecting Paris. There's also a love square between the two main characters, so that's fun hahaha (and lately there've been even more characters, possibly enough to start shipping wars in this fandom, too... Scary)

- Naruto: My first official anime. THIS is a good gateway anime haha. It's an anime about ninja in the ninja world. It's kinda (okay, it's REALLY) long but the arcs are good, the characters are loveable, and it's got me laughing and crying. Yes, both.

- Studio C: This is the "family-friendly" version of Saturday Night Live, but they're SO funny

- Sword Art Online: This is another gateway anime that's pretty good and very straightfoward: trapped in an MMORPG. A video game where op Kirito and Asuna meet and try to fight their way out of the game, because if you die in-game, you die irl

- Durarara!!: An anime that takes place in (real city) Ikebukuro and takes you into the world of gangs and supernatural occurences in the streets. It's kind of complicated to explain, but it's soooo good.

- Boruto: This is the current anime about the ninja children of the characters from Naruto. I'm not really into it as much as I was into Naruto, but I love seeing all the Naruto characters all grown up and seeing them interact with their kids. It's weird yet adorable.

- Ouran High School Host Club: You can't say you're an otaku if you haven't seen Ouran. It's a pretty-boy host club anime. That's all I'm gonna say without any spoilers, because yes, it is possible to spoil even just the first episode (that might even be the biggest spoiler of the entire series...) It's hilarious, light-hearted, adorable, and very sparkly.

- Your Lie in April: This is on the list of anime that will, most assuredly, make you cry. This is an anime about the former pianist, Kousei Arima, who gives up piano after having been known as the piano prodigy at the age of... Of really young, I don't remember how old he was. He was just super young. Then he meets Kaori Miyazono, a violinist who... THAT'S ALL I'M SAYING. You gotta watch this. SOOOO good (coming from someone who plays the violin, ahahhaah)

- Your Name: This is such a beautiful anime (the artwork is literally beautiful) about a boy and girl who go through supernatural events and switch places every day. The music is GORGEOUS (as a musician, the soundtracks in everything are KEY lololol)

- ID-0: My first mech anime and Netflix original, this is basically about a girl who joins with an illegal excavating team of robots in space. Basically. I haven't seen it in a while and it's over, but I just watched it for the sake of the voice actors. Lol (sidenote, most of the English dub I watch is for the sake of the voice actors. I LOVE them. Bryce Papenbrook, Todd Haberkorn, Cherami Leigh, Christina Vee, they're all in there)

- Yuri on Ice!!!: This is your ice skating anime with bunches of pretty boys and an... Adorably un-straight couple.

- A Silent Voice: This is the second anime that made me cry. It's a movie about a girl who's deaf and a boy who used to bully her because she was deaf, and when they grow up, he's having a hard time finding his crowd and a place to belong... Until she comes around. It's very emotional, funny at times, and sooo good.

- Free!: This anime actually kinda changed the course of my senior year. This inspired me to start swimming, ahahahaha so I joined my school's swim team. It's a swimming anime with emotional roller coasters, AMAZING soundtracks, HOT GUYS LOLOLOL, and hilarious episodes. HIGHLY recommend.

- Danganronpa: If you like murder mysteries, THIS is your anime/game. This is originally a computer game on Steam but got adapted into an anime. It's a killing game in which fifteen teenagers of different unique talents are pitted against each other. They're forced to live in the school until someone's murdered. If the killer can get away and not get caught in the "class trial", then they alone can leave the school and everyone else is killed. It's either be killed, kill, or... Yeah, their only options are die, really. SOOO good.

- Toradora!: This is an adorable high school romance anime about a small girl who can beat up a grown man and a boy who looks like he can kill someone but really has the heart of a kitten. The two meet and eventually they confess to each other that they have crushes on each other's best friends. It's a cute anime and is really funny, too.

- Hetalia: I gotta admit, this anime is HILARIOUS and EDUCATIONAL. It's basically all the countries of the world personified and turned into human characters. It's hilariously accurate and pretty good. (lol try to guess the countries in the picture ahahah)

- Gotham: Batman. That's all I gotta say. It's really good and I binged it for a loooong time ahahahaha sad that it's ending, but it makes catching up a whole lot easier

- Food Wars: This is an interesting one. I was only into Food Wars through about the first season? But it's hilarious and the food makes me extremely hungry. The moments when people eat the food, though? Noooooot a huge fan. Lolol

- Soul Eater: This anime is about collecting souls by killing people with corrupted souls. That sounds a bit morbid and terrifying, but it's hilariously brilliant and sooooo good.

- Noragami: This anime portrays gods and Japanese culture when a normal school girl named Hiyori Iki "saves" a god named Yato from a moving truck and they meet for the first time. That's... How it starts, I don't really know how to describe the rest of it. Lolol it's funny, Yato's so hilarious, and you just gotta watch it to find out what happens hahahaah

- My Two-Faced Little Sister: This is the most relatable anime EVER. It's about a girl named Umaru who, when in public, is a perfect, multi-talented, straight-A student. But when she's at home, she's literally the most annoying, obnoxious, loud fangirl. It's HILARIOUS and I feel I'm the most relatable to her.

- Darling in the Franxx: This is my favorite mech anime. We're first shown a technologically advanced world in which there are robots controlled by teens. (I forget terminology, so bear with me). Each robot is controlled by a boy and a girl, and so the anime is about a boy named Hiro who lost his partner and was deemed as hopeless because he couldn't ride the robot. Eventually, he meets a girl with red horns and pink hair named 002, or Zero Two. It's a good anime and the characters are so loveable. It's a bit quick-paced I think, but it's good

- Riverdale: This is a show introduced to me by my friends. It's a CW adaptation of the classic comic, Archie, in a small town where a bunch of paranormal and detective work happens. I'm not current, but my favorite season of it is season 1, where things seemed a bit more... Normal, than it is now...

- Persona 5: This is an anime-styled video game about a boy who's convicted of a crime and is on parole for... For I don't know how long haha. Eventually, he gets this ability to "capture people's hearts" if they're corrupted in some way that makes them do awful things but appear to be normal, kind, or amazing. It's got an awesome style and is really funny.

- My Hero Academia: This is literally one of the greatest animes I've EVER watched. It's about superheroes and the educational course teens with powers or "quirks" go through to become heroes, hence the name "hero academia". It's a story revolving around a quirkless boy named Izuku Midoriya whoooooo... I'm not spoiling anything AHAHAHAHA but if I were to recommend an anime to someone, THIS is the one I'd recommend.

- Voltron Legendary Defender (I claimed I wouldn't....): OKAY. A looooong time ago, a good friend of mine told me about this show in which, she said, was "this hot character named Keith I love him soooo much". She showed me pictures and I was like "oooh yeah he is cute". She told me "he's this emo guy who doesn't really like people that much but he's a good fighter and is sooooo hot". Voltron was a HUGE hit at the time and I was hearing all about it from like, everyone. I swore to myself "I. Will. Not. Watch. This. Show." Welp. Biggest lie of my life. Because now, Voltron has consumed the majority of my life and I fell in love with the characters and ughhhh it's so goooood and I hate and love myself for it. Anyways, run-down: In this Netflix original and adaptation of the original Voltron, a group of teens find a robot and travel to space to save the universe alongside a couple of aliens. I can go on and on about this, but you probably don't want that.

- The Dragon Prince (not currently): So I was into Dragon Prince up until about the moment when Callum and Rayla and them find the dragon, but I wasn't too much into it. I just watched it for the same reason (with the same expectations, too) as Voltron: because it was popular. It's funny and it's pretty good, too. If I had the effort, I'd keep watching it.

- Anohana: Okay, this is the third anime series to make me cry and is also ranked on Top 10 animes that will make you cry. It definitely wasn't wrong. It was probably the most I've ever cried in an anime, movie, or even show in general. A story about a group of childhood friends who grew away from each other. They used to do everything together and have their own little club until a horrible tragedy where they lost one of their members at such a young age happened, and they grew further apart. The weird thing, though, is that even though the girl, Menma, is dead, one of them, Jinta, can still see her when no one else can. The story is basically about how they all come back together and find a way to send Menma to heaven. It's so cute, so sad, and so happy all at the same time. It's brilliant and I highly recommend it if you just need to cry.

- Yona of the Dawn: My current anime obsession atm. This is a historical anime about a princess, Yona, whose... Uh, never mind. SOMETHING happens and she and her best friend (with whom I hardcore ship her with) named Hak leave the kingdom to find the four dragon warriors to protect her and help her defend her country... Oh, along with a "beautiful boy genius" who's basically the mom of the group.... Basically. It's SOOO good and HILARIOUS. It's got a good balance of seriousness, angst, humor, and romance. It was originally a manga but go adapted into an anime. The anime's finished, but the manga's still going (and is satisfying my OTP needs)

I'm sure that's not everything, ahahaha I'm sure I'm missing something. I'll probably come back in about five months to fix it lolol it wouldn't matter.

Anyways, comment what fandoms we have in common!!! I wanna fangirl with you guys all over again!!! 🤣

I HIGHLY recommend ALL these fandoms, it's so hard to choose just one! But if you haven't seen, read, or played any of these, if they interest you, you should watch/read/play them! They're all masterpieces, really!
