Weapons Don't Weep
A/n: I wrote this after finishing my midterm in class and I kinda like it, I hope you do too! This song has a lot to do with the story but I don't know if you can see it fully since the character isn't entirely human, but yeah, enjoy!

Omega/Shade's POV:
"You are a weapon," he hissed. "and weapons don't weep."
"She's just a child! She can't turn back as of now! She cannot fight, she is not a weapon!" Apollo and Hermes yelled.
"I don't care. She is not my daughter, she is my failure."
With that, my father left the room. Tears rolled down my face as I stared at the door, gripping Artemis's hand tighter. Please, please let all of this be a bad dream. I felt the stares of the other Gods in the room all directed at me.
"Papa?" I sobbed. No answer, it was quiet except for my ragged breathing. The door opened again and my mother stepped in. I looked up at her excited, hoping for an apology, a hug, an act of kindness. What I received, instead, was a slap across the face. My mother looked down at me in disgust.
"You are not my daughter." She glared at me with much hatred as she too left the room.
"Lets get you home, Omega." Artemis picked me up and we flashed back into the living room of my home. Everyone was in the room. I heard Artemis talking as I was put on the couch, but it sounded muffled and far away; I couldn't make out anything she said. I saw her flash away and just stared at the ground where she once was.
"Shade?" A soft voice asked, I refused too acknowledge anyone, anything, I just stared at the ground where Artie once stood not long ago. Someone, one of the girls, pulled me into their lap. I continued to stare at the spot on the floor, and new shoes took her place. I looked up for the first time in what felt like hours and saw my "uncle". COP!Alfred looked at me worried and reached for my cheek. I flinched from his touch and buried my face in who I saw was Alice's chest. She rubbed my back soothing;y, like my m-like she used to do when I was this age long ago.
"What happened?"
"...I'm a weapon. I'm a disappointment. I'm everything but my parents' daughter."

A/n:
So I was asked what Artemis said since I left that out, well here it is:
"Omega is going through some tough times so if you can calm down and take care of her instead of the other way around, we, in Olympus, would greatly appreciate it."
