The Alpha Store

A/n: An Omegaverse AU where unwanted alpha/omega/beta children-teens are sold in markets. Anyone can buy any age. It's not rare to see wealthy families with Omega children take them to buy Alphas to be their future mates, or viceversa. Nor to see older people buy young children, but the sellers can only hope the children aren't put in bad situations.

This is UsUk! Wealthy!Younger!Omega!ArthurxSlave!Older!Alpha!Alfred

Dedicated to my friends @Eliotmarch and @gigi7637 for helping me see that life without fangirl buddies is a sad one to live in.

------------------------------------------------------------

No One's POV:

The young Princess of Spades whom was named Arthur, frowned as he was dragged to a "slave farm" by his oldest brother, Alister, one of the Princes of Spades.

"Alister, my eighth birthday isn't until next month, why are you taking me here?" Arthur asked.

"Early present. Besides, they always try to sell old alphas to royals and I don't want you ending up with some perverted fuck of a man at eight. We're gonna find you someone closer to your age." Alister growled. His Omega mother did the same for him and his younger siblings, and now that she was dead, he had to do it for Arthur. They were disguised as merchants in peasant clothes as they entered the building.

"Hello there young man, are you here to buy an alpha, omega, or a beta?" The man at the desk asked, smiling. He was an omega, and had a visible mated mark on his neck. He had short blonde hair and warm violet eyes made Arthur relax a bit.

"We're here to buy an alpha for my lil' omega brother here for his birthday. We're looking for ages around 8-10." Alister said in a professional tone, his alpha scent showing he meant business. There was another alpha to the side who looked intimidating, with blonde hair and glasses. He sent Alister what looked like an annoyed look, which made Arthur quietly snicker. Finally, an alpha who didn't bow for his brother all the time!

"Yes, right this way. Is this your brother? Why don't you let him choose." The first man smiled. He didn't show any threat, but Alister still wanted to go inside too to see who he'd chosen. "Understandable. Right through this door."

Arthur grabbed his brother's hand tightly as they walked through the door into the alpha room. "This hall and this hall hold the ages you requested."

Arthur walked down the first hall, seeing different alphas of different races and ages close to his, but none caught his attention, so he made his way down the second. He was about to lose hope when he spotted an alpha with dazzling blue eyes framed behind glasses. He and the alpha held eye contact for a while, then he found the cage number. 50.

Alister hummed and started dragging Arthur away. Arthur looked up at his brother then back to the alpha, sending him a wave and smiling shyly when he got a wave back.

"Did you choose an alpha, Arthur?" Alister asked.

"Uh huh." Arthur nodded.

"Who did you choose?" The man at the front desk asked.

"Cage 50."

------------------------------------------------------------

Alfred looked up as the door to his cage opened and Mr. Tino walked in. Mr. Tino was a kind caretaker, along with his alpha husband. Alfred aspired to have a relationship like theirs.

"Alfred, it seems you've been bought by a nice young man who was previously in here. They're finishing up the paperwork, so let's go get you ready to leave."

------------------------------------------------------------

"He's nine?!"

"Well you did say ages 8-10." Berwald, Tino's alpha husband shrugged. He did the paperwork.

Alister looked over the information again:

Name: Alfred Foster Jones
Age: Nine
Date of Birth: July 4, 18XX
Rank: Alpha
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue
Height: 55.5 inches (~4'6" feet)
Weight: 79 lbs

"Well if this is the alpha Arthur wants." Alister mumbled. "How much?"

"Well, considering his age, five shillings." Berwald said. Alister raised an eyebrow.

"That's expensive."

"The market is falling a bit, prices are higher."

"Understandable. Here you go." Alister gave Berwald the shillings and turned over to Arthur, who was talking to the omega Tino and Alfred.

"Alfred, this is Arthur. He's turning eight. Arthur, this is Alfred! He's nine but turning ten in July." Tino introduced the kids with a smile.

Arthur hid slightly behind Tino and waved shyly. Alfred smiled and waved back.

"Hi there Arthur! It's nice to meet you!"

"Y-Yeah, you too." Arthur nodded, coming out from behind Tino slightly.

"Arthur, Alfred, let's go. We need to head home now." Alister called the young boys.

Alfred nodded, sticking his hand out for Arthur, which the younger shyly took. Together, the two ran out the door with Alister close behind, giving his thanks to the mated pair.

---Time Skip: 8 years---

Arthur's sixteenth birthday was just around the corner, and Alfred was panicking on what to give him. He and Arthur had been promised to each other since Arthur's eighth birthday and he told him he'd give him an amazing gift on his birthday, one that would top all his other gifts, but he didn't know what to give him.

"Alister what do I do?" The young guard whined. Yup, guard.

Alfred worked his way up the military to get the job of not just being a Royal Guard, but his Princess's royal body guard. Arthur was currently in his study with his tutor which was already surrounded by guards periodically, and it was Alfred's break time too, so he didn't worry about Arthur much (he was still worried though). And he was currently using that break time to whine to his future king about his problems.

"Why don't ya make him somethin' he'll like?" Alister yawned. This was the fifth time that day Alfred whined to him about it, and it wasn't past high noon!

"Perfect!...But what do I make him?" Alfred asked.

"I dunno! Have ya gotten him a ring yet?" Alister asked, actually curious.

"A ring?"

"Are ya daft or somethin'? Alfred, Arthur is turning sixteen, he'll be of age to marry. You would be able to propose to him and plan a wedding, then three months later when you're legal to marry, and you can have your wedding. Not exactly the same month, but ya know what I mean."

And Alfred did in fact know he meant.

While the legal age for an omega to marry and mate someone was 16, even though they usually began experiencing heats around age 11-13 when puberty hits them(Arthur being no exception, having had his first heat age 10[wacky day for the whole castle might I add]), the legal age for alphas is 18, so by then they'd be able to find a job and having a comfortable home for a mate.

"So, I should make a ring?" Alfred mumbled. Considering he had slightly above average skills in crafting, he got limited breaks but each break would last about two hours (five hours total a day actually, six if Arthur was being extra petty about his tutor's assignments) he concluded it may take him around a week to construct a ring, with some help of course. Arthur's birthday was two weeks from that day.

"Knock yourself out Alfred. Now please get out so I can finish my paperwork." Alister sighed.

"Right, right. Sorry Alister."

------------------------------------------------------------

Alfred looked down at the box in his hands and sighed, fiddling with it. He had finished the ring just two days before the party, which was a bit behind his schedule, so he had to rush everything else he had planned for that night.

The plan would go as such:
1. After the party, Alfred would take Arthur to the gardens (Arthur's second favorite place in the castle, first being the library, but proposing in a library isn't really romantic)
2. He and Arthur would eat the small cakes he ordered from the bakery Arthur loved so much
3. Alfred will propose and Arthur will say yes because he loves Alfred too

The servants and Alfred watched as Arthur chatted and danced with party guests. He narrowed his eyes at an alpha duke who was eyeing Arthur disrespectfully and hungrily. He put the box back into his pocket and walked over to Arthur as the omega beckoned him over.

"Your Highness, you summoned me?" Alfred bowed respectfully.

"Please Alfred, no need for that." Arthur smiled, and Alfred rose. He saw Arthur was talking to a group of dukes and counts, most alphas, but some betas as well. "Gentlemen, this is my promised, Alfred."

They looked as if they were trying to size him up, despite Alfred being taller. He mentally smirked.

"If I may ask, what house does he belong to? To have worked up to guard from nothing is unheard of, after all." One duke chided. Arthur grabbed Alfred's hand.

"Alfred was bought for me, actually. Long ago. He did work up from nothing to be the man he is, something I can't say relates to the rest of you." Arthur shot. The dukes and counts looked taken aback.

"Your Highness," Alfred started. "if I may escort you away? Your brother requires your presence."

"Let's go then." Arthur started walking away, not giving the other so much as a passing glance as he left. Alfred let himself smile.

------------------------------------------------------------

"Alfred, where are going?" Arthur asked.

It was time for Alfred's plan to play out. He was taking Arthur to the garden, but Arthur was blindfolded.

"It's a surprise." Alfred kissed his lips lightly and Arthur smiled.

"Okay, we're here." Alfred unblindfolded Arthur, and Arthur gasped.

"Oh, Alfred."

The garden was decorated with fairy lights, the tree in the middle with the most, giving off a blue light. The gazebo was decorated with lights too, and there was a blue, checkered blanket folded on one of the chairs for what Arthur assumed was star gazing in the later evening, and he saw a plate of cakes and tea on the table. Arthur smiled as Alfred wrapped his arms around the younger's waist, planting a kiss on his cheek and resting his chin on his shoulder.

"Happy Birthday, my princess."

Arthur giggled and pulled Alfred towards the gazebo to sit and eat the cakes. After a small cake fight, which Alfred started by smashing his last cake into Arthur's face, to which the latter retaliated and smashed one in his, and cleaning up their faces with napkins generously left by the servants, Alfred and Arthur were lying on the blanket, looking at the sky.

"And that clump of stars is Taurus, your sign." Alfred pointed at the sky, and Arthur nodded. He had studied astronomy for the longest time. "And over there, which can barely be seen, is Cancer, my sign."

"Yours, huh?" Arthur mumbled. Alfred nodded. He sighed and snuggled closer.

"Uh, Arthur, I need to ask you something." Alfred swallowed. Arthur looked over at Alfred cutely.

"What is it?"

"Can I see the mark?"

They were in heavy silence for a while, then Arthur sighed.

"Alfred, you know it wasn't your fault. You weren't in control." Arthur frowned.

"I know, I just, I wanna see it." Alfred gave Arthur a kiss.

Arthur nodded and started taking off his coat and unbuttoning his shirt. Alfred swallowed when Arthur turned his back to him and revealed his neck. There, on the junction where the neck meets the back, is a mark. A mating mark. Alfred's mark.

Alfred ran a finger over the mark and Arthur shuddered. Alfred immediately pulled back, remembering how sensitive it was. He frowned and rested his forehead on the younger's shoulder.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry Arthur. You probably would've wanted that after our marriage but I screwed up and I'm sorry."

"Alfred-"

"But I want to make up for it now."

Alfred got on one knee as Arthur turned around to ask him what he meant.  Alfred got the ring he worked so hard on and showed it to Arthur, who covered his mouth with his hands. He still hadn't fixed his shirt, which made it a bit awkward for his arms.

"Arthur, I have no knowledge of any words good enough to describe how much I love you. Nor how much I want to be by your side. But moons above Arthur, I can promise you that with all my heart and all  my soul I will love you and do all I can to keep you in love with me. Arthur, will you marry me?"

Arthur covered his face with his hands but still nodded. He removed his hands and Alfred saw the tears rolling down his face as he smiled. Alfred put the ring on Arthur's ring finger and leaned in to kiss him.

The two heard a silent whoop behind them and they broke off the kiss to see Arthur's elder and alpha brothers. Alister walked over to Alfred and put an arm around his shoulders as Dylan, the older twin Seamas, and the younger twin Connor, hugged Arthur and congratulated him.

"Listen here Alfred, we love ya, we do, but if you ever hurt Arthur we will kill ya." Alister smiled darkly.

"Every tear fallen is another stab." Dylan brought up.

"If I ever hurt Arthur, I'll let you kill me." Alfred said seriously.

Arthur rolled his eyes as the twins helped him fix up his shirt and gave him a sex talk.

"Remember to use condoms." Seamas instructed, buttoning up his shirt.

"No little Alfreds or Arthurs running around here early." Connor nodded as he fixed Arthur's tie.

"You can start having kids age 90."

"No Seamas, too early. Age 100."

"Both of you are full of shit, knock it off." Arthur laughed.

"Fine." The twins pouted and finished their work.

Alfred walked over to Arthur and kissed him lightly. "We should have a winter wedding."

"Yeah, that sounds nice."

------------------------------------------------------------

Alfred had a restless sleep.

Alister let Arthur share his room with him for the night, but the alpha couldn't sleep. He stared at Arthur's bare back, at the mark that haunted him. The alpha sighed and spooned his omega, burying his face in his shoulder.

"Alfred?" Arthur yawned. The omega turned to face his alpha, looking up at the clouded blue eyes.

"Did I wake you?" Alfred nuzzled his face in his fiance's hair.

"Uh, no." Arthur swallowed a lump in his throat. Alfred frowned and brushed his mate's hair from his eyes.

"Arthur, what's wrong?"

"I think my heat started."

Alfred stared at Arthur for a few minutes until the omega burst out laughing. He sat up and clutched his sides, laughing as the alpha pouted.

"You, your face!" The omega giggled. "You looked so scared!"

The omega almost rolled off the bed, but his alpha was quick to rescue him and hold him tightly. "You're mean, Artie."

------------------------------------------------------------

Three years earlier:

Alfred paced around in front of Arthur's bedroom door. The omega hadn't come out all day and the young trainee was worried for his friend.

He already knocked but hadn't received a 'come in' or 'go away'. Worry built up inside him more. The fifteen year old was too scared of something bad having happened to think rationally.

"Fuck it!" The male huffed and stormed into the room, closing the door behind him.

"Arthur! I came to...check on...you."

Alfred and Arthur were both frozen where they were. Arthur pulled the sheets to cover him, blushing madly. Alfred took a small whiff and the intoxicating omega scent in heat hit him like a carriage.

Alfred stumbled forward, instinct controlling him more than he'd wanted.

"Alfred, what-"

Arthur was cut off by Alfred climbing over him and kissing him roughly. He squeaked as Alfred devoured his mouth. The thirteen year old was confused and new to the sensation. Alfred pulled away for air and started kissing the omega's neck.

"Alfred wait! Stop!" Arthur whined, pushing him back. Alfred didn't stop. He couldn't. He tried to but he just couldn't.

An overwhelming rush of power seized the young alpha and he bit the junction where the neck met the younger's left shoulder and bit it. He marked him. He marked the omega, claiming him as his mate. Arthur cried out and pushed the alpha off of him, successfully making him fall out of the nest.

Alfred stared at Arthur, who looked back at him with wide, terrified eyes. He looked at the mark and winced when he saw blood. The metallic taste in his mouth made him reach up to touch his lip. He wiped at it and saw blood: Arthur's blood.

"Arthur, I..." the alpha looked up at his sobbing omega friend and backed away. Shame built up in his chest. "I'm sorry. I didn't, I wasn't trying to...Oh Spades I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."

Alfred ran out of the omega's room, past a beta maid who was going in to check on him. He just made an irreversible mistake, one that Arthur was sure to never forgive him for, and there was no way he'd be able to make it up.

------------------------------------------------------------

Present:

It was the day of the wedding. Arthur was a small wreck. The sixteen year old was trying to find it in himself to hate the dress he was wearing but couldn't. It was one he chose and asked for. After all, it's a Spadian tradition that royal omega princesses, despite gender, should wear dresses to their weddings!

His dress was a light blue color with a line tulle and a sweetheart neckline with a beaded boned bodice. The sweetheart neckline he disagreed to at first, but after his designer pointed out to him he did in fact have breasts (as all omega males begin to grow during puberty for milk production for future children) he agreed to have it, although he still didn't like it all that much.

Though now as he looked at himself, he saw his designer made the right move. The padding in the neckline made his breasts look bigger, almost like a push-up bra. The flower designs on the tulle had green-blue and sky blue flowers, almost as if contrasting with his and his groom's eyes. He was wearing a crown with his veil and had lapis lazuli colored flowers in his bouquet.

His father smiled at him as they waited by the entrance of the church. The old alpha always liked Alfred and deemed him a worthy mate for his son the moment he saw him pick up the eight year old princess and run away from a spider the size of a pinkie all because Arthur didn't like spiders.

"You look beautiful, Arthur." His father's eyes shone with unshed tears. "Just like your mother the day we got married."

Arthur smiled back at his father, tears in his own eyes. "Thank you, Father."

The king reached into his pocket and pulled out a necklace. It had a long golden chain and hanging off of it was an omega sign with little emeralds encrusted into it.

"It was your mothers. She wore it at our wedding and she wanted our oldest omega child to wear it at theirs. As our only omega child, I am proud to pass this onto you."

Arthur let loose a small sob and smiled as his father put the necklace around his neck. "Thank you Father."

------------------------------------------------------------

During the ceremony, Alfred couldn't stop smiling. His omega, his mate, his best friend was going to marry him. When Arthur started walking down the isle, he wasn't ashamed to let a few tears fall. Arthur looked so beautiful in his dress. He just couldn't believe it was really happening.

Most of the wedding went by in a blur, too distracted by looking at his beautiful mate, but somehow still paying attention.

"Do you, Alfred, take Arthur to be your woefully wedded omega?"

"I do."

"And do you, Arthur, take Alfred to be your woefully wedded alpha?"

"I do."

"By the power vested in me from the love of the moon above, I now pronounce you alpha and omega, to forever stay bonded shall you be. You may now kiss your spouse." The priest smiled.

Alfred smiled down at his omega and cupped his face in his hand, leaning down to give him a kiss. The church cheered and Arthur laughed when Alfred started running down the isle with him in tow. They entered a carriage that was going to take them to another carriage (that one going to be taken by Alfred) for them to go to their honeymoon. Before they left, Arthur threw back his bouquet and unmarried omegas of all ages went for their chance to grab it. (It was won by Alister's omega, who blushed darkly and swatted him away)

"Well we did it, we're married." Alfred breathed from his seat next to his beautiful omega.

"Yeah." The younger blond snuggled up to his new mate, playing with his hands, smiling at the ring we wore.

"20."

"What?"

"20, that's when we should have kids. When you turn 20, puberty is basically over for you. And I'll have made a wonderful, stable life for us by then, with a big home with lots of room for our little ones to play around. What do you say?" Alfred smiled down at him.

Arthur leaned back to look up at the alpha. "Sounds perfect." He gave him his own smile.

------------------------------------------------------------

Sadly, things didn't turn out that way. Two years after their wedding, a war broke out between Clubs and Spades. Arthur's brothers and father died in battle. After their death, he and Alfred were declared King and Queen, being the last living royals in the Kirkland, now Jones-Kirkland, line. Their coronation was world known, and they worked hard to end the war. They eventually did with the old Clubs king dying and his son taking over for him. His son, named Ivan, was kinder than his cold harded (and abusive) father and was quick to apologize for his father's actions. He and his kingdom send thousands of flowers every year to commemorate the fallen soldiers on both sides of the war on the day the war officially ended, marking it as a holiday in the two countries known as "Day of the Flower Soldiers".

------------------------------------------------------------

Arthur and Alfred did eventually have children: two boys and a girl.

Their boys-twins-were named George and Oliver. George had the same hair style as his father but color as his mother and his mother's green eyes. He is also the older twin and an alpha. Oliver had the same hairstyle as his mother and also his hair color, but his eyes were the same blue as his father's, but sometimes looked lighter when it was colder. He is the younger twin and an omega. Both had freckles like their mother, and while George had his father's tan skin, Oliver kept his mother's pasty skin color, and had freckles all over his body.

Their daughter was named Beverly after Arthur's mother. She had her mother's messy hair but her father's hair color. She was born three years after her brothers. (Literally. They all have the same birthday. Which is the day after Arthur and Alfred's wedding anniversary. Irony? Probably.) What struck the family as odd was that three months after she was born, on of her originally blue (like her father's) eyes turned green (like her mother's) and never changed back. Beverly had lightly tanned skin and no freckles. She was born an omega, surprisingly.

Arthur and Alfred ruled the Kingdom and had three beautiful kids, what else was there to live for? After all, it all started with an Alpha Store.

The End

------------------------------------------------------------

Epilogue: Oliver's First Date

Oliver took in a deep breath to calm himself before stepping out into the gardens where Allen said to meet him.

Oliver was just 15 and going on his first official date with Allen, the alpha his mother gifted him with on his eighth birthday. He and Allen grew close as they got older and the alpha had officially asked him out three days prior. The omega could only nod.

As of then, Allen was going to meet him in the gardens for their date. Oliver stepped through the rows and rows of rose bushes and trees containing fruit, looking around for his sometimes cheery alpha. He hummed a tune to himself as he passed by the gazebo his mother told him was the location where his father proposed and glanced inside it, the memory flashing through his mind. He stopped when he saw Allen standing in it, pacing and mumbling something.

"Allen?"

The alpha jumped and quickly looked over to the younger omega. "Oliver, you're here. Great! Uh, come sit down." The brunette male guided the light blonde to a table and onto a chair. He pushed him in and set a plate in front of him. It has a sandwich, a few cookies, and a cup of orange juice.

"It's not anything fancy," The alpha sat across, his own matching plate there as he looked embarrassed. "but, I made everything myself. The sandwich, the cookies, even the juice! I hope you like it."

Oliver giggled. "It's perfect, thank you."

Little did Oliver know, his older twin, his twin's omega, his little sister, and his sister's alpha were all spying on their date. The royal sibling(s) glared at the brunette alpha. They liked him, of course they did, they practically grew up with him, but t(he)y didn't like how he just made a date out of nowhere without their (*cough*George's*cough*) permission!

"Honestly, I could've given him advice! And a place to take Oliver!" George huffed. His omega, Amber, just laughed at him.

"He wanted to be a surprise! Maybe he was so caught up in asking him out, he forgot to get your permission."

"Yeah, and he got Dad's permission anyways. Shut up and just watch what he does." Beverly hissed.

The date went good, nothing inappropriate happened. George got over the whole "permission" thing and just watched.

"He's got good moves." Henry, Beverly's alpha, hummed.

"Too good, maybe Dad taught him." George glared.

Oliver and Allen seemed to be having a good time. Allen said a joke or something, making Oliver laugh. The bell tower struck three in the afternoon and the two got up, cleaning up their little picnic. Allen held his arm out and Oliver happily took it. They started walking towards the castle and towards the spying group. They tumbled to get into the bushes, but instead fell out of them.

Beverly huffed and looked up at Henry with a glare. "I'm 11, not 9. I can run if I want to."

"Beverly you tripped." Henry sighed. He went over to her side and put her on his back.

"I told you she was gonna trip." George hummed. Amber rolled her (ironically) amber eyes at the alpha.

"You tripped her, I saw you."

"Oh Georgie I'm gonna tell Mama!" Beverly snickered.

They looked over at Oliver and Allen as they appeared in the pathway and tried to play it cool.

"Hey Allen, hey Oliver! How did the date go?" Amanda waved.

"What?" Allen blinked.

"Dad told Mom that you asked his permission to ask Oliver our on a date and we heard when he told Mom." George explained.

"It was good, great. Yeah, really great." Oliver smiled, looking over at Allen.

Allen blushed.

Unknown to the six of them, Arthur and Alfred were watching from their balcony.

"You gave him the ring, didn't you?" Arthur hummed as Alfred nuzzled his face in his neck.

"No, I gave George the ring. I gave Allen the necklace. And Beverly gets the bracelet when she's old enough." Alfred kissed his mate's cheek then down his neck as his hands traveled southward.

"Really Alfred? Now?" Arthur hissed.

"What? I can't help it, I have a gorgeous mate." Alfred smirked.

"May I remind you we have a kingdom to run-though spying on our kids is fun. We need to go Alfred." Arthur pushed Alfred towards the door.

"Can we have fun later?" Alfred whined.

"If you behave." Arthur smiled.

"Yay!"
