For the sake of this thing, Fem!England's name is Artemis even though I know most people use Alice or Rose/Rosa. Everything will be explained throughout the one-shot! Also human!AU i guess??? Oh, and quick backstory:

-Artemis is the friend of Romano, Italy, Canada, and a few others while the ones they're dating (Spain, Germany, Prussia, etc.) have never met Artemis and will only just meet her in this
-Artemis has boy-short hair because her brothers joked around with her straightener and ruined her hair, thus she cut it, making her look like a dude (and she also has small...boing-boings)
-Even though Canada is friends with Artemis, America has never met her because they (she and her friends) met in a cooking class over the summer and found out she was going to the same school as them

Lovino and Feliciano waited outside the school gates for someone.

It wasn't their boyfriends, who were already at the school and waiting with them. No, the person they were waiting for is a special friend.

"Who are we waiting for, again?" Lovino's Spanish boyfriend, Antonio, asked.

"Our friend from the cooking class." Lovino responded, looking up and down the road for this person.

"What's their name?" Ludwig asked. He was Feliciano's German boyfriend.

"Ve~we say Artie, but it's just a nickname." Feliciano smiled lazily.

"Lovino! Feliciano!" A voice called.

They looked up the road and saw someone walking towards them. They wore a band shirt, with a blue sweater over their shoulders, jeans, and boots. Their hairstyle was messy,making it look like they just got out of bed.

"Artie!" The two brothers ran up to the person and hugged them, making them laugh.

"So this is that Artie dude." Antonio hummed to Ludwig, who nodded. "He seems nice."

They couldn't hear the current conversation between the three, but seemed to be about 'Artie's hair because he pouted and ran his hand through it, seemingly trying to fix it.

They talked more and finally walked back over to the two males left behind.

"Artie, this is Antonio and that's Ludwig." Feliciano introduced.

"Nice to finally meet you, I've heard great things about you both." Artie smiled and shook their hands. His voice was a bit high for a male, but they weren't bothered by it.

"You too." The males responded.

It seemed at least one person from each couple knew who Artie was. It was no surprise the ones that knew him all went to the cooking class and not the boyfriends.

Elizabeta ran her hands through his hair one passing period that first day, looking a bit sad as the two whispered to each other. Roderich trusted her with everything, so when people started to accuse Eliza of cheating on the first day, he gave them a glare and it shut them up immediately. (And besides, he knew Artie for who they were, there was no need for him to be jealous of their friendship)

The most excited to see Artie were definitely Elizabeta, Matthew, Kiku, Lovino, Vladimir, and Lukas. They had bonded with him the most it seemed. Feliks was seen in the group too, but he would leave after a while.

It was safe to say their boyfriends-except Roderich-were jealous of the attention Artie was getting. Alfred, Matthew's brother, was too. He had a small crush on the other, but wasn't entirely ready to accept it.

Gilbert, Matthew's boyfriend and Ludwig's older brother, huffed as Matthew played his Artie's hair.

"He doesn't play with my hair." He mumbled.

Artie had two pins in his hair to keep his bangs out of his way, making him look like a girl. And it was cute. That infuriated them more.

"What does Artie have that I don't?" Antonio growled under his breath. Lovi was never this lovie-dovie with him!

"Oh hey guys, we're having a party at my house if you want to go." Artie smiled.

"Yes!" The friends immediately yelled. He looked over at the boyfriends, seemingly waiting for their response.

"It sounds cool." Alfred shrugged. Artie smiled, and a small blush was on his face.

"Great. I'll text the address."

 Somehow, Artie wearing a dress was now the most eye-opening thing that has happened.

"This makes so much sense." They all seemed to be saying when Artie walked up to them.

"Hey guys! You made it!" Artie waved and gave Eliza a hug.

"Artemis! Your dress is so cute!" Eliza cooed.

"Thanks."

"Your name is Artemis?" Alfred asked.

"Ah yeah, should've told you sooner, then maybe you wouldn't have thought I was a guy." She shrugged.

"Pfft."

"What???"

"No."

"Never!"

"We really did." Mathias nodded.

They glared at him. "What? We did."

Artemis nodded. "I could tell. Well come in, some of my friends from my previous school are here too, but they're nice so you guys should be fine!"
