so i dressed up as the grim reaper, right? I let my mom smush gray face paint all over my face and put black lipstick on my mouth, eyelids (idk why but it worked), and did streaks of it on my cheekbones so I looked even creepier. I had a realistic-looking scythe as tall as I was and everything.

I was unrecognizable.

There was so much I could do with this costume.

Here's what I did in chronological order:

At the park, where they were doing something for halloween

1. Ran into an old friend. She didn't recognize me for a while and I stared at her creepily for quite some time.

2. Stood still in the middle of the empty field, barely even moving my head, staring at anybody who even glanced in my way

- A group of kids with their mom walked over to me and were questioning if I were alive. I then turned my head and smiled at them creepily. The mom laughed while the kids just looked freaked out. The mom asked to take a picture of me, so I stood still, not saying anything, before finally cracking up and running away to go laugh my guts out in peace

- Some teenage girls older than me were running towards me and past me. I saw one look at me from the corner of my eye and turned around to stare at her, too. She shrieked, probably playfully but you never know, and ran over to her friends. I stared at them with a straight face, listening to them screeching as well.

- Multiple little kids like three years old pointed me out to their parents from afar, actually pointing at me. I hoped the parents wouldn't come over to investigate.

3. I was walking toward a mom, dad, and little kid. The mom said to her kid, "Watch out, the grim reaper's gonna get you," while looking at me. I passed them, but the kid looked at me, so while I passed her, I just stared at her.

Trick-or-treating

4.  Someone had a trailer and was dressed as a very creepy clown. He was staring at my siblings, and then at me, so I stared back.

5. (this part's my favorite) My siblings and I got to the house of this girl I really hate. She was sitting on a chair in front pf her doorstep, a basket of candy beside her, wearing a creepy mask while ominous music played in the background. I walked up to her and stared back. My siblings grabbed candy and walked away during our stare-off.

Here's the thing: I only know her because we had gym class together last year. I remember her, she does not remember me. Even if she did remember me, my face was painted and I had a veil covering it so nobody could see who I was. In a deep voice I said her name, and she got confused and pulled off her mask. She asked who I was, but someone else came over to get candy, so I just remained silent and walked away.

6. There was this group of guys in my grade, right? They're the goofballs that love fortnite and get detention all the time. So they saw me and thought I was a grim reaper from fortnite or something and asked me to do the floss, demonstrating for me in case I didn't know how. One of them said, "If you chase me, I will run." So, naturally, I started walking towards them quickly, holding my scythe out in front of me. They did indeed run.

So, I managed to creep out teenagers older than I was, a girl I hate, little kids, even younger kids, a police officer, and an old man, who just looked at me and then looked away, muttering something under his breath.
