This young chappie is Carstairs, a Womble who was born in London, and found his way to Wimbledon Common, where he now lives with the resident Wombles of the park.
Having read many Sherlock Holmes books, Carstairs has taken inspiration, and strives to be a Womble detective. He likes to apply logic and deduction to everyday chores, and gets along well with the shortest Womble in the burrow, Wellington.
