Hazbin Hotel OC
Name: He's merely know as Caliostro, The Count, or The Sorcerer, or The Shadow Demon. He doesn't mind being referred to with titles, but he can't abide inane nicknames. Call him Cali, and he will verbally obliterate you
Age: Nobody knows his actual age, only he. However, by appearance, he seems to be around eighteen or so, so one can accurately state that he died during his late teenager years, or even early twenties
Sexuality: Asexual, most certainly, regarding sex. The thought disgusts him. However, regarding romance, he may be bisexual, as he doesn't really care whatever the gender if the relationship is loving, firm, and infinite. However, he states that love is overrated, and tends to lead to death or grief rather than joy
Gender: He identifies as male
Species: Upon earth, Caliostro was a strange hybrid of two creatures. His mother was a vampire, his father a winter entity. Upon earth, Caliostro appeared much more human due to his mother's vampire blood, yet he shared the animalistic traits his father possessed, such as tufts of hair which resembled ears, and unnaturally long legs, a forked tongue, the ability to purr, and enhanced senses. Within Hell, however, Caliostro adopted more animalistic traits, until the majority of his previous human characteristics became utterly unrecognisable. He does not truly resemble a winter entity, or a vampire...So he refers to himself as an Enigma Entity
Cause of death: He was shot in the lung
Reason for being in Hell: He killed somebody, and Heaven was full
Powers: He has vampiric powers, inherited from his mother. Caliostro can manipulate shadows, and turn them into solid matter also. He can teleport through shadows, and create shadows. He's also able to summon dark matter. His speed and agility is also very much enhanced. As for the winter entity blood within him, that allows him to create and manipulate ice and snow, lower the temperature in the vicinity round him, and by the mere touch of his staff, it's able to turn whatever it touches into ice. However, this particularly strains Caliostro, and he must have his staff upon his person. Due to having vampire genetics and blood, after supping blood, Caliostro's powers are considerably enhanced. If the blood is fresh, his powers will be stronger than if he drinks stale blood. He's also able to control his vital signs, like lower the tempo of his heartbeat. Due to possessing both winter entity blood, and vampire blood, Caliostro can bind his ice and shadows together. Within Hell, he is always learning new magic, and can now create portals, though it really exhausts him
Demonic form: His demonic form is a wendigo-like creature. Upon entering his demonic form, Caliostro's ribs become more prominent, his antlers elongate with sharp prongs, and he stands upon all fours like a feral, maniacal, murderous deer. His claws elongate into needle-sharp nails, and he grows fangs in order to bite and drink blood. As this demonic creature, Caliostro loses his morality, and becomes a beast. He transforms into a creature with animalistic intentions, and will eat the flesh of his victims. However, this isn't really his demonic form. It is more of a condition. Due to being a hybrid between a winter entity and vampire, Caliostro suffers from this condition
Appearance: He's some sort of entity, not resembling any animal known to man, and he certainly doesn't look human either. Some say that his colouring is similar to that of a Siamese cat, whilst others claim that he looks like a deer, and some even speculate that his physique and hind legs resemble those of a kangaroo or Jerboa. He's a strange hotchpotch of different animals, cast into one body. Caliostro has a thin physique, the majority of his short fur a lightish grey, or silverish colour. His face, when viewed up-front, looks triangular, yet he actually has a muzzle which is slightly longer than the muzzle of a cat. However, his muzzle is not canine. It is in the middle of feline and canine. He has tufts of fur upon his cheeks, and tufts of long fur upon his head which looks like hair. Protruding from his head are two long ears which are very fluffy and tufty, the texture resembling cotton. He also has small antlers. The front of his face is a dark grey colour, resembling the facial marking of a Siamese cat. His torso is quite short, with narrow shoulders, and a white splash of very fluffy fur upon his lean chest. His legs are animalistic, thighs grey, legs very long, slender, and black. He has a vulpine tail, with a black tail-tip which fades into dark grey, then a lighter grey. His arms are long and slender, the bottom half black, whilst he has furry tufts upon his elbows. He has paws, with retractable claws
Personality: Caliostro is a reserved and withdrawn being who loathes crowds, and can find people, in general, to be very irritating. Quite a few particular things irk him, so he can, at times, have a short temper. When he's angry, good god he's angry. He will either obliterate everything with criticisms, or use his powers to teach the offender a lesson. However, he refrains from killing, and even sometimes seems hesitant to maim or hurt others. Though an overlord, Caliostro doesn't enjoy creating turf wars, and will quickly see to anybody who attempts to challenge him. He gets particularly pissed with repeat offenders. Caliostro can be quite arrogant, though this tends to be a form of entertainment, or a way to repress his self consciousness and fluctuating lack of self confidence. He's intelligent and witty, loves to read, and create poetry. He enjoys using long words, and is an intellectual. He's analytical, usually unconventional, and not a conformist. Caliostro has a morbid fascination for torture and diseases. He's still discovering new things about himself, for traits within a personality can change. Though generally appearing quite solemn and calm, Caliostro does possess a manic side, and can be easily excited and enthusiastic. When happy, he loves to hum, and sometimes sing under his breath. He's quite a good singer. He also has a slight habit of winding people up, just to see their reactions. He also loathes weakness, and hates displaying weakness, and will only display weakness when alone. He has no issues displaying righteous anger, however. He's quite curious, and enjoys gaining new knowledge. He's also skilled at pretence, lying, and manipulation
Likes: His likes his required times of solitude, chocolate, toffee and fudge. He loves reading, creating poetry, humming, writing, and singing. He enjoys learning about morbid things, such as torture or psychopathology. He likes discovering things about the modern eras after his time. He likes justice
Dislikes: He loathes crowds, crying babies, and uninitiated physical contact. He hates escalators as he fears he will lose his balance upon them, and he doesn't like steep stairs either. He loathes displaying weakness, as it humiliates him. He loathes being controlled, abhors being told what to do usually, and hates unwanted chaos
Backstory: He was born to a winter entity and a vampire on earth. His father was a renowned winter entity, with wealth and status. However, a disaster occurred, and his father lost his wealth and status, and consequently their home, and a lot of respect.
Then Caliostro's mother left his father, and things descended into sheer and utter chaos.
At an older age, Caliostro left his father, to travel the world as a sorcerer, for he possessed the ability to manipulate magic. After a short time, Caliostro became renowned, and fell in love with a maid who served him.
However, somebody else loved the same maid also, and in a fit of rage, that somebody killed the maid to make sure she would never love anyone else. Infuriated, Caliostro murdered the man in cold blood.
Consequences arose.
Then, months after, the murdered man's brother pursued Caliostro. Caliostro was shot in the lung by the brother, and died amidst his small group of friends and servants.
After death, Caliostro was told by an archangel that though he had committed murder under righteous circumstances, he couldn't go to heaven due to it being too populated. Instead, he was sent to Hell. However, though Caliostro didn't know, heaven refused to accept him due to his wendigo-like condition.
In Hell, Caliostro knew that weak demons were usually victimised and targeted, due to being vulnerable. He knew about the exterminations, and he believed that if he was powerful, with a vast territory and a home, he would be relatively safe. Plus, if he conveyed his power, then the other demons would know not to trifle with him. So, in a short amount of time, Caliostro claimed a sizeable part of land in Pentagram City, and dealt mercilessly with any demon who attempted to take it from him. That was the only time he ever severely hurt other demons, for he was creating a reputation for himself, and knew that he needed to appear merciless and powerful. After a short while, less and less demons challenged him, until only stubborn Sir Pentious remained as the only one who would, again and again, try to take away his turf. Caliostro really doesn't like Sir Pentious, and is considering more drastic measures.
Thus, in Hell, Caliostro is renowned and feared. Some even call him The Shadow Demon, which he finds amusing
Other: His mannerisms are most curious. His ears have the tendency to twitch and swivel like those of a cat, he likes to tilt his head not unlike an owl would, and his paws gesticulate and jerk quite often, as though he's generally tense and always on edge due to something. He also has a forked tongue, and when angered or scared, reverts back to a hissing voice, elongating his S's noticeably. Like a feline, he's capable of purring and has retractable claws. He can also jump pretty damned high, and can run fast due to his elongated legs. He's also incredibly lithe and agile.
He's able to elongate his tail to great lengths, and so could...potentially...strangle somebody with it. He was a sorcerer within his lifetime, and has retained his abilities. Within Hell, he's somewhat feared yet also people are in wary awe of him.
However, he's not physically strong, and even small amounts of liquor can get him tipsy...so he's what is referred to as a lightweight, I believe. When he died, he had contracted pneumonia, so he still coughs at times. If people get very close, they can sometimes hear the liquid and sputum wheezing within his lungs. However, as he's dead, this doesn't tend to bother him...though it can be annoying when brave yet insufferably curious individuals ask what the rasping sound is.
His wing-like appendages aren't actually wings. It is, in fact, a cloak which attaches to his wrists and forms wings. The cloak is created from purple material, and is silky and very thin. It was gifted to him by Megdalyon.
Megdalyon is his shadow demon servant
