Appearance: "Can't you just take a gander at my face or are you all incapable of even the simplest things? I'm tall, unusually thin and lanky as a heron so my mother states; with a very pale complexion. My face, as father claims, is inherited from him and is thin, pointed with rather prominent cheekbones which, admittedly, do express quite the mysterious air about me. My eyes, as observed in the mirror, are quite green and seem to have a piercing quality to them which I'm very keen on. Brown in colour, my hair is short and somewhat spiky. Due to a birth defect, my right eye is blind and I wear an eyepatch. However, this isn't a fault! I can still focus well using one eye!
As for my attire, I favour comfortable yet sophisticated, dark clothing but, naturally, whilst at Hogwarts, I'm inclined to wear the customary uniform"
Personality: "I describe myself as being withdrawn and reserved from society; anti social to an extent and, occasionally, to the extreme. I dislike talking, especially to people who aren't worthy of my attention and aren't my type. My close friends and family claim that I'm highly intelligent, observant and I grasp ideas well; likewise, I find that my mind is often whirring with analytical notions and thoughts. I always see all the different aspects and outcomes to any idea put forward. Deep inside, I have shown myself to be manipulative and uncaring; I am not easily concerned by other people's issues and can't always display empathy though I will always try to do so. I am a very good pretender, trust me. Arrogant and valiant, I will never avoid or cower if a challenge is given and shall always use words to defend myself rather then inane brawn. Brawn does not convey intelligence"
Skills: "I am maybe too intelligent, observant and analytical for my own good; I find that I'm often kept awake at night with thoughts that whizz throughout my brain. Riddles never puzzle me and I find them almost incompetent with their utter simplicity; so I'm very skilled at problem solving. With duelling, I am fast and keep my cool; I don't panic. I use my speed and skill and trust me, I swim in speed and skill. I am also manipulative and not afraid to lie for my benefit. Ah yes, I also excel in non verbal spells and I am a skilled legilimens"

Ah, I forgot to mention that the Patronus charm is a favourite of mine"
