Name: Florizel
Age: Nineteen
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual Asexual
Species: Blodnazchak
The creation of a Blodnazchak is extremely rare, and only five of these people walk the Earth currently. The Blodnazchak possesses fangs like a vampire, yet drinks blood from animals, not humans. Only if a Blodnazchak was dying, and urgently required blood, would they attack a human
The Blodnazchak is born only when the mother is labouring under a hunter's moon, and has the moon's light reflected within her eyes. It is a very rare phenomenon, and the way to produce a blodnazchak is widely unknown. They are feared creatures, and misunderstood. Human society is wary of the blodnazchak, for the blodnazchaks are extremely powerful beings, capable of multiple abilities. Indeed, scientists often try to capture the very few blodnazchaks around, wanting to perform experimentation upon the creature's duo hearts. Yes, the blodnazchak has two hearts which allows them to the ability to resist sleep and general human fatigue: also, it assists when they are sick or wounded. When severely wounded, a blodnazchak's pulse becomes virtually undetectable so that their enemies don't realise they are still alive, and kill them off. It's a defence mechanism, really
Occupation: Freelance detective
Habitat: Anywhere. If people require his services, they need only call and he shall somehow appear to them
Powers: Bistrasmervt; the Blodnazchak is the only creature able to harness this deathly power. It consists of the blodnazchak taking total control over their opponent's body organs, and caused a slow, agonising death. However, the blodnazchaks don't use this power often, as it drains their life energy, and makes them generally weaker in long-term health. Florizel is capable of shadow bending/manipulation, shifting into a black fox, is immortal, has enhanced senses and can harness the ability of flight
Appearance: Florizel is considerably tall, taller than most males, and his physique is very thin and slender as a willow; he's underweight and scrawny due to eating less than the average person and he's bony. If one were to feel his abdomen, just under his chest, they'd soon realise how prominent his ribcage is and how it can be felt under his pale skin. However, touching him is a feat for he hates contact from strangers. On to facial features, he's very pale and sometimes glimmers white in harsh sunlight or moonlight. His face is thin and pointed, with exquisitely prominent cheekbones and finely carved features. His eyes are usually narrowed in his characteristic, solemn frown and are a deep purple shade which harbours a blue tinge but can transform to gold or crimson when experiencing anger, joy or other powerful emotions. His nose is triangular and delicate, adept at scenting various odours and, peculiarly, he's able to flare his nostrils. On to his hair; it is dark brown, and is short and quite spiky. His fringe has a habit of falling across his eyes in a most mysterious and charming manner. For attire, he wears quite casual yet elegant clothing; grey trousers, a casual white shirt and black belt, a black overcoat/trenchcoat over the shirt, a long navy blue scarf and black shoes with golden buckles
Personality: It is made perfectly clear, from first encounters, that Florizel is not a people's person. He's terribly withdrawn and can be described as antisocial, actively avoiding contact or conversation with strangers or the people he dislikes; there are many. He's a high functioning skeptic and will tend to criticise rather than compliment, unless he's in a good mood or particularly likes the thing he's currently looking at or speculating upon. Really, his criticism is just a way to cure his profound boredom, to entertain himself...and to make himself unique...because he believes that all people are different and that differences must be understood, encouraged and accepted. If you manage to become his acquaintance, Florizel proves to be perhaps overly protective, quite quirky and extremely skilled at singing, poetry and artwork. Yes, this skeptical youth loves to sing, and his poetry has the ability to bring forth tears. However, you need to have different qualities, for Florizel holds people to high opinions and only favours friendship upon those whom suit him and whom he genuinely likes and would want to be friends with. Incredibly intelligent, observant and analytical, Florizel will often overthink situations and is always active for he observes all; he could even detect the movement of an ant out of the corner of his eye. He loves quizzes and intellectual puzzles, and may even ask random riddles if he's in a good mood. Yes, if illness causes him to become weary and detached from reality, Florizel may freak out due to his much relied upon senses becoming hazy and weak; he needs his eyes and ears. He's loving over animals and always asks for forgiveness before drinking their blood; he never kills if he can avoid it, and those few close to him, yet can seem callous towards strangers, for he does criticise too often; he laughs at very peculiar situations, finding falling things amusing and can laugh at completely the wrong moment...which he doesn't often find too awkward. Though not overly empathetic to some people, he is sensitive in the way that he can often feel if someone is upset, irritated, angry or feeling some other emotion; and he's often right. It's similar to a sixth sense. He becomes jealous quite easily, yet will expertly hide these feelings and remain calm as ever. He's skilled at appearing collected and cool, though within he may be turmoiling with strife. With his skepticism and coldness comes his temper; he tends to avoid violence and relies more upon his words for he lacks brawn. Yes, 'sticks and stones may break bones, but words can also hurt you'...he states often. He likes justice, and will endeavour to fight for it as passionately as he will fight for his beliefs and friends. However cold and aloof towards humans and others, Florizel really does care; his angsty attitude hides the lonely, insecure and wounded creature beneath
Skills: When lacking in muscle and brawn, Florizel uses a mixture of wit, intelligence and magic to defeat his foes...and it often works. He has the ability to look absolutely formidable when angry, and his nails hurt if they happen to lash out at you in rage. He's quite manipulative and callous, and can act very well indeed; his appearance often gets him out of trouble if he's caught out. He writes moving poetry, draws well and sings in an angelic voice. He's also analytical, very agile and uses his powers well; he's a fast sprinter and can slip through tiny spaces due to his slender build. He's also discreet, and could get away with almost anything he does; with his charm and coyness
Flaws: He lacks social skills and brawn, thought he states that it doesn't matter tuppence. His cold and skeptical attitude often gives people the wrong impression and due to his quiet personality, he rarely gains proper friends and remains lonely. He's a terrible swimmer, suffers from an absurdly high alcohol intolerance and sometimes is able to suffer from acute panic attacks. Due to scientific issues during his birth, Florizel's heart is prone to severe palpitations and chest pains. Also, due to his eating habits, he's prone to losing weight quickly for he's picky concerning food...very picky. He's also vulnerable to the usual flaws of a normal vampire, such as sunlight and a stake through the heart
Personality type: INTJ. Introvert and intuitive and thinking and judging
Other: He has a mortal enemy named Meadweed, who is searching to kill him, yet Florizel knows how to make himself undetected. He also has sinus arrhythmia and has an IQ of 130. He also is a frail youth and has general poor health due to his Bistrasmervt power, and cannot cope within hot temperatures
Backstory: Florizel's birth was an utter mistake, for his parents were upon the road to the hospital when his mother went into labour. She gave birth in the open-roof car, and the hunter's moonlight shone down upon her. She gave birth to Florizel, a blodnazchak. His parents were supernatural creatures themselves; mother a vampire and his father a vampire also, so they knew what they'd given birth to. In the vampire traditions, blodnazchaks are feared, loathed and treated as unsavoury monsters, as second class citizens. Florizel was abandoned by his parents, and left to die within the woods, for his parents, vampires, had little empathy even for their own child. Florizel, defenceless, would've perished had he not been found by an elderly hermit. The years went by, and Florizel grew, learning to harness his powers. One day, the hermit was attacked by poachers and injured. At that moment, Florizel, in blind rage, used Bistrasmervt and slew all the poachers, sparing none. The hermit recovered, and now knew that Florizel wielded the notorious and destructive power, yet he never felt any prejudice, and resumed to care for the young boy until old age finally claimed him. Florizel dug a grave manually for the dead man, and buried him, weeping by the grave of the one person who'd loved him. For days, he lay at the burial sight, growing weaker and weaker in grief, hopelessness and despair. Upon the tenth day, he received a dream from the elderly hermit, who insisted that he continued in life, for the world needed him. Florizel was stricken by the words, yet he listened and lost the will to die. He entered the city, aged eighteen, and disguised himself as a human to avoid running into danger. He works as a freelance detective, his powers used well as assets in the occupation
