Q. How many Putin fanfictions do you think wattpad has?

Here's what my Youtube fam thought.

Unfortunately, only 8% were correct. 

There are 37.1K search results if you search 'putin' on Wattpad.

The top 11/15 search results are actually Putin fanfictions, so about 73% of the top search results give Putin fanfictions.

If we assume that the search results further down will follow the same result, there should be about 27,206 Putin fanfictions on Wattpad. Realistically, however, there are probably more.

And if you think this fact is cursed, wait till you hear the rest of it!

I don't know whether the person who voted this was serious or they were doing a bit of trolling.

Now, Donald Trump and Obama are already MARRIED, but I think this is the least of our problems here.

Here's my personal thoughts on Putin fanfics, and DO tell me yours as well.

Most of these fanfictions were written before the war (But 2 VERY CURSED ones were written after the invasion of Ukraine).

See, Putin in real life is a war criminal. But to... um, wattpad, he is probably seen as the ultimate #badboy. I mean, he's super powerful, has a shid tonne of money, and definitely has a dark evil side. Not to mention he's extremely cunning. 

If he wasn't evil I'm pretty sure many people would actually crush on him (BRUH).

Some already call him Vlady Daddy.

But DOES IT MEAN THEY SHOULD write Putin fanfictions?

My thoughts are whatever.

If peeps wanna write cursed fanfic of real life villains, I don't think we should hate them for it. I think the writers just feel really powerless to do anything, and so they take out their frustrations by writing shitty fanfics.

Or they have a Putin fetish.

IDK. 

As for the people reading the fanfics, well, I think it's fair to judge them (internally), but should we bully them/ harass them? I don't think so. We can be concerned for their mental health tho.

Here are some comments by a reader of a Putin fanfic. 

They seem to empathize with Ukraine... but they are also reading a Putin fanfic. They seem to dislike themself for reading it, too.

I honestly don't know how to feel, so I ignored it.

What do you think? Should people write Putin fanfics?

Q. How many Putin X Zelenskiy fanfictions do you think Wattpad has?

If you search 'Volodymyr' on wattpad you will see 2/45 stories are Zelenskiy X Putin fanfictions. There are more Zelenskiy fanfictions than this, though, not involving Putin.

Now this for me is a little more complicated. I honestly don't know how to feel. I do think we should not bully people for writing or reading it... but I don't think people should write or read it, either. 

Confession time: I did read one for rEsEarcH pUrpOsEs, I regret it... Very messed up.

What do you think of THIS niche of Putin fanfictions? Should they exist?

Anyways, this is a less dreadful chapter than the doom-and-gloom chapters on the War, I still wanted to mention it because no one is really talking about it, and I guess no one really should- but I did it anyway.
