War

Ever Universe has at least one nasty war, Solirus was no different. The most nastiest of wars, something they every human and Solirian call, the Great War. Both species were fighting over Power and Control. The very young King Acorn, was on the battlefield ordering his greatest army of Solirians to fight back, against the human's military forces.

Bodies were scattered throughout the battlefield, both Solirians, and Humans, some of them in their mid-twenties to eighteen years old.

But this War was only the beginning of what is to come to the future of Solirus.

Explosions were heard from the different sides of the huge castle, The young Queen who was holding her two screaming children in her arms was being escorted to the safety of the lower levels of the castle. While other Knights, were sent to the field of battle.

A yellow and blue electrical surge of energy was shot out to give the Queen enough time to get to safety.

"Go I'll hold them off!" A bright yellow male hedgehog told the other knights that were helping out the queen, his yellow quills were very messy to the yellow electricity that was coming of them, his yellow pelt had a hint of blue to it as well as at the tips of his quills, a thunderbolt birth mark on the side of his cheek, a very pale muzzle, underbelly and arms, bright blue eyes that sparkle in sunlight.

"Julius!!" A female voice came out, a beautiful dark purple porcupine, with bangs that cover her face a light peach muzzle, and underbelly, wearing a black one piece full body suit, with a dark navy blue cropped top hoodie and matching belt. In her arms three little hoglets, two of which were crying during the whole ordeal, while one little cyan hoglet was confused as to what was going on, these hoglets were save inside of homemade carrier that kept their little bodies close to theirs mother for protection.

Julius who had completed knocked out the guards hear his wife's call, he had get them to safety much like the Queen...his family was most important.

"Azula, you need to go..."

"No I am not leaving with you!" Azula called out, as she held onto his arm.

They knew this day was going to come, The President made it very clear that he wanted these anthropomorphic creatures of this planet. The couple had been separated a lot cause of these attacks, but he had to stay and fight...it was his duty as a Knight.

"Azzie Listen to me..." he said as he cups his wife's cheeks. "I will come back for you...but I just want you and our kids safe"

Azula felt the tears forming in her eyes, she just quickly pulls her husband into a passionate kiss on the lips. After pulling away the two share a nuzzle "Okay...I love you Julius...please be careful"

"I will...My Princess" Julius said Azula hurried off, she knew the castle wasn't a safe place for her...not anymore, Julius bought her sometime, she looked down to see that the golden inhibitor rings that were around her wrists have been removed, she had just enough energy to get out of there. "Hold on..." she told her hoglets.

Once Julius saw the dark purple flash, a small smile formed on his muzzle...he knew he wasn't gonna be able to make it back to his wife, and that was okay, after all he only wanted her off the field of battle, he wipes away a tear from his eye before bolting off to the King's side.

The Soldiers that were tracking down Azula, growled under their breaths...but they knew she couldn't have gone far, so in a group they set out to look for her.

She opened her eyes to see that she was close to a village...a rather secret village, a place that was hidden deep in the woods, though not for long.

"Come out I know your here!"

She curses at herself she was being followed, he looked down at the hoglets a small smile on her muzzle, she had to the right thing. "I...I know we only known each other for a year..." she removes the two inhibitor rings from her ankles and places them around Spade's wrists they shrink to fit his tiny wrists. She started to prepare a basket for them, of their eyes watching her carefully. "But...I know you all will do great things..."

The cyan hoglet grabs a hold of her finger, with a smile on his muzzle. "Just know...no matter what happens...Mommy and Daddy are always looking after you" she plants small kisses onto their heads. She hurries over to the big house placing the basket down, small tears in her eyes as she didn't really have any other choice. She rang the doorbell "I-I'm sorry..." she said as she bolted off.

The soldiers that were hunting her down saw her and started to give chase, it was a sacrifice that she had to make. For the safety of her own children.

"Hello?" A pink dragon, wearing a dark blue scarf with a pink dragon pin on it, she looking around before looking down to see a basket, lifting the white blanket over it she gasps. "Oh...How!" She picks up the basket and brings them inside.

This Dragon, her name is Diana.

Four years had passed, War seemed to have quiet down. For now anyways

Diana raised the three hoglets as if they were part of her own kids, it was strange how they arrived at her door step, this village was only known Dragon Village in Solirus.

"Mommy Look!!"

"Hmm?" Diana said as she looked down at the cyan hedgehog who was the only that was home at the time, his ability was unstable, something the Dragon didn't really understand...his powers were equal to that of a the very rubies that her tribe were guarding.

"I found Booterfly!!" The hoglet said holding up his hand to show her a rainbow winged butterfly.

Diana looked had a shocking look on her face, those type of butterflies were rare to find on Solirus. She only smiled "it's beautiful Ace"

Ace smiled as the butterfly flew away out the open window, the hoglet didn't seem to mind that.

"Go get you siblings, it's almost time for dinner"

"Okie!" Ace said as he hurried off to the back door, she was glad that her tribe was so excepting of these three...she only hoped that their Mother was out there somewhere looking for them.

Another year had went by, The older the hoglets got, the more Diana had noticed this special gift that all three of them.

Especially Ace...he had a lot of energy, chaos energy that was equal to that of the chaos rubies that her tribe guarded over. She bit her bottom lip as the guards had been telling her about the humans attacks on Solirian Civilizations.

Five years ago...The King Castles was attack. She only feared the worst...her village could be next.

That was indeed the case, as Queen of her Tribe she had to fight along side her people, but the Military were prepared for this fight.

"AHHH!!"

Diana heard the screamed, as she saw that the castle was fire, "No!" She screamed her children were still inside as she told them to stay...it was already to late for her as the military were winning this war...she hurried into the castle.

Spade and Cora were already out of the flames...mostly because of Ace, but the cyan hoglet was still inside.

"Mommy!!" Ace called out, as his leg got caught underneath a burning wooden plank. She already saw the soldiers holding the other two hoglets hostage, she forced the plank off of her son, not caring about burns on her palms, she scoops up the hoglet.

"Ace...You are the most bravest hedgehog I've ever met..."

"Mommy..."

"But and I know that you'll do great things for Solirus"

Ace started to tear up, as he saw both his siblings and the soldiers getting ready to fire, as well as the all the dead bodies of his friends, and the other dragons. "N-No...we can get out of here...a-and we can be a family" he cried.

Diana only smiled, she places her scarf around his neck it was rather big on his body but he'd grow into it.

"I want you to run...and don't look back" she said as she got up, and stared at the soldiers, her jaded eyes glowed a bright cyan color as she quickly uses telekinesis on the soldiers blowing them back.

"Run! My Children!! and Don't stop running!!"

Before Ace could plead with the female dragon, Cora grabbed a hold of him and bolted after Spade.

"MOMMY!!" The hoglet cried out.

"I love you...my Heroes..." Diana smiled as a signal tear falls from her face.

As the hoglets ran, a gunshots were heard in the distance.

Fifteen Years Later, Solirus is what it is Today, though the hoglets had grown up together, all three of them went their separate ways.

Ace and a good childhood friend of his started a hero group for Solirians, called the Freedom Fighters.

The sound crunching rumble was heard underneath Ace's shoes, as he came back to the hidden village that he grew up in, everything was now home too the plant and wildlife that lived in woods in front of the village.

He walked over to what remained of the castle, ash covered the ground as the place was turned into nothing but ash and rumble.

He started digging around the place to see if anything survived, he pulls out an old burnt teddy bear, that was still soft, but to ashy hug at the moment, it was something that he got on his third birthday, but what really caught his eye was an photo, he pushes the burnt wood out of the way so he pick it up, he smiled at the picture.

A noise from his communicator turned his attention to it.

"Ace! Towe is Attacking Sakura Village...I've already sent Marcus and Teddy there"

"On my way...Thanks Sally" he said as he turns off of the call.

"I haven't forgotten about you Mom...and thanks for everything" He said as he held onto the scarf before cyan sparks flew off of his quills and he bolted off at high speed leaving a blur behind.
