He is very close to both Ace and Mephiles but is a big time Momma's Boy.
The gems on his bracelets helps keeps his powers stable when he's old enough to control his powers he'll won't have them anymore.
He is also very close to Shadow T. Hedgehog only because the edgelord helps him with controlling his chaos abilities.

Powers/Abilities
Like Mephiles he can travel through the shadows, as well as make copies of himself to help in battle or to confuse the opponents.
His chaos abilities are a deep purple color, like Shadow he can use chaos spear, and chaos control.
With Ace being made up of pure Chaos Energy Necro has that problem as well mostly do to how unstable he is and can literally be a ticking Time Bomb, that can explode at any minute, and not like die explosion, but just can cause a massive dark energy field that could wipe out half of a planet. Tho this has yet been proven so for now he wear special rings that has a gem on them to help control those powers of his.
Necro is a rather energetic kid but sweet like Ace is even if his Dad is Mephiles.

Was Necro, Mephiles plan? Not really not that Necro was an accident since he was planned, but Mephiles was already planning on using Ace for his taking over the world plan, it's just that desperate the amount harm he cause to Ace the hedgehog just except it to keep his friends safe, one thing lead to another and you get the Idea.

Does Mephiles help Necro with his dark Chaos Powers? Yes but only because he actually cares about Necro like a son and still wants to be apart in his life.

Is Necro fast? Yes, that gene is still past down from Ace, so like him, Necro is fast.

How is Dark Chaos Energy different? Well Dark Chaos energy is just negative energy that can be used for either good or evil, it's a much stronger chaos energy but harmful to the user. In Necro's case being the Son Of Mephiles Necro can handle this kind of energy and uses it to attack.
