Teddy B. Fox

He was walking down the hallway of the Freedom HQ, looking for Ace after all it was unlike his best friend to miss out on going on an adventure, his fox ears twitches at the sound of someone sneezing before coughing and the lights in the hallway flickering, it's not really rocket science to find out who could cause this, he hurries his way to the location where he heard the sneezing and coughing from.

Ace M. Hedgehog

The cyan hedgehog lowers his scarf down from his muzzle to block out the sneeze, on his arm was small bite mark that was similar in a diameter to a snake bite though bigger than a snake, whoever gave him the bite or where he got it it was clear that his body was reacting negatively to it, hints why he looked so pale in the face. "It's okay Azzy...I know y-" He sneezes again causing sparks to fly off of his quills effecting the lights in his room.

Azula B. Cheetah

The small cub had some scales on the side of her neck, from where her fur had been scratched off, she was getting older and her small body was going through changes so that she was similar to her father, in a way she still had back spikes like Ace but parts of her fur started to fall off causing irritation to her skin cause scales were growing underneath the fur, it was most noticeable on her elbows and neck as well as around the bridge of her muzzle. She only whimpers as small snake like fangs were sticking out of mouth, she is still a baby so she didn't have full control of this new change and thus she accidentally bit Ace.

Narrator

Of course the first symptoms were small, like the feeling of being lightheaded when sudden movements, to sneezing and coughing. Before it turns into straight up vomiting, then the sudden feeling of just being weak. Of course the venom isn't poisonness?

Teddy B. Fox

Teddy opens the door to the room, to see Azula whimpering and nuzzling Ace's cheek, as she looked like she was about to cry. The poor cyan hedgehog had just collapsed to the floor. "ACE!?!" Teddy quickly rolls Ace over so that he was on his back, the fox started to feel the hedgehog's head only to pull his hand away.

Narrator

The elevator door to the Freedom HQ Robotnik's Laboratory opened to reveal Teddy who was holding Ace in his arms who hadn't really woken up yet and a very regretful Azula who was trying to get her mother to wake up.

"Oh my! What happened!?" Maria called out when she noticed the cyan hero.

"I...I don't know...I heard him sneezing and coughing only to find him knocked out on the floor in his room" Teddy responded, as he lays Ace down onto the operating table.

Maria scoops up Azula from Ace's arms, the Cub only whimpers and try to squirm her way out of Maria's hands, to get back to her mother.

"He has a pulse...which a relief..." Teddy said as he held two fingers to Ace's neck.

"Should we call a doctor?" Maria asked.

"And what risk the public let alone G.U.N to realize that the hero is down giving the Commander time to attack our people" Teddy said as he pressed his ear to Ace's chest to check and make sure he was breathing properly. Besides some wheezing not really. He motions one of the medical bots to take care of the situation, after all that's what they are built for.

"I'm gonna have to tell Cora...that Ace isn't coming...not when he likes this" Teddy tells Maria.

Maria only nodded as she watched her boyfriend walk away to send over a text, she just looked at the medical bots do their work on taking Ace to a more appropriate looking room to run some test, she looks down at Azula who hadn't really stopped whimpering as her ears were tilted back. And tears started to form in her eyes. "It's okay Azula...your Mommy is going fine, after all he's a freedom fighter just like you" Maria reassures the Cub who only gave a small purr it was at least enough to calm her down.

It was around an two hours before the medical bots had finished when their analysis on Ace's situation as well as his condition.

Teddy had his phone out as he ready to type down Ace's condition to send to Cora through texting since Dimensional Calling hasn't really been invented yet...not that he hadn't been working on it.

"I hate to inform you all...but we have found the source of the problem" The Medical Bot said.

"And?"

"It is a snake bite, though it could be from Solirian considering how big it is from a normal snakes and do to this snake bite, it had put Mr. Hedgehog in a coma."

Teddy only blinks before his ears pinned to his skull. "T-Temporary R-Right..." he stutters.

The medical bot looks at its clipboard "We have already injected him with the anti-venom to help his immune system fight off the venom, we are just unsure how long it will take, so he'll be in and out of consciousness"

Teddy lets out a sigh of relief, he finished sending the text and he just folded his arms as he started to think...how or who would give his best friend such a toxic bite like that. Then an Image of Ace having a claim mark on his shoulder with snake fangs before more pronounced. "No...He wouldn't do that, as much as I dislike the guy...I'm not that stupid to jump to conclusions like that." Teddy only rubs his head.
