Recently today it has come to my attention that Mina Aoyama a popular Vtuber who does Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and many other stuff has recently found herself in a bit of drama on everyone's favorite place in the world: X formerly known as Twitter. She made a tweet that has sense then sparked a lot of backlash from people at first I was worried but after doing some Batman level detecting I realized that this entire drama is completely stupid and honestly not that big of a deal which is why for today's discussion I'm going to be addressing surrounding Mina and give you all my thoughts on this and why it's not as big of a deal as people think it is and why both sides are in the wrong in someway shape or form so anyways without further ado let's get started.

Earlier today I found this tweet on Twitter  where Mina says this.

This was after the Firefly trailer the day before her banner is officially released. Now I just wanna make this clear that this is Mina's second account as she has since confirmed it. But back on top you guys who aren't familiar with the situation may be asking yourselves: "Well why did this tweet cause so much drama?" Well let's just say people are saying this Caelus shown at the end and not Stelle. Mina would then go onto respond in say she isn't against the male and then go on to say she will not be responding to any comments basically and that everyone has their own opinions.

The reason why people are angry because they are pointing out hoe hypocritical she is as she was jumping for joy when they talk about this headcannon tweet.

As well as when Firefly was seen with the picture Stelle. Now normally this is the part where I agree with most of these tweets because Mina sounded like a hypocrite seemingly because it's two lesbians. However I also have a problem with the people calling her out because it's perfectly find to point out the hypocrisy in her statement but if gets to the point where you started getting furious over a character of her opinion or saying stuff like she's sexist, heterosexual or saying that her opinions are wrong which implies that you believe in right or wrong opinions that align with your take or not basically saying stuff she has no right to have an opinion or she hates males like with some of these tweets.

That's when I stopped taking your opinion seriously and that tells me everything I need to know about you based on your actions. Pretty much almost everybody on here is completely jumping the gun calling Mina a male hater, she's heterophobic, putting words in her mouth acting like they know her personally. Granted there are some more reasonable tweets that only said she's a hypocrite but there most other tweets that are just downright sickening to me and really shows why there is no safe place on the Internet no matter where you go. Even if her opinion is stupid and makes her look like a hypocrite that doesn't justify you with name calling and being completely judgement if anything it makes you just as hypocritical and stupid if not more so then her. I don't know people which is why I'm a believer that I look at people based on their actions and based on what I've seen Mina is not a male hater nor is she against straight ships or parings I've seen some of her Honkai Impact 3rd streams and there are some parings that are straight that she finds cute. I might not know her personally but based on these actions she's not heterophobic so anyone who says otherwise either didn't watch Mina's videos or they did they're just spreading misinformation like the first tweet above said she trashes Aether in the Navia reaction video yet I've looked at the reaction videos bro could possibly be referring to and not once did I see Mina trash Aether in anyway shape or form. And even if that was the case what's the problem with trashing a character? I trash characters all the time that's just my opinion. At best all she said was ew but for some reason people like this paint it off as she hate men when that's not the case.

I think it's also worth noting that sometime opinions can change even if those changes. Despite my belief on actions speak louder than words and despite the tweets, we all could very well be wrong she could probably not be a hypocrite maybe she would've kept that same energy if Stelle was in the end and not Caelus we don't know because we DON'T KNOW her and on top of that there is no right or wrong opinion regardless on how good or how bad it is but the problem with today's world is that we treat opinions like there is a right or wrong so when someone says an opinion that doesn't aligned with theirs they get made and say that it's a bad take and started getting angry. It's perfectly fine to find they hypocrisy in what might be in said opinion and yes I said might because again we don't know her, what's not fine is getting upset because someone said something that doesn't align with their thoughts of thinking had Mina did say something that does, all of these tweets would be praising her. This really shows the hypocrisy in today's world when we see an opinion we consider it right because it goes in line of our way of thinking but if we see an opinion that doesn't we act like children or animals because we are so pissed off when somebody says something and people get pissed off and all of the sudden that person deserves to be imprisoned in Arkham City and die during Protocol 10 set by Hugo Strange that's just the world we live in. At this point I don't care if Mina is a hypocrite these tweets are even bigger hypocrites because rather than respectfully say they disagree with her and point out why she's a hypocrite and encourage her to do better they all resort to hating her and likely wish Scarecrow was around to inject Mina with his fear toxin and do what he did in Arkham Knight and die as a result. This is just unacceptable. Regardless on Mina's stance on the ending, saying that she's sexist, or heterophobic is just stupidity at its finest and in my opinion it's woke as Hell. Yes I know that's usually for the far left liberals but that can also be applied for the far right activists as well.

In fact this is a hot take one that's probably going to get a lot of hate, but in a way I actually agree with Mina's opinion on the Firefly trailer. As much as I love Firefly they definitely did reduced her to a waifu bait and yeah that is the case with all the characters in Hoyoverse the thing is that at least with Honkai Impact 3rd characters they did more than make them waifu material they actually did a great job of giving top tier levels of character development that adds to the story and actually makes me fall in love with the characters and the story and the journey. That was not the case with Star Rail with most waifu baits they absolutely downgrade their characters with no complete consequences and sometimes they end up as disappointments for me. Don't get me wrong I don't hate nor dislike the characters but they don't make me fall in love with them and make me attached to them like with Honkai Impact 3rd characters because besides Welt Yang I'm not as attached to all the characters not even the ones like Kafka and Acheron who I consider one of my favorite due to lack of character development . Honkai Star Rail in a nutshell is basically the video game version of Boruto. In both cases Boruto and Honkai Star Rail are the direct sequels to iconic series which in this case it's Naruto and Honkai Impact 3rd where we are introduced to mid stories and mid development where even if I do like some of them I'm not emotionally attached to them like I was in the OG cast. But the difference is that at least with Boruto that all changed after Naruto Next Generations chapter 80 and onwards in Two Blue Vortex where I actually started to care for and be just as attached to the new gen characters as much as I am with the OGs. That's not the case with Honkai Star Rail, sure the Penacony arc was good especially with Trailblazer and Firefly's relationship but other than that they still haven't managed to make me just as attached to the Star Rail characters as I was with Impact 3rd, the story is still mid and Trailblazer regardless of gender is still drastically inferior to Kiana, even Part 2 where they go to Mars is on the road to surpassing Star Rail and we aren't even 6 chapters in but that was based in the fact that Dreamseeker proved to be a massive improvement to Trailblazer due to having an actual personality and not limited to player's choice. So yeah I agree with Mina's take but I don't agree with the hypocrisy behind it as I have a very different reason as to why I agree. You are allowed to agree or disagree with me, call me out or even point out some hypocrisy I might've had that I don't remember you have ever right to do that but if at one point if I see you acting like a child and not being civil and you decided to just resort to name calling all because my opinion doesn't align with yours I won't take you seriously and you will be blocked. At the end of the day Mina Aoyama just like everyone else is a normal human being she might be crazy snd stupid every know in that just like the rest of us in someway shape or form but at the end of the day she's entitled to think the way she thinks we don't know her we shouldn't be judgmental about this and jump the gun because you think she has a bad take on the ending of the Firefly trailer. As of the making of this chapter, Mina has posted anything on the matter on the chapter. Here's hoping and praying that this is the last time we speak of this drama and it's never heard from ever again.
