You were on the beach when you saw a tiny mersiren (I'm calling those kinds of hybrids that from now on-) on the beach, stuck in a plastic bag (because pollution). You immediately went to save him from the evil bag  and went to make sure that he was okay. He was tiny, about the size of a guppy. He was feisty at first, but only because he was scared.

"Awww poor baby," you frowned.

Benjamin snapped at you, "Who are you to call me a baby! I'm not a baby! I'm a 20-year-old King. What kind of man are you?!"

You blinked at him in awe. "I'm sorry your majesty. I didn't know...you're just...so small. You're  almost the size of my palm."

"I can't help being like this!" The smol mersiren pouted.

"I'm Y/N what's your name?" You asked.

"I'm  King Benjamin Burt- hey stop that!" He shrieked.

You were giving him belly rubs with your finger.

"I'm sorry I was just trying to soothe you..."

"I don't need soothing!" Benjamin shrieked.

"You're hurt your majesty. How about this, I have a fish tank at home. I can put you in it to rest after I aid you," You offered.

"Mmm.." Benjamin thought to himself.

"Unless you want me to hand you over to a bunch of scientists," you added.

"Fine, I will stay with you for a little while," Benjamin sighed.

The roleplay would start from there.
