Godzilla could remove souls from other beings in order to stay alive after death.

This was shown in one of the manga as he was in a boy's body now after he died.

Now this is frightening once you think about it. Godzilla could remove the soul of any other being and become that being. He could be any being he wanted if he so choosed.
