WARNING: The following chapter contains MAJOR SPOILERS for The Super Mario Bros Movie so if you haven't seen the movie yet click off now but if you have seen it or you just don't mind spoilers then without further a do let's get into the review.

Yo what's going on guys it's Mario and Sonic gamer and I just saw came out from see The Super Mario Bros Movie.

And I just have to say: It. Was. FIREEEEEEEE! Everything about this movie ranging from the story, characters, and faithful adoption to the games is definitely worth the watch I'd recommend it to everyone.

Let's start off with the casting. Honestly all of them did a pretty great job I was kinda meh at first when it came to Chris Pratt as Mario but he damn sure improved his Mario and did an excellent job, same with Charles Day as Luigi, as for Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach she did a great job making her sound so badass, Seth Rogen made me laugh but honestly I didn't really like the fact that he didn't step up his game as Donkey Kong but the best of all os definitely Jack Black as Bowser he did a brilliant job I almost picture myself standing next to Bowser and his army.

As for the plot of the film honestly I love the overall plot mostly because they had Luigi be Bowser's kidnapping victim this time around instead of Peach and Peach plays more of a mentor role. It's really amazing I love it.

Moving on to the characters starting with our main hero Mario, I love the concept of him and Luigi basically just being outsiders with people telling them what they can or what they cannot do and it really pays off in the end where he eventually becomes heroes.

Moving on to Luigi they did a great job with his character as he was the scaredy cat I imagined him to be I loved that little flashback with Luigi as a kid being bullied and always relaying on Mario to be there for him, and then we see him at the end saving Mario really shows great character development and if honestly makes me excited to see a Luigi's Mansion movie so we can see more of Luigi's character in action as he is my favorite character in the Mario series.

With Princess Peach.... Oh man they did more than just do a good job on Peach's character but they made her less of a crying girl and more of a strong woman ready to defend her kingdom as a true ruler should be. And yes I know she was playable in the past and even saved Mario at one point but most of the games she's almost always the damsel in distress so it's nice to see one of the few moments where Peach has her time to shine, and yeah she got kidnapped at the end but I wouldn't count that because she turned herself in just to defend her kingdom. That is truly amazing I hope we see more of this in the future.

Moving in to Donkey Kong I loved how he served as a rival to Mario and actually parallels him in a way especially when it comes to their relationship with their fathers he was really funny.

Last but not least we have my boy Bowser boy oh boy they did his character justice he's just as delusional for Peach as I imagined him to be and they make him look really REALLY menacing I really love it.

My favorite parts about the film are the Rainbow Road battle from Mario Kart, especially since they made the blue shell an actual character, the training pay off and most importantly the references. Dear God this movie has SO many references I just can't name them all they're all. But the best part of the film is when Mario and Luigi used they're star power and they just run through all the enemies. That is easily EASILY the best part in the entire film.

I can't wait to see more Mario movies especially since it's doing well at the box office and that post credits scene with Yoshi at the end.

Overall I loved this movie because it's animation, easter eggs, characters, interesting plot, and voice actors. An easy 9 out of 10 great movie and recommend it to everybody especially families because fuck critics and woke activists.
