What's going on guys it's Mario and Sonic gamer and today I'm going to discussing the theory of Adam being Himeko's son for those who haven't read the previous chapter I went over the arguments on how that could be possible and give my own thoughts and opinions in if this was true. However here I'm going to be going over the arguments against the theory being true and give my own thoughts on this. So without further ado let's get started.

The first arguments as to why Adam being Himeko's son doesn't work despite some similarities is the age gap. If you guys don't know  I said we don't know Adam's age and I compared his age to Carole who we know is 16 and I went with that. However there are arguments that points to Adam being older. Based in my research since I have yet to catch up on APHO it was stated that Adam is close to graduation meaning there is a chance he can be around the ages 17, 18, and 19. However the reason why I wouldn't really buy him being that old because throughout the Honkai series it was never stated what age you have to be to graduate St. Freya outside of the obvious fact that you have to be at high school age, I mean Durandal became an A-Rank Valkyrie at the age of 12 and then became S-Rank a few years later implying she was much younger than Adam was by the time she was out of St. Freya. If Adam is prodigy the same can be said here so he could still be 16 or younger by the time he graduates. But let's say for arguments sake he was much older than that he is in the ages between 17-19. If Adam was 19 years old than it would not make any sense for him to be Himeko's son because if we do the math by the logic he would be born in 2006 and at that point Himeko would be 19 years old. Which makes no sense because Himeko didn't even consider trying to date anyone until after she became a Valkyrie. So the only way for this to make sense is if Adam was 18,17,16, or younger because at the very least Himeko would've been 20, 21, 22, and so on because that's the only way for Himeko being Adam's mother makes sense because at that point she would already be looking for the right guy to date and be with before she dies due to her short lifespan but this does bring up another issue if Adam is indeed older than 19 years old then it would make no sense for Himeko to be his mother.

The next argument that goes against Himeko being the mother is her relationships never lasted. As we all know Himeko has been trying to find a mate she can be with before her inevitable death occurs and most of her relationships don't end well due to her constant work as a Valkyrie, as well as many other issues. To be fair that's a pretty solid argument but there are ways this could make sense I mean just because her dates and relationships didn't work out that doesn't mean she's never had sex before. There does remain a possibility that she did fall in love with a guy and at some point after hitting it off Himeko becomes pregnant with their child but even with that their relationship didn't work out. To make this make sense let's say that Himeko got pregnant on accident and she wasn't ready to be a mother due to her being in her early 20s at that point but she tries her best to make it work but the man she's dating who would be Adam's father couldn't handle this and the two would occasionally get into arguments before eventually breaking up. Now another thing I want to add is the theory that Adam is the same boy Mei rescued in Chapter 24 of the main series.

Which I do think it is true and I hope it's true. Both the boy and Adam are stated to have rare Stigma carriers and due to having the same hair.

I bring this up is because according to the boy he lost his mother and father before he could speak and ran away from his uncle.

If Adam is this boy then by the time this break up between Himeko and his father would occur was when he was a toddler who couldn't speak and Himeko severed ties with the man she dated and never saw her son again and the father decided to give the child to the uncle who I assume is the brother and went on his own from there and he never knew his parents. Now that's one way I see this making sense another way this could make sense is if Himeko and the man she dated tried to make things work but then the Honkai attack and Himeko was unable to save Adam and his father and is devastated that she lost her son and lover though the son would survive unbeknownst to her it's just someone found Adam and his uncle took him in and then Adam went on his own from there or Himeko left her son to be raised by his uncle after her lover died and never saw him again and based on the way the boy said that he hated his uncle so much that he ran away it's likely if this is Adam he probably suffered the same abused Tomura Shigaraki did when he was young as a result of Nana Shimura abandoning his father. Relationships could end in many ways weather it'd be through arguments or tragedy or literally anything either way those are the only ways I see Adam being Himeko's son makes sense. However there remains a strong possibility that Himeko never got pregnant at all meaning she was a virgin until she died. There are ways this could work there's also possibilities where she never had sex at all.

The last argument from what I've seen against this theory is that Himeko doesn't want to have children due to her shorten life span and problems and her career as a Valkyrie she may not want to have children which is actually the most reasonable argument if you actually think about I mean Himeko does have some form of Honkai infection that's shortening her lifespan then when you add in all the work she has such as her career as a Valkyrie, teaching at St. Freya, and training Kiana, Mei, and Bronya it may be reasonable for Himeko to not want to have children because she wouldn't want to pass down her infection to her children nor does she want them to worry whenever she's out on missions and going through the scenarios I just mentioned earlier because the Honkai are super deadly as they have a hobby of destroying families and friends some of the best examples being Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Seele, Durandal, Rita, Raven, Cocolia, Otto, Sirin, and especially the most tragic characters Kevin and Fu Hua yeah it would make sense as to why Himeko would not want to go through all thy again because she lost her father and she lost her mentor. However it does remain possible that she could want to have a family anyway despite all that but with this reason it is possible that it might not be the case. Overall while they're are arguments that make sense for why Adam is Himeko's son there's also arguments that make sense that go against it. If Himeko isn't the mother than it's possible he's just born to some random family who died via Honkai and if he is related to Himeko maybe Adam's family are Himeko's distant cousins. But like I said I won't believe this theory until we get more information in APHO 3 or id Hoyo outright makes a statement.
