What's up everyone it's Mario and Sonic fanboy and today we're going to be doing another debunk and that is Naruto VS Luffy by Idea Shock. Now this guy I actually respect him he does do some decent calculations some of which are much better than Death Battle's in fact I used some of his calculations for my own version of Naruto VS Luffy, however I have a few problems for why he thinks Luffy beats Naruto, For one it's clear that he hasn't read all of Naruto yet, Idea Shock says this himself in his All Might VS Might Guy debunk video (which is completely inaccurate by the way) that he hasn't been caught in the series (at that time he was reading the arc to where the Third Hokage was fighting Orochimaru during the Chunin Exams so it's possible he's gone further when reading but it's unlikely) plus based off what I've seen he has seen many Death Battles that feature Naruto in it, which is a problem which I'll get into in a second. Now I don't hate Idea Shock and I enjoyed One Piece as much as I enjoy Naruto and Bleach but I'm afraid I'm going to have to debunk him so without a do let's get this debunk started.

So the first problem I have is that he has Naruto at 63 zettatons of TNT (taking 1/4 of 254 zettatons of TNT) because of Death Battle's side note on Sasuke VS Hiei.

Popup: Hagoromo and Hamura created and moved a moon, a feat worth 254 zettatons of TNT at most (Less than the Okunen Tree feat). Sasuke was only given half of Hamagoromo's power, or 1/4 of this feat's potential. Although Naruto and Sasuke copied the moon creation to defeat Kaguya, it was a Sealing Technique, which does not directly translate to overall power level.

Which is wrong for so many reasons. First Death Battle ignored the fact that Naruto and Sasuke created a MUCH larger moon than Hagoromo and Hamura but it does equal to attack potency, here's my evidence.

So as you can see here based on the calculations this puts the moon output at 1,893 zettatons of TNT (1.8 yottatons of TNT.) taking 1/4 of that would be 473 zettatons of TNT and that was the LOW end of the calculations as it's even higher than that is 2,198 zettatons of TNT (2.1 yottatons of TNT) take 1/4 of that will be 549 zettatons of TNT so clearly it's much more powerful than he makes it out to be.

Plus even this moon slicing feat Naruto survived is the equivalent of 69 zettatons of TNT. (Both of Naruto's moon making attack potency and the moon slicing feat are both much greater than the Okunen Tree by the way as both are calculated to planet level at best.) So Naruto's power output is much stronger than what he said so yeah Luffy is WAY behind in terms of power (He's at 32 zettatons) even if we take 1/4 of Naruto's power it's still not enough to compete with Naruto's strength so let's move on.

The next point is the whole Haki thing, so his reasoning as to why damage Naruto is because Kaguya's similar attack, here's the problem with that, Luffy's Haki is NOWHERE near close to Kaguya's ash killing bones technique plus many characters from what I've seen can survive as shown in his video when Luffy uses Haki even if what he says is truth Naruto can counter all of his Haki with the Truth Seeking Balls which are black balls of chakra which can also destroy anything they touch, so Luffy and the only way no way Luffy surviving that, the only way he can survive that, plus Naruto can use Truth Seeking Balls to shape shift it into weapons for both defense and offense even if Luffy can by pass Naruto's chakra but Kurama and the Tailed Beast can increase his chakra when he transforms into Six Paths Sage Mode so Luffy would have to somehow by pass all the Tailed Beast in order for Naruto to run low on Chakra, also he's countered much more powerful attacks like Amaterasu and since Red Haki appears to be similar to that Naruto should be able to counter that, not to mention Six Paths senjutsu allows the user to master and absorb natural energy, plus there is one major argument that he ignores about Haki.

This right here shows that if Luffy over uses Haki he can no longer use it while Naruto with the Truth Seeking Balls can use it any time he wants unless he transforms back into base form. So that's another claim down.

As for speed I agree that Luffy is faster than Naruto however he downplayed Naruto in that speed not only did he say that Naruto can't teleport but he also said that teleportation doesn't exist in the Naruto verse.

Yeah because teleportation doesn't exist in Naruto. This clearly shows me how much he didn't do enough research on Naruto, Tobi literally says Minato teleported himself to his kunai! Side note: the versions I showed is the English dub but even the origin Japanese even says teleportation, despite what he has shown all of those statements have been proven wrong because several other characters like Naruto and the Second Hokage can teleport heck Tobirama outright stated that Minato was better at teleportation than him.

Plus even Sasuke has been shown teleportation abilities ever since he has the Rinnegan, Naruto himself has been shown teleportation, teleportation CLEARY does exist in the Naruto verse and every other character has proven it, so that claim right there is complete and utter BS. Plus the speed difference isn't all that frantic as both characters can dodge light speed before so even though Luffy is faster Naruto with hie teleportation he should be able to keep up with Luffy on top of that Kurama can easily detect and sense Luffy simply by sensing his emotions, plus Naruto has much more awareness than Luffy has so Luffy seeing the future is not that big of a help. Remember just because he knew an attack is coming doesn't always mean he can react to it in time especially against someone who is almost as fast him. So even though Luffy is faster, Naruto still has much more ways to work around it.

As for hand to hand combat and close range combat I agree Luffy takes the edge (at least until Naruto enters Kurama Chakra Mode and Six Paths Sage Mode where Naruto can create a lot of tailed beast arms to clash with Luffy) But Naruto HAS fought people like Luffy before especially during and after the war arc, like Madara who has gone toe to toe with the Kage and in with Ten Tails form he becomes more powerful, Kaguya who can create and destroy her own dimensions which are at the size of the stars.

Further backup with the space time statement by Black Zetsu.

And even Otsutsuki clan members are almost on Kaguya's level. Naruto clearly has fought characters that like (if not better than) Luffy.

So his next point is that is actually a claim that really pissed me off and that is Naruto can't damage Luffy.... It's not really that bad until he says and I quote "Luffy's weakness is infinity."

WHAT THE F**K?! That is LITERALLY a no limits fallacy! And his reasoning as to why Naruto can't damage is beyond ridiculous, first of all Nami is a terrible example of why Naruto can't damage Luffy WTF did you get that argument from? And second of all according to his logic that means Mario and Sonic's super forms (Power Stars, Invincibility Leaf and Chaos Emeralds and Super Emeralds respectively) are invincible because they can't be damaged let alone touched by anyone and anything despite the fact that it's a GAMING MECHANIC! Another thing is that this means that Mega Man's weakness is infinite because he has been damaged by enemies like Wily's lasers that move 250x-412 times the speed of light, that also means that everything character from Harry Potter can't be damaged as long as they have the Shield spell when avoiding attacks at normal human speeds, this also means that Kirby has infinite durability due to his rounded body. That is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Just because someone is stated to be quote on quote invincible doesn't mean they proved it, they still needs to prove and just because Luffy is made of rubber and can increase the rubber body doesn't mean he can't be touched or damaged by anyone he's not a f**king gag character in fact if Luffy was that durable than how come a normal attack can damage like a sword can damage Luffy's base form? How come someone like Smoker can by pass his rubber body with his smoke abilities? On top of that how come his battle in the mirror dimension with Katakuri, Katakuri was still able to emanate him while he was at Gear 3rd? That logic makes no sense what's so ever. Why on Earth could you say that Luffy cannot be damaged by any form of power? It doesn't matter how tough he is Luffy can still be damaged he's with brute force and if someone is strong enough they will definitely kill him so that excuse I complete and utter bullsh*t I can't believe he used No Limits Fallacy as evidence for his claim.

Quick heads up: As for their healing factors both Naruto and Luffy should be even in that category cause they appear similar but he says that just because Naruto lost his arm means Luffy has a better healing factor maybe that can be the case however like Naruto, Luffy has never been shown to regenerate from losing limbs so healing factor doesn't really matter.

The final claim is that Luffy by the end of the series will be stronger than ever other pirate and become King of the Pirates and be stronger than characters like Blackbeard who has been stated to destroy the planet, the One Piece earth is much larger than our own and is about half the size of the sun. Okay so while I do agree that Pirate King Luffy will be the strongest in that world by the end of the series but here is the problem with this. We have NEVER seen any proof of Blackbeard destroying the world let alone HAVING the power to destroy the world and in his previous calculations that destroying the One Piece world is about 29,000 yottatons of TNT which is WAY too much of a highball especially since their is no evidence that supports this. Even if that was the case Naruto fought and beat Kaguya who with six dimensions has stars in then as I've shown earlier. So that's star level right there. In the future we may potentially see Luffy reach up to that powerful but right now he's not there yet especially since he doesn't know what's going to happen in the future Shock just predicting it and it could end up being false. Luffy may be faster, tougher, more skilled, and a better ranged fighter but Naruto has the strength, durability, training, more combat experience, more versatile abilities and incredible power is too much for Luffy too handle. Now I'm not saying Luffy stomps because even before the end of the series Luffy is still planet level as he destroyed a mirror dimension before, and to destroy the One Piece world since it's the size of the sun than that means Luffy is Star level as well. I just feel like Idea Shock overplayed Luffy and downplayed Naruto, when Naruto is much stronger than he thinks plus he said Naruto didn't become the strongest to become Hokage which is wrong Naruto said that he was going to surpasses the previous Hokage and by the war arc Naruto was already Hokage level Kakashi himself even said Naruto surpassed the Hokage.

And thanks to the Sage of the Six Paths powers Naruto at the end of the series is the strongest alongside Sasuke so that's another claim that's been debunked.
