Maurice stared at Carrie while looking out for any of her tricks.

Carrie: I won't attack you since it's your birthday darling so relax and since it's your birthday you can ask me anything. Happy birthday by the way.

He stared at her, not trusting her at all until he saw her pout towards him.

Carrie: Ask me a question.

He thought about it before shrugging.

Maurice: *thoughts* It's my birthday so what the heck. *looks up at her* How powerful are you?

Carrie: I really can't say much about my power.

Maurice: Why are you here?

Carrie: I can't come see my darling?

He stare at her with confusing before shrugging and move to the next question.

Maurice: Is there anyone else that with you that near or equal you in power?

Carrie: No. *thoughts* I didn't say I wouldn't lie.

He was surprised if he had to be honest but felt a something flash across his mind at seeing her necklace.

Maurice: Why does that necklace look familiar?

Carrie smirk toward him and tug at her necklace.

Carrie: Do you really want to know?

He nodded much to her joy and look at him in the eyes.

Carrie: It came from you when you give it to one of your very first friend.

Maurice suddenly remember that memory and that he give that necklace to his very first friend before he meet Sam and Mark and turn to look at her with anger.

Maurice: You kill her didn't you?!

Carrie: No, I didn't.

He stared at her before he remember again and that his friend was shadowy figure that had to leave but as she did, he had given her a necklace that Emblem had brought for him.

Maurice: Then, how did you get it?

She thought about how to answer his question while he waited.

Carrie: I didn't kill her alright. I can't really answer that question now.

She felt his power slowly rising and know his eyes turn red while feeling the air turn hot and while she could ease handle him,

Carrie: I said ask me anything but doesn't mean I have to answer.

He stop his power as his eye turn back to normal and the heat went away.

Carrie: Anymore question?

Maurice: Why are you starting a war?

She just give him a smile that was evil and dark before turning around and look at the sky.

Carrie: You'll fine out if I'm defeated.

She hovered slightly and glance behind herself slightly.

Carrie: Until we meet again.

She flow up as he watch and head back and open the door, only to be near hit by blast of ice and know who it was and look to see Esdeath who covered in bruise and was p*ssed.

Maurice: *snickers* What happened?

Esdeath: *has skulls in her eyes* You know!

He shrugged smugly before they started fighting.
