Joel was gonna be a dad. Heh.. He just didn't know what to do at that moment. He was the most happiest person those months, patient mostly. Jaiden said he skipped work for weeks at times. She was happy for him and his wife.

He was tired though. Being one end of the spectrum of another person is hard. Especially when the other end is Ms.Stone...

* the male voice was back*

 It was about the time His little girl had her first birthday when Joel went back to work. He was getting more income because of Jaiden's weakness for kids,  she really liked to babysit when she was a teen.

It was also about the time he started looking for a student. So he went to the city. The blue orb gave him an ability to see into people's souls. He was looking for someone who knew the rules and knows a way to slip past the rules without breaking them.

He was across the street from a small cafe, when he saw a person in their late teens walk out of it with a crap ton of coffee and donuts. 

Hi. My name is Timothy Sambriano. Or TS for short.. I was that kid with the donuts. I am a teal color hedgehog, with no idea what was going to happen.

I was an intern at a local Lawyers office. It was the ending of my first week there and I wanted to help since the boss broke the coffee machine, but all those lawyers did was paper work, go to Court, drink coffee, review files, more paper work , and drink more heavy amounts of coffee. 

Funny fact about me I absolutely hate coffee but I didn't mind getting it for them.

So Joel did his thing and he read my soul. Without my permission I might add...

I was wanting to be a lawyer though.. So I was studying e v e r y t h i n g  I could get my hands on about the law.

I wanted to learn how the courtroom works, I wanted to feel how it felt to win and loose a case, I wanted to learn everything there is to know about being a lawyer.

But that was five minutes before I got hit by a lady going 75 mph and touching up her lipstick... 

Before I knew what happened, Joel reacted so quickly.. He healed me. I had a very hard elbow to the ribs from death and he fixed it...

I woke up on a park bench. Joel was sitting under a tree just a few feet away. 

He looked over at me. He had no emotion, no reaction, all he did was stare at me.

Tbh his golden eyes felt like they were piercing through my soul. They probably wer- HOLD UP A SECOND. . . .

JOEL!

* that girl's voice came back*

I stood up from the bench and he looked in front of him and smiled.

He got up, walked over to me and asked me this: " are you happy at your job kid?"

He stared at me. I said " its a job some people would kill for."

"But are you happy? The way they treat you is harsh, the pay just barely seems fair and the person your assisting is really .." 

"Snobby?" 

He nodded. "What if you could still help people, but not by being their lawyer but by working with me?"

"And what exactly is that?"

"Saving people who need saving.. " 

" see that would be cool if I was twelve." 

" kid , if it was up to me you'd already be a lawyer. But your soul is something I'm kinda looking for."

"Excuse me?" 

" I was looking for you. Your soul. But if you don't want to follow along, I will find some one else like you."

" yeah you do that." I started to walk away.

OH, did I mention Joel was on a baseball league when he was 12? His whole team was 14-17 year olds..

He held the orb in his hand. THEN HE THREW IT AS HARD AS HE CAN AT MY HEAD.

Tbh it was a beautiful throw...or that is what Joel told me.

And when I woke up I was in my room but, it wasn't MY room. I'd look out the window and usually would see my neighbor likely watering plants but I saw was blue trees- with purple and pink bark? Strange right?

Well to me it was.
