Hello, *the voice on the recording was a male's voice, it was kind of deep and it sounded strange.*

This is about a person named Joel. He recently went through a lot. You. Could say he's a Grieving friend. Me and my partner will tell you his story of origin.  *the voice stopped a second. Probably to remember this story.*

When Joel was just a kid he had a friend, he always called her stone. It was after her personality. They where close friends. One year they met this girl, she was a cat like stone, but everything about her was different then anybody they've ever met.

She had an ability they never thought existed. She could sketch things and make them become REAL. 

Joel and Stone became very close friends with this girl.

One year Joel and the girl had lost touch with Stone.

This was when The girl matched Joel with the one he was to be married to. Which they did marry, a few years later. That dont matter for now, But, by the time Stone came back she became insane in more ways then one. 

Joel had just turned 26, and Stone had turned 24

The girl gave Joel and Stone a job. It was a simple job. Go out and help the people of Scarlet City. 

"The first person they help will determine their paths. Joel and Stone are not alike anymore. " said the girl.

Joel helped the innocent. Joel.. He saved my life.

* a female voice came over the recording.* 

Stone helped people too. But it got others killed..

"Collateral damage" she called it.. * the female voice sounded angry and upset but kept going. *

Stone made the rules too bendable, she killed innocents, she broke laws and boundries, she was a force of death and havoc on the people of Scarlet City.

She caused the death of my closest friend... 

* the male voice came back on, the girl was too angry to continue.* 

One day, their employer desired to send herself and the two. 'Helpers' to a closed off vacation spot near the mountians.

When Joel Got there he saw both his partner and his employer sitting on the ground, just talking.

" you both need balance," their boss said. 

"So I'm giving you something. But, this will seal your fates and cause you trouble and madness. Are you sure you are willing to sacrifice all of that?" She asked sketching away in her drawing book.

"I'm willing." Replied the naive Joel. He didn't know exactly how much it would cost him after this day..

"I'm game- but are we really going to do this yin&yang jazz?" Asked Stone.

"Yea, we are going to do the yin&yang jazz. You two are two ends of a spectrum that has yours and others lives in the balance. I don't want you both loosing the lives of your loved ones." The boss stopped sketching. 

"So are you truely 'game'? " the boss looked at both Joel and Stone, and again they agreed. 

"Good.  Now," the boss showed them what she was sketching.

Two colored orbs, one red, one blue. It looked like they had stars in them- they were beautiful.. 

She put her hand over the first one, which was the blue one, and it came to life.  She said to Joel, " you are the helper of the innocent, I am grateful, you are a crafter, you are the blue." She picked up the blue orb and put it to Joel's head. This made him absorb the orb in a forceful yet not painful way.

She looked at Stone with nearly a cold look, and said " you are a destroyer. You break people to your benefit. You are weaker then Joel. You are the red." With that she did the same with Stone as she did Joel but with the red orb. 

"When it comes time to change, from warrior to teacher, you'll know. But for now, follow me. " she flipped the paper and did the same thing she did with the orbs, she laid her hand on the paper and it came to life. But, this time it was a blue portal.

She walked through and they followed. When they went through they ended up in a house- it wasn't theirs but it felt oddly like home.

* the female voice was back*

It was like Joel and Stone were just getting to know the place when all of a sudden they felt  light headed, they both looked at each other before falling to the ground.

When Joel woke up he found himself in a bed, he glaced around the room that was basically empty.  At that moment, Joel was alone. He was trying to remember what had happened. That was when His employer came through the door as quietly as anyone could.

"Oh your awake! How's my little warrior doing?"  She had a smile on her face it was the kind of smile that said something was off.

"fine, I guess?" Joel went to get out of the bed, but she made him lay back down.

"Why did I pass out?" Joel asked as his boss sat down in a chair next to his bed. 

"You didn't pass out," his employer gazed about the room looking for the right words to put it.

"You and Stone, uh. Fell into an coma for the past month." She had that 'pls don kill me' look on her face. 

"DID YOU SAY A MONTH?!" Joel friggin jumped outta bed, but when he was fixing to jog outta the room he face planted the floor, he couldn't walk!

He pushed himself up, he stared at his boss from the floor. "What happened to me Jaiden?" The tone in his voice was angry and had a worry feel about it.

"That's what happens when your in your late 20's and has been in an coma for 30 days with no movement to the legs." She was hiding something. 

"What are you keeping from me?"

"Wow it does work fast."

"What works fast?"

Jaiden helped Joel up and to the bed. She made him sit down, then she lightly rubbed her hand to his back. 

He winced in pain when she got close to the shoulder blades. 

"Well, there ya go that pain you just felt is the reason why you were out of it. It took some time to get them to .. 'Grow' .." Jaiden pat Joel on the head.

"'Grow'? What's growing? What did you do to me-" 

"Please keep calm you might blow this place sky high, you have powers that are unpredictable and may be highly unstable" Joel liked at Jaiden with 'what' look on his face.

*the male voice came back*

Joel had that face like he was ticked but he had to stay calm by all means.

"Stop avoiding my question Jaiden."

"You are 'growing' wings Joel. So is Stone, and believe me when I say red wings are more harsh then blue."

"What did you do to Sharon!?" Joel is now mad, he didn't want Stone like this too.

"Stone will be fine, she's a tough cookie. But you have to lay down, I'm going to check up on Stone." 

That day was a long day for Joel. But it wasn't his longest. It was a few years later, after Joel mastered the blue Orbs' powers and after he married his wife, Sameen.

He had a feeling, it was time for him to be a teacher.  He wanted to talk to Jaiden though- he wanted to make the right decision with his employer's opinion. 

He talked with Jaiden for an hour before making the choice. Jaiden told Joel that its a good idea to choose with heart and not mind, cheesy as it sounds he did just that.

But before he went looking for a student he went home. When he got home, Sameen had news for him. Joel was gonna be a father.
