Never have I experienced such an awful feeling as you, Doubt.

Thank you for showing me so many of my flaws.

Thank you for giving me numerous so-called I cant's.

Thank you for hiding in the deepest, darkest corners of my mind... Only popping out whenever great moments happen.

Thank you for popping out. Thank you for whispering words of fear and wariness in my ear constantly.

Thank you for making me a nervous wreck.

Thank you for making my heart pound whenever I face a seemingly impossible obstacle.

And most importantly:

Thank you, Doubt—For showing me that no matter how many times you remind me of my failures, giving me a reason to turn down chances that I might take, I can always block you out.

I can always ignore your false warnings, as I know what you say will never benefit me, anyway.

Thanks for showing me how to rise up for my own good—Even if it means having to stay up at night, repeatedly muttering the same words of "I can do this," over and over...

Because I know that no matter what you said in those times when you aimlessly muttered in my head, I now know that I really am capable of greatness.
