So, this is the 31 Creepy Words challenge. It's pretty straightforward—Write a short horror story consisting of only 31 words, then tag a bunch of people to do the challenge as well.

Here goes nothing:

Slivers of moonlight drifted lazily through the young girl's window as she waited in rising anticipation, as outside her house stood a translucent maiden clothed in white, offering a sad smile.
