Name- Auxilium (meaning "aid")
Gender- they are physically genderless and go by they/them pronouns
Back story- Let me start off with saying that if someone of this speciesare born, they get the patterns on their body from their birth father, and the colour(s) from their birth mother. The colour of their fur will normally be similar to a mix between the parents.
When Auxilium was born, their father was furious to find that the patterns on the child's body looked nothing like the ones on his own. So he made sure that, for the sake of his reputation, he gets rid of the kitten.
The mother refused, and insisted that they keep them for at least one year, so they don't die. He agreed, but still treated the kitten like a piece if shit.
At the age of three, the kitten found out that they could hop dreams, after fooling around circling a homeless man. They soon resorted to that life, because not only was food no longer a problem, but every dream is a new world.
Why they hop dreams- After a while of hopping dreams, Auxilium found that some dreams were rather unpleasant to be in, so they just hopped to a new one that was happy. After a while, he hopped into a dream that was truly horrifying the dreamer, and as soon as her eyes met the cat, part of her dream began to lighten up and filled with things she finds comforting and familiar. This, they then used to their advantage. Auxilium wanted dreamer's dreams to be lovely and not something to be terrified of, so they began helping those with dreams of suicide, bullies, and monsters under the bed.
