So... We came home today, and the first thing we hear is:

"Oh my God he's gone!"

So instantly Lauren and I are panicking, and we burst into the house asking what was wrong only to find that this afternoon our mum and stepdad had gotten us a kitten, but he was missing and was thought to have exited through the front door.

...

"Find him!"

"Look everywhere!"

"Find that puss!"

We were bolting around the house for the feline for fifteen minutes, scared that something might have happened to it, until--

"Mew~"

It turns out he was sitting on a blanket behind the sofa...

So yeah. We have a kitten now. He's nine weeks old and an absolute joy to be around.

We haven't thought of an official name for him yet. But we have two possible candidates.

Simba.

And Hunter, as he tends to pounce a lot.

But anyways, yes. We have a kitten.
