Note: Both Lisa and Len have been through so much together. This is how they felt through some of it, and how they got past it.

"Lisa..."

Lisa stared at her brother wide-eyed. She'd hoped her brother wouldn't have to see her. That Lewis would find her and understand what she'd done. Hopefully, he'd even care. She doubted that last part.

"Please, Lisa. Don't do this," Len begged desperately. He couldn't do this without her.

"I'm so sorry, Lenny, but I can't do this anymore. I want to be free, and this is the only way."

"No, no it's not! We'll... we'll find a way! I promise! Just... please, step down from the chair and throw me the rope."

She shook her head sadly.

"I can't, Lenny. There's no point anymore. Lewis... he'll kill us! If he doesn't, he'll make the rest of our lives hell! I won't do that, not anymore."

Len stared at her.

The tears were already there, but he didn't care anymore.

All he knew was that his sister was about to commit suicide and there was nothing he could do about it because Lewis wouldn't care. He wouldn't even take her to a hospital.

He couldn't do anything.

He knew that.

But he couldn't just watch.

"I... I wish you weren't doing this, Lise. But I can't stop you. So... I guess I'll just leave."

Len felt so defeated. Lewis had control over him. Lisa was taking away the one thing he cared about. What did he even have anymore?

He walked out of the bathroom, praying to any God there was that she survived. And that Lewis didn't see him with tears in his eyes. He'd get beaten for that.

He walked slowly to his room (more like his prison cell. The windows literally had bars on them).

Maybe... maybe someday he'd get out of this hellhole.

"Len?"

Len didn't even hear her as he sat on his bed.

He just stared lifelessly in front of him. 

He couldn't think, couldn't process. Everything hurt.

"Lenny? Are you okay?"

He just stared ahead, his tears now gone. They had dried up, like his soul.

"LENNY!"

Didn't even flinch.

She started shaking him, but he barely noticed.

Then Lisa did something she'd forever regret.

"Lewis!" she screamed, praying he'd snap Len out of... whatever this was.

He stormed in, looking angry.

He walked over to Len and slapped him.

No reaction.

Then he slapped Lisa.

Len turned to him with fire in his eyes and charged him.

He pushed his father onto the ground and kicked him. Hard.

Then he gave Lisa a hug.

"Please don't ever do that to me again," he begged, tears mixing with the sweat in her hair.

She nodded against his chest.

"I promise," she said.

"I love you," she whispered.

Len nodded. "I love you too."
