In a weird way, these are OCs. Technically, it's not Kendra nor Carter. These are mine! Mwa ha ha!

Out of all of their lives, Kendra did have a favorite.

She didn't remember which one it was, but it had definitely been memorable.

...

"John!" she screamed, trying desperately to push, but it was so hard!

The baby was big, and her hole, much as she would love to believe differently, was small.

It wasn't working out very well.

But she couldn't just leave the baby inside her! Or let doctors cut into her.

With that thought, she gave another push. Now, she could hear crying. If she hadn't been before, she was sobbing now.

"It's okay, baby. Just keep pushing," John soothed.

She really wanted to scream, "No, it's not! There is a giant baby inside me, and I have to somehow push it out! You try it sometime!" But she couldn't. John didn't deserve that.

"I'm trying," she muttered breathlessly.

She pushed again, harder, and she relieved when the doctors said she could stop.

"I want to see him!" she demanded. Now that the pain was past, she wanted to make sure her baby was alright and/or keep the doctors from hurting him/her. They had wanted the gender to be a surprise.

"It's a girl!"

Pam sighed.

The doctors handed the girl (soon to be named Riley) to her, and Pan could honestly say that she had never seen anything so beautiful.

"The party has arrived!" someone yelled.

Pam didn't glance up from her baby girl. Security would handle it.

"Ohhh, Priestess!" a familiar voice called.

No! Not yet! Not this soon after her birth!

"John!" Pam screamed. She knew she wouldn't be able to get away. Her stomach was still swollen.

But John could. Riley could.

"You have to go!"

John nodded with tears in his eyes.

John spared one last glance at her as he ran.

"I love you," he whispered.

Pam nodded. She had accepted her fate the second she heard his voice.

"I love you, too, John. Now run!"

John ran, and Pam just hoped it would be enough.

"Name her Riley!" she screamed, hoping to get Vandel's attention and that John would get the message.

Suddenly, she heard a scream. Two, actually.

"No!!!" Pam screamed.

She knew those screams.

"Hello, Priestess."
