TW: Racism and cussing

I hate my school.

Plan and simple, I hate it.

But my God, if Friday wasn't one of the worst days of my life, I don't know what would be.

So yesterday was "Fiesta Day". If you don't know what that is, don't worry, I didn't either, until yesterday.

Fiesta day, to save you a Google search, is a festival that I'm pretty sure is held only in Colorado, though I could be wrong.

But whatever, point is, it's not celebrated in Mexico.

Also, for some context, my school dress code does not allow hats/hoods on in the building. Also also, I'm Mexican American, if you didn't know.

Now yesterday, a bunch of girls showed up in sombreros, two of them with mini piñatas, one of them shaped like a taco.

One  of them even played Latin music in L.A., claiming it was Mexican music.

All of these girls are white as well, and have literally no Latin blood in them.

Now question, do you think this is racist?

THESE BITCHES GOT AWAY WITH IT TOO, DIDN'T GET IN TROUBLE AT ALL, ACTUALLY GOT ENCOURAGED BY OTHER STUDENTS AND EVEN THE TEACHERS.

THE L.A. SUBSTITUTE TEACHER JUST FUCKING LET THE GIRL PLAY LATIN MUSIC, EVEN LET HER TOSS AROUND THE TACO PIÑATA TOO.

THEY WERE ALLOWED TO WEAR HUGE FUCKING SOMBREROS TOO. ALL. FUCKING. DAY!

JUST- WHAT THE FUCK! THE RULES LITERALLY STATE THAT PEOPLE AREN'T ALLOWED TO WEAR HATS AND THAT ANY RASIST BEHAVIOR IS AN IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION!

AND I KNOW THAT RULE IS TRUE BECAUSE MY BEST FRIEND GOT TWO BOYS SUSPENDED FOR RACIST COMMENTS. WHICH BY THE WAY, I ASKED HER IS SHE WAS PISSED ABOUT IT, SHE SAID SHE WAS, EVEN ASKED ANOTHEE FRIEND, WHO IS ALSO WHITE, SHE SAID SHE THOUGHT IT WAS ANNOYING TOO.

BUT THESE GIRLS GOT AWAY WITH IT BECAUSE IT'S A "Celebrated holiday in Mexico."

IT. ISN'T.

AND FIVE MINUTES OF RESEARCH WOULD PROVE THAT. I LITERALLY GOOGLED IT DURING SCIENCE, SO DON'T SAY THE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO.

On a lighter note, I'm finally learning how to play the electric guitar.

Y'know, the one I've had basically all my life that nobody bothered to teach me, so I'm teaching myself.

Yeah, that one.

It's pink and has an emoji sticker I put on there from when I was little :)

The sticker is starting to tear off though, but it's fine.

I really just want to learn that one guitar riff from Sincerely Me, tbh.
