So one of my best guy friends is finally getting a phone, which is great because I really love talking to him.

So I'm thinking about asking for his number,

Buuuuut.....

My family likes to ask if I'm dating a boy when I'm smiling at my phone grandpa literally INSISTS on asking if I'm texting my "boyfriend". (And like, no, why the fuck would I be doing that, I'm thirteen, God.)

And so if my mom decides to go through my phone, 'cause she does that, along with my grandma, they would see his number.

But I also love him! He's an amazing friend and talked to me when I first started feeling depressed. (He's very sweet and literally the best person in the world, which is another reason I love him so much.)

So I'm ✨conflicted✨
