The next morning, Katherine gets ready to go just a bit earlier then usual and says goodbye to Savannah before she heads out the door and walks towards the factory at a bit of a faster pace and after she goes inside and greets a few monsters who have already arrived, she heads towards the locker room and turns on a tv in there (Katherine, Diana, Destiny and Lily have made the locker room as their own since they are the only ones who use it) and turns on another early morning monster horror movie and actually becomes quite scared since this movie reminds her all too much about Serge when the door to the locker room opens which freaks Katherine out just a little bit but she is relieved when she sees it is only Diana, Destiny and Lily and when they see her they each greet her as Diana says "Well, your here early." To which Katherine replies "Yeah, I guess I was just ready to go today." However Diana quickly picks up that there is more going on as she says "You just wanted to get here so you could wait for your dreamboat to arrive." And Katherine replies "Randall is not my dreamboat Diana." Lily then replies "Judging from what Sully and Mike told us when they called us last night after they got home he certainly is Kat." Which makes Katherine finally give in and she says "Okay, okay, maybe I do have some really deep feelings for him." To which Destiny replies "We knew it!" Katherine then answers "Well I sort of have to admit, I think he is quite hot." So Diana says teasingly "Seems like you have more then just really deep feelings for him after saying things like that Kat, if I didn't know any better I would say that you have got the hots for him." Then Katherine says giggling a little as her scales again turn a blush pink color "Oh Shut up!" As they head out of the locker room only to find Randall outside the door eavesdropping a little bit and Katherine says smiling "Hey Randy." To which Randall replies smiling back "Hello Doll." Then she says to him realizing he probably heard everything she said in there "Wait did you hear everything I just said?" And he nods as Diana, Destiny and Lily giggle a little bit and she says realizing that they knew the entire time that he was out there listening to them but also giggling while doing it "You knew he was out there the entire time didn't you?" And her three work friends nod as Katherine turns back to Randall and says as they wait to head to the scare floor while Lily and Destiny head in to get the doors ready for Katherine and Diana "Remind me to slap them later." He then replies as he laughs a little too, thinking her laugh is super adorable "Okay." After this he says "Now that they involuntarily made you confess your true feelings for me I guess I owe you a confession myself, Katherine, I haven't been able to take my eyes off of you since yesterday which I'm sure you noticed before we talked, something about you draws me to you, I don't know what it is, but whatever it is just does it. Katherine I..." But before he can finish she says "Randy I know what your problem is because I noticed it while I was walking home with Mike and Sully yesterday, you love me, you just haven't had much experience with that before and I want you to know that I love you too." Randall then stares at her shocked as he says (Not to mention that Sully is staring at them with a look of disapproval since he still isn't too pleased with how close Katherine is getting to Randall) "You do?" To which she nods and says in a whisper "Yes Randy, I truly and deeply love you." As she gently brushes her tail under his chin a little and her scales turn a loving red color signaling to him that she is telling him the truth and nothing else. Not only that but as she tells him this her words seem to sound like a bit of a purr, the noise only her sisters usually get to hear and as Randall holds her close to him she continues to make lizard-like purrs to him through her throat and he smiles at her. As this is going on another someone who is not so happy about this whole thing is also glaring at them, but this time, it's not Sully staring at them, it's Serge and he is very unhappy about this whole situation but knows as long as Randall is nearby, he can't do a damn thing to Katherine, no matter how much he wants to. But before Randall and Katherine can get any more lovey dubby, the scarers are signaled to come out onto the scare floor and Katherine says cussing a little since this has ruined her lovely moment "Damn it!" However, Randall says reassuring her as he gently strokes her back with his tail and whispers softly to her "Doll it's fine, you know I won't be working too far away from you and we will be able to get together during break in a while." And Katherine says pouting a bit "I know but it ruined our fun!" He though says knowing it's time to get a bit more serious as he nuzzles her (yes he does this as a bit of affection) towards her station "Katherine, it's time for you to put numbers on the board, they aren't going to go up any higher by themselves."  And she replies "I know that!" Then she finally goes to her station and once she gets there Lily says "So, you and lover boy talked things out I see and took your relationship a small step forward." And Katherine nods and says "So, who is on our scaring agenda today?" And Lily says "Well first we've got a four year old girl." To which Katherine says "Okay, I'm ready for this." And Lily replies "You are always ready to scare human children Kat." To which she replies "Well what can I say, it's in my blood since most of my scaring techniques I got from my mother." Then Lily answers her by saying "I bet you do Kat." Then Katherine begins scaring after the scarers are instructed to start and after scaring a few children and getting her score up Serge finally comes up to her and says "Are you drunk?' (Noting about the fact that he thinks she is an idiot for falling for Randall) and Katherine says with a snarky comment "I don't know mom, am I?" He then replies "You have gotten very snippy you know?" To which Katherine replies "Cause I am not a toy you can just badmouth whenever you'd like Serge!" However Serge replies in a bit of a growl "I don't think so my dear, I think it has something to do with your new 'interest', I think that your new 'friend' has rubbed some of his short-tempered manner onto you!" Then Katherine says with her usually sheathed claws now out and her scales turning an angry red "That's enough Serge!" But he says "There is no one to protect you right now Katherine so if I have to result to violence then I will!" And this time she replies with her fronds bristling with anger "You mean like you would do every freaking night after you came home drunk (yes he did come to Katherine's drunk and beat her up a few times like her father)! Well I don't think so!" But before Serge can spring at Katherine, Sully notices and he says "Serge, she said to stop! So stand down!" After this, Serge finally backs down and returns to scaring some more and Katherine says smiling to Sully and with her scales and fronds back to normal "Thank you Sully." To which Sully replies "Anytime Katherine, now you can get back to scaring." And Katherine nods with agreement and she returns to working.
