~Chapter 3~
P.o.V. Ink
(Y/N) slammed the door behind her, grumbling something about a 'spot' as she went. Papyrus groaned, rolling his eyes.
"She's going to her spot." He said with annoyance evident. "We're not gonna see her for a few days."
Chara huffed. "It was just an opinion. She didn't have to get so hard-headed about it."
"Chara, you know how she is about that stuff. It's like her trigger."
I raised a brow as I listened. "I apologize, but what am I missing here?" I asked.
Paps looked at me with a weak smile. "(Y/N)'s pissed off. I know because she claimed to be going to Muffet's but turned towards the Waterfall's as soon as the door closed. She's going to her 'spot' she goes when she's done being around people. No one can remember how to find it but her."
I smiled. "Well I could try! I did make this AU after all."
Paps grinned. "Actually, that would be great. The sooner we get her back here we can work on getting my bro back."
I nodded. "Any hints as to her location?"
Chara piped up this time. "She's only taken me there once, but I slept most of the way there and back. It's behind a little runoff waterfall. She pulls a lot of human junk from the waterfalls and tinkers with it. That and she pulls all the books and pages she finds. Even if it's one page, she saves it and drys it out. So there's paper everywhere in the cave. And a lot of mythology stuff."
I nodded and tore a rift in the wall. "I'll go find her and bring her back." I said curtly, stepping through to my first suspected spot. Thus began the search.

You woke up from a horrible dream, screaming a blood-curdling cry even louder than the waterfall. Your heart pounded as images repeated in your head. You kept seeing a fight. Papyrus got hurt, by Blueberry?
You shook your head. That couldn't be right. Blueberry would never hurt Papyrus. And besides, that bastard had him. Did Error have the power to make Sans do such a thing?
You cradled your on-growing headache. Feeling stress creeping to dangerous heights, you snatched a few pencils and a clean sheet of paper. Your hand moved on its own accord, my eyes merely an audience as pieces were put together. You folded the paper and drew again. Your stress produced image after image, not really knowing what you were drawing until you had stopped drawing. You found yourself with each page being on a part of a whole picture. You huffed and stood from your couch. You collected the papers and filled an old bucket with water. Bringing both papers and water to the cave wall, you started placing papers on the cave wall, first dipping them in the water to make them cling to the wall.
You pieced it together and stepped back, looking at the mural of work. You didn't have a clue as to why you drew it. Back to back stood two skeletons, both of which you recognized. One was the damned monster than had ruined you. He with one hand raised, eyes staring off into a night sky, only broken by silver moonlight. On his other side their was your savior in beige. Ink stood, a slight grin across his face. He to had his hand raced but he looked off into a white expanse. Paints and Ink curled off his fingers, extending towards white walls as though trying to paint them.
Overall it looked good, but it held no reason.
You peered at it closely, finding your gaze continuously looking to Error. Anger rose in your cheeks and your released an anguished cry as you clawed at the wet paper around his face. It crumbled easily and you threw the paper pulped into the water fall, you sighed, and returned to your couch. You retrieved a new book and tried to read, but couldn't focus.
"Gah! Why does that goddamn skeleton have to exist?!" You cried.
"Which one?" Someone replied.
You squealed slightly, jumping begin the couch and peering around it at the newcomer.
Ink stood, examining the walls of drawings. "These are really good." He said, a smile on his face.
His gaze slid nonchalantly to the remains of the mural. "Why did you draw me?"
You shrugged. "I don't know. I don't know why I draw any of the things I do. They just happen when I'm stressed or angry. Or really really really really bored. It's my secret place no one knows.... about.... WAIT! How the hell did you find me?!"
Ink looked at you and chuckled. "I made this universe (Y/N). I know all the nooks and crannies. That and Paps gave me a hint as to your location."
He looked again at his mural and he touched it gently. "Where's the other half?" He asked.
You froze. "How did you know there was another part?" You asked.
"This one just seems unbalanced." He answered simply.
You took a moment and laughed to yourself. "It's were it should be. In the garbage." You hissed coldly, glaring bullets into the destroyed pulp.
Ink looked at you with concern. "Hey (Y/N), you okay?" He asked.
You shook your head with a quiet laugh. "I'm fine Ink, I'm just pissed."
He walked towards you and glanced at the other end of the couch, silently asking if he could sit. You nodded and he sat, your feet sitting in his lap.
"What are you mad about?" Ink asked softly, keeping eye contact.
You sighed and ran your hand down your face. "I'm sorry that you have to deal with my shit Ink. I'm just triggered way too easily because of my... situation."
"The one with Error or something else?" He raised a 'brow,' looking almost like he knew the answer.
"It's a combination. There's this whole Frisk ordeal with an angry spirit in my head and then there's my past which is SO FUCKING SENSITIVE EVEN MENTIONING IT CAN MAKE ME SNAP!"
Ink flinched away slightly as you took a few deep breaths. "I try to stay strong for them, my friends I mean, but I'm only one person. Sometimes I don't even believe that. With the way life's beaten me it's like everyone sees me as some unholy demon. I'm just so sick of life sometimes. If I didn't have Paps, or Chara, or..... Sans..... I'd have committed my final sin a long time ago."
Ink seemed surprised by the sudden flood of information. He'd known you'd nearly lost your right mind in that empty dimension without company, but he hadn't known that you were troubled before that.
You looked at his awestruck expression and you blushed. "My god Ink I'm SO sorry! I didn't mean to burden you with all that. God I'm such a fucking idiot." You groaned.
You brought a blanket over yourself and shifted to your side, squeezing your eyes shut and cursing yourself. There was an awkward silence as you waited for Ink to nope out and leave.
Instead, you felt a shoe fall off of your foot leaving you confused. You started to pull away the blanket away but another one was thrown atop you. You squeaked in surprise as a bone arm clamped around you leg, pinning you effectively.
"Hey?! What are you-"
Bone fingers danced on your feet, sudden laughter taking your body. Ink chuckled as you squirmed trying to free your leg. He tickled you aggressively until you were nearly shrieking with laughter.
"S-STOP! Mercy please!"
He chuckled as you flipped around. However he hadn't expected you to roll off the couch as you did. You locked one leg behind his back so he sat in between your legs. You rolled to the side, pulling both you and Ink off the couch. You released him midair, giggling as you fell. As gravity settled once again, you looked at the skeleton.
A deep cherry blush spread across your face as you looked at him. His head had landed against your stomach so he straddled you on the ground. He clearly hadn't noticed since he still chuckled as he lifted himself.
When you fell silent, he looked at you curiously. You blushed more and looked away for anything more interesting. He looked down and saw his position, then becoming a rainbow as he processed it.
"Oh! I'm sorry (Y/N)! I didn't realized I'd... uh..."
"It's okay Ink! It was an accident." You said sheepishly.
He got off of you promptly, offering a hand once he stood. You took it happily and he hoisted you up. You laughed quietly to yourself, pushing hair behind your ear.
"Uh, thanks... for that I mean."
Ink smiled widely. "No problem (Y/N). I figured you might need a pick-me-up."
He bent down and offered you your shoe. You shoved your foot into it and faked a curtsy.
"Thank you kind sir." You said with a terrible but thick British accent.
Ink returned it with a bow and you both chuckled. "So, are you ready to go back?" He asked.
You nodded and took his hand. "Open the rift Bob Ross, let's get home."
"Bob Ross?" He asked.
"It's a human thing."

You returned to find Napstablook blaring boring news to a snappy tune. Chara was once again pigging out on chocolate and Paps reclined in his seat with a cigarette in his teeth. You growled and immediately made a beeline to dispose of the disgusting thing.
You yanked out the cigarette and threw it out into the snow. "I swear to God Papyrus, I'll kill you next time you're smoking around Chara."
He looked back at you and smirked. "So Ink was able to entice you back here?" He asked.
"If by that you mean he asked me to come by politely after cheering me up, then yes."
Chara turned around excitedly. "Oooooo! How'd he cheer you up?" She asked.
"I tickled her."
Ink entered behind you, smiling. "You wouldn't believe how ticklish she is."
You elbowed him but it was too late. Chara was already buzzing with happiness. "SHIPPED!" She squealed, throwing chocolate in the air.
You sighed and snatched the chocolate from her, leaving not even a single kiss.
"No more chocolate for you. You're spazzing out."
"But (Y/N)!"
"No buts!"
You took a deep breath and stilled yourself. You retreated to the kitchen to lock up the chocolate. Returning quickly, you sat on the arm of the chair and looked at the three others.
"If we're all here now," you started. "I think it's about time we get a plan in place."
Paps smiled slyly and nodded. "I couldn't agree more."
