Hiccup's POV

I placed my hand on my face and I wasn't happy. I promised Astrid her room will be done by today! But I can't find anydragon who could help, who the hell took them?

With Toothless we were flying rapid speed searching for them, but they were nowhere to be found!

I groaned.

*Toothless* - Heather and Astrid.

- Let's say hello.

We barely managed to slow down and Astrid nearly fell off from the wind we created.

*Astrid* - HICCUP!

- Hehe. Sorry for that. Heather!

*Heather* - Go, check out the gronkels nest, Astrid.

*Astrid* - Um. Okay.

And she flew off.

- Where are the whisperers?

*Heather* - I don't know. - She shrugged. - By the way I have to take care of something, could you teach Astrid the first course?

- But... um. What's with that smile?

*Heather* - Ohhh nothing at allll....

- You hid the dragons, didn't you? Why?

*Heather* - I don't know what you are talking about .... hehe. Have fun, I know you will~ I won't disturb you two - cough -Now if you excuse me~

Suddenly I was tomato red. Ohhhh you little sneaky....

*Toothless* - Hehe, she knows about the yesterday :3

I didn't trusted my voice to say anything, meanwhile my bud turned to the gronkels. I calmed my head down, and just watched Astrid standing in the middle, petting the kind gronkels, whose were enjoying the attention. I watched the lovely scene, when a few of them spotted us.

Suddenly everyone of them charged at me, I tryed to escape but I had no chance. They jumped on me and started to lick me. It tickled me, so I laughed and so did Toothless but he was laughing at me... until he was surrounded with fans too.

It took me a while until I managed to get them off of me.

*Astrid* - I see your popularity is high among the dragons too.

- I know right.... and everyone wonders when I take off for a few days.

*Astrid* - You don't like it?

- It's tiring after a while. I see you get on well with them.

*Astrid* - Yeah! Actually they are very nice. Where's Heather?

- She has to go somewhere, so I take her place for now. How far did you get with the studies?

*Astrid* - We've just started to get around the basic species, and she was about to teach me how to train them.

- Great! My favorite part. Have you started getting books?

*Astrid* - What book?

- Oh. Um. Than lets go on with the dragons. The books about maps, how to read our books, we will learn the basics about the classes and crops.

*Astrid* - Sounds boring...

- You still have to take your exams to join. Come I'll show you how to earn a dragon's trust. - I walked up to a gronkel. - For first you have to get their attention. Second, give them respect, they are still fire splitter deadly creatures... and for last give them trust, put out your hand like this and if everything is fine, the dragon will lean into it. See? Good girl. Now, try it out.

She did it perfectly.

*Astrid* - Why do I have a feeling it's not that simple?

- With wild dragons you have to spend more time with earning their trust. Mostly you have to offer something. The easiest is the food but a good scratch is working too... but I'll show you that later.

*Astrid* - Okay.

- How about spending the day with dragons?

She nodded. Great! Heather, you'll be teaching the boring parts! HEHEHEEEE!

Gem's POV

I dove into the sea again, and now I was successful! I happily ate my fish and I flew above the so famous village. Few of them spotted me, but I didn't really care, because I didn't plan to spend this morning inside.

I found a great place on the beach as I wondered around, I sat down and enjoyed the daylights. I like this mission.

*?* - Get off that rock!

I barely raised my had to look at the intruder. Oh. Just a simple terror. Nyah. I don't want to deal with him. I turned to my other side.

I saw a shadow over me, and I rolled away.
The previous one tried to attack me, I stood up and faced him.

*agressive* - I told you to move!

- Ts. I don't want to fight but it's my place!

*agressive* - Took it if you want it!

Suddenly his little pack arrived. Only 8? I can handle that. However the leader seems to be more confident than that. He challenge me alone.

- Try me.

I huffed a but of fire, and he attacked. He shot fire at me, and as I jumped away, he leaped at me. I only stepped a bit away, and right before he would reach the ground I kicked into him, he fell on his back and I stood on him, and huffed a bit of smoke into his face.

He spun around and shoved me off, now the fight will take place in the air. He charged at me but I flapped in the last moment, he missed me, and  managed to kick him on his back.

What a surprise, he still want to fight.

He wanted to shot at me, but I was faster, I shot into his mouth, and with that his will to fight was totally lost. He reached the ground with a puff, and I landed next to him.

He started to crawl away, fearing me. Nah. I'm not that dangerous. I straightened up and bowed a bit, than I helped him back up, than went back to MY place and closed my eyes as I faced the Sun.

Next time when I opened my eyes, the 8 terror sit in front of me and their body language told me, I'm their new leader.

Hiccup's POV

The time passed by pretty fast, and we've talked nearly about every dragon, and how to train them in worse situation. Not the first course's lesson but I taught her anyway.

*Astrid* - How did you trained Toothless?

- Oh, he is in the highest class, hardest to earn their trust... and I guess I had luck.

She took an another bite of the pasta we've been eating.

*Astrid* - You know I'm interested in the details.

- Since you heard the story part... first I had to showed him I'm not going to harm him. I proved that with not killing him, keeping distance, and throwing far-far away my weapon. Than I offered food, since I realized he must be starving. Afterwards I spent many-many time with him in the cove, and I kept him entertained I guess and get used to each other. He is smart and gave signs what actions he liked and what not. For example when he drow something for me....

*Astrid* - DRAW?!

- Yes, because he saw me doodling into the sand with a stick, so he tried out too. I accidently stepped on a line and he growled. If I raised my leg he stopped. This was the "I mustn't step on the lines but everywhere else is okay."

*Astrid* - Really cool!

- I couldn't really test my theory but I guess night furies prefer to be unseen even if they are in sight. I accidently aproached him as I checked out his drawing, all I felt his breath on my back. I was so so scared, but his gorgeous scales just waited me to touch 'em! He closed one of his eye a bit and growled as I reached out. Soooo after a bit of hesitation I turned my head away and I held out my hand.... than I felt something in my palm. Toothless put his head into it, than flew off like, "What the heck did I do?!". Hehe.

*Astrid* - Awesome.

- Yes, it is. So if you have to train one, than you have to listen to the signs they give you, and follow their lead... or they might kill you. They are still dragons.

*Astrid* - I know, I know. And they always have something, something that you wouldn't even guess...

Gem's POV

After my nap, I thought about going back to the hut, but it would be quite difficult with that many follower... so instead of doing my job I was on a show around with them.

The Sun was going down, when I finally knew every good place on Berk, we watched the Sunset on a high rock. It reminded me Home, and a bit of the IceSanctuary without the ice.

When the darkness surronded us, and everyone went to sleep in a small cave where we barely fit, I sneaked out and flew back to the old lady.

I found her awake and my presence caught her off-guard, but than she went back to her work.

...

She was about to get down a pot from a higher self, but I did it for her. She was quite surprised but accepted my help. Afterwards she pointed what she wish me to do.

(A/N I wanted to make an extra long ch but ummm I had no clue how to continue... so in these few days I came up with a few idea and now I'll manage to make progress faster. :3 I'll try my best. Btw. Reveal is coming soon!

The next chapter will have more actions, but the end of the story is coming soon :/ I have a new idea that I haven't seen anywhere, but I still have lack of ideas on that... which doesn't matter yet, because I want to finish this one first. If someone is interested in my other story idea, write a pm or a comment and I'll send the basic idea and I would happily accept some help with a few thing. We might be even coop writers or I dunno ;D)
