Those of you who know me a bit better know I'm kind of insane, in a good way. I have a sort of weird quirky sense of humor. The things most normal people find funny don't really amuse me. I'm really sort of odd. I speak fluent sarcasm and smart-ass, so you kind of really can’t take most of what I say seriously. Or to heart.

Honestly, I’ve had people get truly offend by stuff I’ve said and I’m like, dude I was kidding. If you don’t know me a lot of what I say can be taken the wrong way simply because my sense of humor is really weird and my brain is in the gutter most of the time. I’m a giant child despite my age. I don’t want to grow up; it’s overrated to tell the truth. Getting old stinks. I like who I am, I won’t change because you don’t like my personality, so don’t ask me to. I’ve had people tell me to grow up and act my age. Why? I will be mature when I need to be, in the appropriate situations, but this is my personality and I refuse to be someone I’m not because someone else can’t handle it.

I like movies where things blow up and comedy (mostly rather immature comedy, like Mel Brooks or Monty Python!); I’m not gonna go watch some girly movie because I don’t like them. I like reading a lot of YA books because they’re GOOD and I like the authors. I get along better with people like half my age than with adults, which seems really strange and creepy to a lot of people but I have more in common with people that age. I read a lot of the same stuff and I like a lot of the same movies and some of the same music.

I’m also a total dork, I freely admit that. For instance, I walked around Disneyland with my daughter and her friends, we all were wearing matching tutus and I wore my Mickey ears (which I altered and put the S.H.I.E.L.D. symbol on the ear part, by the way) it was a lot of fun. I could really care less what people think. Heck I would have shown up dressed as Belle if the girls would have let me, lol. They killed that idea and decided on the tutus instead.

I tend to watch a lot of thing on the History channel, I find history fascinating. Also, I find the paranormal really cool, although I think UFO sighting stuff is sort of lame for some reason I can’t explain, probably because most of the shows come off sounding hokey. Same thing with the Bigfoot sighting shows.

I also tend to watch a lot of crime related shows, which may make a lot of people take a giant step back and narrow their eyes thinking, “This chick is probably hiding bodies in her basement.” Well first off, I live in Vegas, so no basement. Second, sorry to disappoint you but I’m not hiding any bodies anywhere. I simply find the way the criminal mind works fascinating. I think the reasoning behind why people do things is interesting. I think that’s why I like writing evil characters more, it’s fun coming up with their back-story, figuring out what made them who they are and why they became the person they are at that moment in time.
