DAY 1 : OBEDIENCE AND FORGIVENESS

🤲 YA ALLAH, on this day make my fasts the fasts of those who fast (sincerely), and my standing up in prayer of those who stand up in prayer (obediently), awaken me in it from the sleep of the heedless, and forgive me my sins ,O Creator of the worlds forgive me, Oh One who forgives the sinners.

Ya Ghafur, please forgive me for all the sins I have burdened myself with and I continue to do. I die a spiritual death each time I commit these sins Ya Rabb. You are so Merciful and kind, please forgive me, and give me the strength to keep away from them. These sins will be the cause of my destruction but your Mercy will be the cause of my salvation, Ya Kareem, please erase the record of all my sins and do not embarrass me on the Day of Judgment.

Ya Rabbi you are Al Sitteer - The One who Covers, Curtains and Conceals - please conceal and cover my sins. Ya Wadud, Allow me to be firm on your path and to follow your commandments with the utmost sincerity and love.

Ya Allah my hands are raised and my tears are falling. Be the witness of these tears on the day of judgment that fell from fear and love for you. Increase me in Ihsaan/Sincerity and keep me obedient till my very last breath.

Today is the first of Ramadan ya rabbi - I come to you humble and in hopes that you will erase my entire sins on the first day. Grant me your mercy and forgiveness.
