Stop pressurizing me for the update and if you guys keep doing it, I'll stop writing this story and will focus only on other stories till the time I am writing

Arjun: Sakshi..

Sakshi: Haan..

Arjun: Can I.. woh..

Sakshi cupped his face.

Sakshi: Kya bolna hai?

Arjun: Can I hug you? Pata nahi kyu lekin bahut man kar raha hai. Jab bhi tumko hug karta hoon na to sukoon milta hai.

Sakshi was just looking at him who was justifying why he wanted to hug her. She could see how much unsure Arjun has become when it comes to expressing his love for the person he loves. And more than that, how much warmth and peace he needed in his life. Though Sikander is no more, but the wound he gave to Arjun was still not healed to the extent that he could handle himself emotionally.

Sakshi: Do you love me?

Arjun nodded in yes.

Sakshi: To phir apne pyaar ko hug karne ke liye puchhate nahi aur nahi apne pyaar ko hug karne ke liye koi justification dete hai. Samje ya.. Samjau..

They both chuckled and Arjun hugged Sakshi tightly. Arjun was feeling really calmed in her embrace. They broke the hug after a while.

Sakshi: Achchha ab yeh batao dawai Li?

Arjun bit his tongue. Sakshi shook her head at his antics.

Sakshi: Betho chalo. Main deti hoon tumhe.

She forwarded him his medicine which he took like an obedient kid as he really did not want to get scolded by her on the day they both just confessed their love.

Sakshi: Chalo Leto. Main yahi hoon jab tak tum so nahi jate.

Arjun looked at her surprisingly.

Sakshi: Are leto baba. Tumhara koi bharosa nahi. Tum kam karne baith Gaye to. Now lie down chalo.

Arjun smiled and lie down. Sakshi sat beside him and started caressing his hair. As soon as Ary felt Arjun beside him, he hugged him. Seeing this Arakshi both fondly chuckled and Arjun started caressing his hair while Sakshi was caressing his hair. Arjun slept in a while. Sakshi too went from there after confirming both brothers are in deep but peaceful sleep.

From the next day onwards, there was a different energy in Arjun and all could see that. Arjun was more calmed and focused. It helped him in improving his health too both physical and mental. His BP issues were resolved and his nightmares have almost gone. He was accepting the changes happening in his life though quite gradually but happily and that was something for which everyone was really happy. Arjun has talked to Kunal too about his and Sakshi's relationship more of like asking his permission to which Kunal has first scolded him for asking permission and then told him how happy he was to see him happy in his life.

Now as Arjun's health is improved, All except Kapoors have shifted back to their houses and Arjun too has again joined ETF office. Today again Arjun was at ETF and here Kapoors and Ary were in the Rawte Villa.

Kunal: Aaj Mr Mehra aur Sakshi aa rahe hai dinner pe

Kiara: I hope Jun koi gadbad na kare

Ary (while biting his nails): Are dada ka koi bharosa nahi. Gadbad karne me to unhone PH. D ki Hui hai

Kunal & Kiara: Agreed

Ary: But don't worry. Dada ne gadbad ki to main unko apni puppy eyes wala look dikha ke mana lunga. It mostly works you know.

Kunal and Kiara stared at Ary who stared at them back and they burst out into laughing.

In the evening, Sakshi and Mr Mehra came and they were having dinner. Mr Mehra looked at Ary who gave his overexcited cheeky smile. Mr Mehra shook his head at his antics fondly and then looked at Kunal who nodded in yes.

Mr Mehra: Arjun..

Arjun: Ji..

Mr Mehra: Beta tumse ek baat karni thi

Arjun looked at Sakshi to know what it can be about but she too was looking at her father with utter confusion. He looked at Mr Mehra and nodded in yes indicating that he can continue.

Mr Mehra: Beta.. Waise to tumne aur Sakshi ne apni feelings ko confess kar liya hai aur kisi ko bhi iss baat se koi problem nahi hai. Agar tum dono ko sahi lag raha hai apne relationship ko leke, ek dusare ko leke agar tum dono iss level tak serious ho to kya hum engagement kar sakte hai?

Arakshi looked at him surprisingly.

Arjun: Yeh achanak.. engagement ki baat kaha se aayi? Kisi ne.. kisi ne kuchh kaha kya aapko?

He asked being concerned.

Arjun: Kisi ristedaar ne?

Mr Mehra: Nahi beta. Kisi ne kuchh nahi kaha. Aur agar tum dono abhi ek dusare ko parakhna chahte ho janna chahte ho to bhi koi problem nahi hai.

He did not say anything further thinking he might offend Arjun or stress him or made him feel pressurized. Kunal intervened.

Kunal: Jun.. Sakshi.. He and in fact we all want to know the status of your relationship. You guys have confessed your feelings lekin sirf confession pe baat atak to nahi jati right.  What are you guys thinking about your relationship? See.. Ek dusare ko janne ka process to life long chalega hi. Jaise jaise life age badhegi ek dusare ke bare me kuchh na kuchh naya naya jante hi rahenge. But what you guys are thinking about the next step in your relationship that's what matters to us the most.

Kiara: Waise bhi dinner ho hi gaya hai to Jun.. Sakshi why don't you guys go and discuss. Then let us know.

Arakshi nodded in yes and went to Arjun's room.

Sakshi: Arjun.. Mujhe sach me nahi pata tha baba yaha aake yeh sab bolenge. I am so sorry. Mujhe unse puchh lena chahiye tha ki woh kya baat karne wale hai. Bappa... Yeh baba bhi na kuchh bhi bol dete hai

She kept on blabbering while Arjun kept on trying to say something or to calm her but she was not listening so he just put his hand on her mouth. Sakshi was looking at him shocked.

Arjun: Shhh... Kitna bolti ho. Ab main bolu?

Sakshi nodded in yes while Arjun took his hand back.

Arjun: Kya tum ready ho? Engagement ke liye?

Sakshi again got shocked with this question.

Sakshi: Arjun yeh tum.. Arjun tumhara comfortable hona zyada important..

She said this much when Arjun stopped her by showing his palm.

Arjun: Iss rishte me main akela nahi hoon Sakshi jo sirf mera comfort hi dekha jaye. Tum bhi ho. So first tell me are you ready for the engagement?

Sakshi: Arjun lekin..

Arjun glared at her to which she quickly nodded in yes somewhere blushing.

Sakshi (quite blushing): Main ready hoon.. (Now again worrying about him) Lekin.. lekin kya tum ready ho?

Arjun sighed.

Arjun: Sakshi.. Frankly I don't know whether it is right time to take the next step or not. What I truly know is if not Roshni, It's only you with whom I am able to feel that comfort.. that connection.. you know the romantic one.

Sakshi nodded and held his hand to give him support so that he can talk to her freely.

Arjun: If not you, then there can be noone Sakshi. If I am thinking myself with a partner except Roshni it's only you. For me, the things end there. I really don't know at which point of time I will be fully expressive of my feelings specially the romantic ones but whenever it comes, It will only be for you. That's for sure.

Sakshi just hugged him tightly feeling so overwhelmed as she just realised how much he loves her and how much she is important to him.

Sakshi: Pagal.. Hamesha itni achchhi baatein karke mujhe emotional karna zaroori hai kya?

Arjun: Maine sirf sach bola hai Sakshi.

Sakshi broke the hug with a wide smile on her face.

Arjun: Hum bata de ki engagement kar sakte hai?

Sakshi: Are you sure tum koi pressure ya force feel nahi kar rahe?

She still asked to which Arjun assured her that he is completely agree with what she feels and he is not pushing himself into doing anything. For him, he might not have realised but naming their relationship was never mattered. He has already accepted Sakshi as a part of his family and he knew he is always gonna protect her and always try to keep her happy.

Arakshi came in the living area and informed others that they are ready for the engagement and as soon as they agreed, Our overexcited Ary burst a party popper and to everyone's no so surprise, Kiara too did the same as now a days, she too does things like baby because of her pregnancy and none was having issue with it.

Mr Mehra: Main kal hi pandit ji se achchha sa muhurt niklwa leta hoon.

Arjun: Lekin mujhe koi zyada tam jham nahi chahiye. Sirf hum sab hi like Mehras, Rawtes, Kapoors, Raichands and Rathores and ETF ke core members.

Sakshi: Haan. Mujhe bhi zyada tam jham nahi chahiye. Even shaadi me bhi nahi chahiye.

Mr Mehra: Haan baba.. Jaise tum dono ki marzi khush.

Arakshi nodded and then Sakshi and Mr Mehra left after talking for a while. Ary was doing his happy dance. He was really happy for Arakshi and all could see that. Arjun looked at Roshni's photo in the living room and felt that it was having an unusual brightness and felt that his Roshni was happy seeing him getting a partner like Sakshi.

Time skips and It was the day of engagement. ETF team including Sam and Ahana were from Sakshi's side and rest all were from Arjun's side. Arjun was ready and was looking at Roshni's photo in his room. He was nervous and was doing one thing which he was habituated to do. Roshni was not just his life partner, she was much more to him and by far only Sakshi and Ary were the ones who are getting his antics and emotions related to frequently looking at Roshni's photo.

Adi came holding his phone and saw a nervous Arjun.

Adi: Wohoo... Somebody is nervous. Sam.. I told you na he will be hell nervous.

Adi and Sam were on video call and Arjun rolled his eyes on Adi's comment.

Sam: Kya yaar Jun.. Phir se harwa diya tune.

Arjun: Haan to maine nahi bola tha bet lagane ko tum dono ko.

Ary came there out of nowhere surprisng everyone.

Ary: Waise bhi bet lagana is bad habit. Hume school me sikhaya tha woh bhi 1st standard me.

He said last line with Rawte special sarcasm to which Arjun could not help but chuckled.

Ary: Dada.. Chale? Di.. hamara wait kar rahi hai meri bhabhi banne ke liye you know.

All chuckled and Arjun nodded in yes while slight blush on his face and Adi put a comforting arm around his shoulder to show his support. Though he might not understand how can Arjun feel the same during both of his engagements but he could see the similarities between Roshni and Sakshi and was getting to know that Arjun too was getting almost equally involved with Sakshi though gradually but he was and he was happy for his best friend.

The Groom's gang reached at Mehras and they all greeted each other. Pandit ji asked to bring Sakshi too. Ayesha and Liza came with Sakshi and Arjun was just awestruck on how beautiful she was looking. He was just not able to leave his gaze from her. Sakshi looked at him and found him lost in her and instantly looked down blushing hard. Pandit ji asked to perfrom ring ceremony lekin hamare Arjun janab abhi bhi Sakshi ko hi ek tuk dekhne me busy the so he did not hear.

Adi: Jun.. ring pehna Sakshi ko.

No response.

Kunal: Bachche.. Ring pehnao chalo.

No response.

Ary signed everyone that let him handle. He went to Arjun and screamed in his ear startling Arjun and made everyone laugh including Sakshi who was blushing and laughing (don't know how she can do that but she was doing it.. Only Sakshi has that talent you know)

Arjun: Who screams like that?

Ary: Haan to Di ko tadna bandh karo. Aur ring pehnao. Kab se bol diya pandit ji ne. Aap ho ki tadne me hi busy ho

Arjun: Firstly.. What is this language? Kisne sikhaya tujhe yeh sab?

Ary rolled his eyes.

Ary: Dada.. I am in boards. I know this things.

He said it like it is an obvious thing and it is obvious considering the current generation when boys and girls are having relationships in primary school.

Arjun made a face.

Ary: Muh baad me banana abhi ring pehnao.

Arjun turned to Sakshi and found her smiling. He asked her permission through his eyes to which she just blinked in yes and that's it. Arjun made her wear the ring. Ary and Abhi burst the party poppers and all clapped hard. Sakshi too made him wear the ring but she has hold his hand in assurance when she hold his hand before making him wear the ring stating she is with him no matter what and that was enough for Arjun. He was smiling widely at her and Sakshi was giving her trademark ear to ear smile with blush intact on her face as After wearing ring, Arjun has not allowed her to leave his hand and now he has hold her hand in his. Ary and Abhi again burst the party popper and rest all continues clapping.

They took elder's blessings and friends congratulated them. Arakshi looked at each other with utmost love, care, respect and admiration. Ary came to them and hugged them both while congratulating them. The screen frezzes on happy faces of everyone.

So.. the engagement is also done. Shadi me abhi time hai.

I need some time to think how to organise tha last plot as the thoughts are quite scattered. I'll try to update this book soon but no promises. And please do not pressurise me for updates
